Couldn't see a thread for May so I thought I'd start one!

Anyone else doing their cycle in May? I just got my calendar through and all the injections look extremely Not Fun (this is my first time doing it) 😕

Hey everyone hope you’re good. This is IVF #4 and a new protocol first scan is Friday so anxious about those results and whether the meds are working well.

Also just went nuts at OH for going off to play his computer game before helping me finish tonights injections. The gender gap in this whole thing feels huge! Anyway thats one for another day. Wishing you all well with your cycles. We can do this 🤛

@Nix49816 congrats on the faint line, can understand your caution so won't celebrate too much at this point, but it's defo something to be pleased with!! ♥️
@strawberrysummer19 hope you respond well! I have my first scan next Monday too but that's to check that I'm down regulated as we're doing long protocol.

Morning all :) A couple of busy days at work means I haven't posted but I've been reading all the updates in my spare 5 minutes. I get really excited seeing all your progresses - don't know about you all but I feel like I'm on your journeys with you 😂 @Georgie87B you are literally having your EC as I type - so excited for you. Sounds like we are on the same treatment plan and you are a couple of weeks ahead so it's nice seeing where you're at with it all.
@Bells3032 how are you getting on in isolation? We need the sunshine so you can atleast get outside in the garden.
@coops I'm still on norethisterone - stop taking it Friday and start stims 19th. I'm been really lucky and haven't really suffered - a few twinges here and there but nothing major. Hopefully your body will start to adjust to them soon, and before you know it you will be onto next stage :)
@StrongEagle I'm sure you are excitedly waiting by the phone today - sending you lots of positive vibes for good updates :)

@TeaAndCrumpets1 have you caved and POAS yet? I did this morning and got two lines 😬 I'm only 5dp5dt but 12 days since trigger so hoping it's not the trigger shot but will keep testing daily to see if I get progression.

@Nix49816 congratulations on your test! How many days post transfer was you?

I did my first one 6dp5dt and only got a really faint line, doing one each day so I can line them up and compare like a crazy person! 😂

I just had a call from the clinic and out of my 12 eggs, 10 were mature and 7 fertilised. I am super pleased with that but it is hard to hear the number dwindle down even though I know it's exactly what happens xx my next call it Saturday morning when they can tell me the grades of the them x

I’m afraid that’s it for me ladies, I’ve just started spotting brown blood at 8dp5dt, which is how AF always announces her arrival. I’ve had all the usual signs that she has been on her way since Mon, so it isn’t a shock, but it’s still upsetting. I’ve just rung the clinic and they’ve said one of the nurses will ring me back this afternoon. Thankfully we’ve still got one in the freezer so hopefully we can start the process of getting them put back home in the next month or two xx

@Nix49816 thank you! Oh that's good to know then if you was 6dp5dt. Will attach a pic of my test. I'm so pleased I'm not the only naughty person haha. Have you tested today? Yeah I'm going to test everyday now.

@TeaAndCrumpets1 Oh I'm so sorry for you, doesn't matter how prepared you are it's still gutting when you get confirmation it hasn't worked. Look after yourself today, takeaway and wine then focus on that little freezer fella!

@Crazydoglady123 that's a good line! The two together are days 6 & 7 then the single is today, I feel it's a little darker than the stronger one from yesterday?

@StrongEagle ah 7 is a really good number. I only had 7 retrieved and ended up with 3 blasts so hopefully you'll get higher numbers than that.

@TeaAndCrumpets1 ah sending your virtual hugs. hopefully it may just be a reaction to the pessaries or something.

@Nix49816 I can't really see anything the top one but very faintly on the green one. It's still so so early though

I got my meds delivered today. I am really confused as i previously had double ovitrelle trigger but they've sent me one ovitrelle and one supercur. I rung the clinic and they said that's correct and they've changed the protocol.

I've had good quality eggs my previous two rounds (banked for a future second child) so it's making me nervous they're changing it.

They have also changed my frymadel from 20 minutes before my stims in the evening to the morning.

The doctor has changed at the clinic but it's making me a bit anxious!

We got our day 3 update
We have 8 that are 6-8 cells (which is what they want them to be) 2 are a bit slower but getting there (4 cells) and 1 is 6 cells but with irregular division. I can't believe it!!

Hey guys! Hope you don’t mind me jumping in.
I’m about to start my 2nd cycle after trying to start since Feb but had a massive cyst in the way the the last few months but this morning has my scan and all of good to start when my period arrives which should be the today or tomorrow! My first cycle ended in a missed miscarriage and no frozen. On a higher dose of menopur to try and get some this time so another fresh cycle.
How are you guys finding it?

@Crazydoglady123 Hoping it stays positive for you and thats its not the trigger - I don't want to stop you being hopeful but I know some ladies have still had trigger hcg lines around that time. Have you tested out the trigger before to know when it typically leaves your system? Keeping fingers crossed though that this is the real deal for you!

@DoctorBambino That is fab news they're all still going! Looks like you're in the running for a really high number of healthy day 5 embryos!

@TeaAndCrumpets1 Oh lovely I'm sorry to hear you think AF is here. Just to prepare you, my clinic made me keep going with the cyclogest and everything until OTD and test again then, so you might be asked to do the same, which I know will be the last thing you want to do if it is AF. It was a really rough time for me last time, so do anything you can for self care, and speak to the clinic counsellor if you have one and feel it would help.

How did you find your first injection? I remember I was pooping myself but it wasn’t as bad as I thought just trying to remember that again haha.
I’m on 225 menopur 1200 last time I think I was 150 menopur 600. What about you? X

@TeaAndCrumpets1 ahh so sorry to hear that you think AF is arriving.. Hopefully your next FET is meant to be! Hope the call with your clinic gives you a bit more information on what do to next.

Thanks everyone for the well wished this morning 😁 EC went well. Unlike some I didn't have a nice snooze throughout it all but is wasn't unbareable and concentrated mor eon the gas and air and was over so quick! Got a total of 13 eggs collected which I am pleased about as was more than I expected. Now just to wait for an update tomorrow 🤞🤞
