The first round was a fresh round in 2019. The embryo was a 4AB, and that embryo is now playing in front of me. We had an unsuccessful FET last year-I think that was a 3 or a 4 BB-I can't remember. This one was a 2-3BB so I was a bit surprised they froze it but the embryologist said it defrosted well and she thought it was an AA once it started growing again.
We did slightly change the regime between the two FETs. We upped the oestrogen and because my lining was a bit below 8mm at the last FET. I'm not sure that is what's made the difference because the lining was the same on the fresh transfer and it's always had the triple layers. We also upped the progesterone this time to the same level as the fresh round but again I don't think that has made the difference because I've never had any reason to believe there was an issue with my progesterone levels.
I honestly don't think you can tell in the TWW. I. The fresh round i felt completely normal-the only inkling was that I had a cup of decaf coffee but really went off it. The failed FET I was convinced I was pregnant. This round I felt quite pregnant on Tuesday but I had bad cramping on weds so was convinced it hadn't worked (part of the reason my optimism is quite cautious). I honestly don't think you can tell in the 2 ww.

@womaninkent thanks that’s really helpful to know all that :) I’m praying my lining thickness is good for this round. Scan on Friday! Yes it’s so true that you just can’t really tell but it’s good to know that the changes between your FETs seem to have made the difference. So glad your 3BB made it! Xx

I’ve had mild AF like cramping today.has anyone else experienced this a few days after transfer rather than later on?

@Mochii, yes I did on and off, but couldn’t spot any pattern to any of it and I’m (still) attributing all symptoms to the hormone supplements which I figured would be greater than anything I’d produce early on

@mochii I have cramps since 3dp5dt, almost like PMS. Today is 5dp5dt and still no spotting. I had hot flashes today. I am really scared that my estrogen is dropping and my body is preparing to start my period :( The due date is Tuesday...

@Cayandsimit this is my fear too as I didn’t have cramps at all before the transfer. It feels identical to a period. I haven’t had spotting either. I’m hoping I just didn’t notice it last time when I was so bloated and it’s not necessarily a bad thing 😩

Celebrated last injection today and safety locked the sharps box! But then remembered I’ve got to take Lubion injections this time from transfer day onwards, oops, looks like they’re going to have to give me another. How do you guys usually dispose of the sharps boxes?

@Justawannabemam good luck to you too! Yes we just got the update yesterday (currently 5 embryos), but they will give full update tomorrow before transfer!

Seem quite excited about this next stage, I will be a bag of nerves once it is in me though.

Ok, ladies help...did I see fybrogel is ok to take? Went to pharmacist this morning, but not 100% convinced he took all the information in, with masks on and a busy shop and me not wanting to shout my whole IVF process and bowel movements to the whole shop!! But I am in quite a bit of agony here! Help! I am eating prunes by the bag load 😂

@Bluehawaii29 they asked me to take my sharps box to the appointment for EC. I missed one that was still in fridge so just going to take it tomorrow so they can dispose of it.

@WhiteLily86 yeah I think we are just going to take it with us to the scan on Fri and then ask for new one at same time. Probably see if we can just get them to prescribe our Lubion then too. Would make sense as I don’t think it’s too long to transfer now and don’t fancy a long queue at the pharmacy that day

@Bluehawaii29 my husband locked the sharks box the first day we got it 🥴. Had to prise it open with a knife, I left him to it.

I know my local pharmacy didn’t dispose of sharps when I asked before, hoping someone will take them :/

I dropped my sharps boxes off at the clinic reception! Got to try and remember to take them on EC day!

Did anyone here have any odd symptoms after egg collection or the trigger injection? My asthma has been worse since the day of the trigger which I find odd, hoping it’s just a coincidence. And I have neck pains too, almost like a pulled muscle but it’s on both sides intermittently.
