Today is official test day. I’ve been quietly testing on cheapies since 6dp5dt transfer. I can’t quite believe it’s worked, it hasn’t sunk in. I have to book a scan in 2 weeks to check heartbeat.

@Chrischross oh wow!!!! Congratulations! So happy for you! Such amazing news! So will t he at best a 6/7 week scan? Giving me hope for tomorrow for my otd… I’m so nervous.

@makeithappen2022 thank you. Keeping my fingers crossed for your OTD. Have my scan booked for 17th of December. I suspect I will be testing everyday until then.

@makeithappen2022 I dunno 🤣😭 I woke up stupidly early and tested and got 3+ and a strong line on first response but I've still got brown blood when I wipe don't know whether to feel that it's normal or a sign of something worse coming x

@Infertilitywarrior I thought you might do. Tests are looking amazing. Try not to worry, brown is still fine xx

@makeithappen2022 I should have shares in pregnancy tests I've used so many. I'm trying to stay positive but just have that niggling feeling that I can't shake off. What we put ourselves through ay lol x

Does spotting affect anything? Can i still carry on as normal or should I rest? I was quite looking forward to going to a xmas market today but unsure whether to go x

@Infertilitywarrior I know haha. Yes you are bound to, I think that’s normal, it’s such a worrying time regardless but lots of positives eith your tests this morning and that it has stayed brown. I know what you mean about resting but honestly I don’t think that it would make any difference and the market may take your mind off things too. But I think you need to do what you think is best . Have you called your clinic? Maybe they will give you some more reassurance too xx

@makeithappen2022 In all honesty I'm scared to call clinic in case they tell me something I don't want to hear 😭 I'm avoiding it I've got to speak to them Monday anyway so don't know whether to avoid it until then 🙈

@Chrischross congratulations!!! How are you feeling?

@Infertilitywarrior I was having a panic yesterday and had to be talked down from that on here! I did some research after I got my blood results. It seems if you have higher HCG levels earlier it's a really good sign and it makes your risk of a chemical or a loss in general lower. You also don't need such high levels to be in the "high levels" group. 200+ HCG 12dp5dt is what the study considered high, which is probably most people. I found that quite reassuring. You've got a strong dye stealer there at 16dpt so you're certainly in that group.

Thank you, having everyone tell me not to worry and giving me reasons not to can seem like such a small thing to some people but it means the biggest amount possible to me as it keeps my hope going. We all want this so bad that we end up not enjoying it and end up worrying about every little thing. Your blood results were good weren't they? Do you have more bloods at a certain point or is next step scan? Xx

@Infertilitywarrior I think you have done the best thing, hopefully this will give you the further reassurance you need and then you can go and enjoy the Christmas market. We are having a relaxing day of Christmas films today ❤️

@Infertilitywarrior sorry you are dealing with all this extra worry. Hope the clinic can reassure you. The tests seem a very promising sign to me.

After my wobble the other day, I have tested again. Back to having clear lines which I think are progressing, although not sure if they should be darker by now… bloods Monday at 11dp5ft so just hoping for a good number. When I went into work yesterday I noticed my sense of smell had gone insane, so taking that as a good sign (though as I work in a hospital it may not turn out to be such a good thing 😂)

@Infertilitywarrior if it helps, my panic was caused by a clear blue weeks test. I tested yesterday morning. It said 1-2 weeks and I should be 2-3 so was panicking. I had my blood tested literally within an hour or so of the clear blue, which I did with fmu. Clear blue says +153 would put me into 2-3 weeks and my bloods were 220 so the clear blue was wrong saying 1-2 weeks and should have said 2-3. I think pretty much everyone on that thread had had the same issue with clear blue. Glad your clinic is going to come back to you.

My clinic want to do a scan in a week or so at 6 weeks. I could ask for more bloods but to be honest, I think for me testing loads and researching and so on makes me worry. After getting my bloods yesterday I'm in a better head space. I also have mild symptoms most of bloating with cramps so I think I might just try to keep on my current wave of enjoying that I'm finally pregnant and not worrying too much rather than following up too much. I'll keep testing to watch my line progression too. But I think I might avoid too much time on these forums or researching stats and so on if I can manage it

@paintfairy and @exhaustedpigeon1988 thanks for the info. I shall see if I can find an acupuncturist who specialises in fertility.

@Infertilitywarrior totally understandable to be worried. As the others said, I wouldnt worry if its brown since thats old blood. Maybe your baby kicked it out so they have more space to grow. Which would give you more peace of mind? Not talking to the clinic until monday for fear of bad news or talking to them today to get advice? I would go with whichever would be helpful to you.

My clinic doesnt do blood tests apparently. Going to ask if they can but might need to go private just to have the piece of mind. They do scans at 7-8 weeks.

@Tinyhappypeople my tests seem very promising too I think that's what scares me 🤣 glad your tests are looking good and I'm sure bloods on Monday will put your mind at rest too. Yea not sure about the extra sense of smell being a good thing
@CycleGirl20 sounds like everything is really now going well for you after your wobble but how annoying the clearblue test made you worry for no reason! yes try and enjoy it, it gets ruined all too often by us worrying about every little thing I'm so happy for you
@AMN3000 thank you I'm trying to be more positive that the embies are really making themselves at home in there that's what is causing it. I wonder if maybe my clinic will do bloods for me too if I'm worried. I have acupuncture too and honestly I feel it is amazing it has helped me so much in so many different ways

Clinic just called and gave the same advice that all you have given that its probably implantation bleeding and I have nothing to worry about at all unless it gets really heavy red blood. They have said to just carry on as normal
I can't thank you all enough for your amazing support, I'm going to try and start looking forward and worry less but I'm not promising anything 🤣

@makeithappen2022 I feel the same. Boobs are still heavy, still getting cramps etc. Cm has increased a bit too so get really anxious every time I go to the loo. I have got some first response and clear blue. I am so tempted now that I have the tests this is why I avoided getting them but now they are here they won't stop staring at me (even though I've hidden them) lol.
