Any top tips. Nervous but excited. May only be 4 to collect, hoping smaller ones catch up and grow over weekend. How big is too big?? Lead is 23mm already.

@Abi47 sorry it’s not gone your way this time. There must be plenty of options ahead of you and I always think ivf is a numbers game. Luckily you’ve got a couple more goes which is great xx

Hi @Holskey last call for me was yesterday. So we ended up with 3 blasts from this cycle. 5Bb 5Bb 5Cc. I understand 5Cc is a very low grade. We hope we get something after the PGT-A.

Went well yesterday. They put two on and now waiting to hear on Wednesday to see if a third can make it to freeze.

How are you doing? How long until your test?

@keyu Good news! You said you'd be happy with two, is that still the case? I don't know much about grades (don't even know the grades of my own!). I've heard plenty of success stories with low grades though.

@EmJay19 so the wait continues! I'm glad it went well yesterday. Fingers crossed you can freeze the third, fingers crossed even more tightly for a bfp at the end of your tww! My OTD is Friday but I got a decent bfp yesterday. Very happy but early days. More waiting and waiting!

@Holskey we had 3 good blasts this morning so one went in, the other 2 biopsied and frozen. There were a few which were early blasts so they were going to watch for the rest of the afternoon and tomorrow to see if they get to the right stage...if they do they will biopsy and freeze. Then 1 was not at blast stage at all. So now in the 2ww 😬

@EmJay19 that's great they put 2 in, fingers crossed the third is suitable to freeze

@Holskey just seen you got BFP!!! 😍😍😍Fantastic news!! Which tests do you use for early testing, I'm not really prepared this time after last time!

@Coops, TWW for you too! I used FRER, the most sensitive as far as I know. I got mine at 6dp5dt this time (I think I would have got a bfp earlier though), but I've had a FET before and didn't get anything until a squinter in the evening of 8dp5dt, so bear that in mind if you do test early. Caused me some heartache last time for no good reason. Really hope you get a bfp too 🤞

@Holskey Wow! That is amazing news your BFP, did not see that before.😻 😻😻. It's all I can dream of, so so happy for you.

I really do wish we all get this as soon as possible.

@Coops0406 good luck. You know just yesterday I was thinking we do the same thing, while we send 5 to be tested, we could do a fresh transfer if all goes well with the 3rd cycle. Our clinic says it will take 4 to 5 weeks for the results. So many decisions to make.

I am so stressed out with all the decisions we have to make, was not stressed out during the process, but the decisions 🥱

Congrats @Holskey!! Can I ask why you are confident you would have gotten some sort of line at 5d5pdt when last time you didn't until 8 days post transfer?

@Keyu that's a fabulous outcome! Two 5BBs! And yes 5CC not great, I'm in a similar boat with a 5CB, but well aware for all I know it could be my only euploid- morphology is related to ploidy somewhat yes, but that doesn't mean that within a cycle that the worst graded might not be the only euploid as it does happen!

@Coops0406 any update from today, did any more make it to freezable?

@Holskey I know! Can't believe it!! I'm trying not to think about it, just pretend it's not in there, but I don't know how long I can do that for!! Will have a look at these FRER ones, I think I have a clear blue one from last time but a lot on here use the FRER ones.

@Keyu it seemed like a no brainer for us to do it so we weren't wasting 3 months before they put one in...I don't think I could've waited to be honest! So are you doing 3 cycles of egg collection then testing them all before anything goes back in? I didn't even know that could be done!

@tulipsandsnow bizarrely all three were good blastocyst today and have been biopsied and frozen!! So 5 Frosties and hopefully hear back with results in 3-4 weeks!!

Thanks @tulipsandsnow. I didn't test 5dp5dt transfer so can't be sure but the 6dp5dt line wasn't a squinter. I would have waited based on my past experience, but I couldn't really delay testing if I wanted an idea before AF was due (and I definitely did want to be prepared): AF is 13dpo for me, and although it was a 5d blast, it was transferred on 6dpo (clinical decision apparently) so AF was due 7dp5dt (It was a natural FET with no meds to alter my cycle.)

In fact, writing this I'm wondering if it's more appropriate to say 6dp6dt?? I assumed the age of the blast was more likely to determine the timings but could be wrong.

Anyway, I guess no two transfers are the same 🤷‍♀️

How are you coping with your tww for test results? Have you any reason to think there might be an issue, or is it just you don't want to waste time/money transferring embryos that can't work?

Just heard from clinic. Out third embryo didn’t make it to freeze unfortunately but am ok worth that as the two they put in were good quality embryos so happy with that.

The two week wait of doom… this is my fifth time and it’s not getting any easier. I’m waking a lot in the night. Have read progesterone can do that but tbh I’m also super anxious.
Any tips for a good night sleep?

@EmJay19 sorry about your third embryo, but still hoping for great things from at least one of those you have on board!

I didn't take progesterone and I couldn't sleep at all in the tww. Too nervous! I listened to a few ivf meditation videos on YouTube before bed, which I found relaxing and helped me feel more positive (though I know that's not for everyone). I can only imagine the tww getting worse and worse the more you do it

Do you guys have any idea if most clinics are open to transfer two embryos? Something I had considered but worried I may have twins if it works out, don't know if my uterus can handle it since I had a 1kg fibroid taken out in Feb this year. I would give anything to have twins though as this is such a difficult journey and I am 40.
I haven't been told I can't, just read online about womb rupture and so on😁.

Sometimes I feel I should give myself breaks from going online. Does anyone else ever feel that way.

@EmJay19 sorry to hear about your 3rd one but wishing you all the luck in the world with your two good ones that you are looking after 🥰 when is your test day and do you think you'll test early?

@Keyu I don't think my clinic are open to transferring two, all the paperwork said they wouldn't...I'm 39 and even after a terrible round last time they never discussed that as an option moving forward. I don't really know what sort of criteria they base transferring two on really. I think the internet is an obsession for all of us going through this, it's impossible not to look everything up!!

This wait is looong but I’ve had light at the end of the tunnel before and it will happen again! I am very lucky to have my 2yo DS so I guess it is easier on some levels right now. I think I will give the meditation a go now though thank you.

@Keyu is it your first time? I think most clinics usually recommend one to begin with, especially if your embryos are good quality.

I’ve had such a rollercoaster with putting two in. My history is:

Fresh cycle July / August 2018
2 embryos. 1 in and one frozen (negative)

Frozen transfer September 2018: chemical pregnancy

Fresh cycle 2 Jan / Feb 2019
3 embryos. Was advised by dr to put two in so we did. Pregnant with twins until 12 week scan showed the smaller baby stopped growing at around 11 1/2 weeks. Was heartbroken and really angry with myself for putting 2 in. My DS was born healthy though so that is all that matters!

Frozen transfer June 2021 negative

Fresh cycle August 2021: no eggs!!! 😭

Fresh cycle October 2021: 5 eggs and 2 good embryos. Was advised again to put two in. Since the no egg cycle I think it’s fair to say my chances aren’t brilliant so took the risk. Was advised by consultant and embryologist…

The thing I worry about with twins is if one or both are born unwell / with a disability I would be partly responsible for that as I put them in together… but I’ve done it 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️
