So basically today is my last day of clomid my first and only round!
So taking ovulating sticks , I'm cycle day 10
Wondered if anyone is in similar boat and want to keep each other company along the way!!!

@Shelleybe I definitely felt like dull aches in my ovary areas from after the clomid finished all the way to ovulation. I was scanned CD8, 9, 10 and 11 and they hoped a couple would drop back and stop growing but they just kept going, annoying really. Hugely regret not just trying anyway but I think it would have been nerve wracking waiting to find out if there were loads of them in there 😂

@chloedancer897 you’re now right in the dreaded two week wait. So hard not to think about it all the time! I always count down the days to testing, although I’ve been trying to avoid it the last couple of months - it’s so disappointing. Have you got tests at the ready or are you able refrain haha

@Luna1108 omg that's the feeling so have I'm mine 😵😵😵 think I'm tht paranoid about more than 2 babies that even if I'm lucky enough would only be one lol

@lastbany I can sort of describe it as like a deep pulling pain, like a could feel the ovaries expanding 😂 I ended up with 2 big ones on each side.

They’re only monitoring me again this time because of last time. I’m in tomorrow morning at 9am, nervous that the low dose hasn’t done anything because I haven’t felt the same pains!

@Luna1108 ah fingers crossed for you tonorow! Please keep us updated! I don't know what's more stressful having tests at every stage or not having any!!!

So just took an ovulation test and it's stark white! It is a cheapo so I'm taking with pinch of salt! So strange! I'm wondering if I'm gonna ovulate proper late due to the clomid , as I finished it day 10 and said takes 5/10 days to make you ovulate? Can't help but think what if I ovulate one of my own eggs at normal time then ovulate a clomid egg later on! Tom much time on my hands lol not working till weekend haha! Anyway we dtd last night to cover if it's wrong!

Just took a rest. Stark white BFN. I'm 11DPO. It was an FRER. So that's me out this month.

I would keep dtd in case sticks are wrong. I’m still neg so will keep you posted if mine even change. Can you ovulate twice on clomid? I haven’t a clue. I swear I’m Googling way too much

@chloedancer897 aw I’m so sorry. Hope next month is the month. Worst thing seeing BFN. Hope doing ok...

@lastbany I'm sure the OPKs aren't accurate on clomid. So you can just DTD every other day. Is there any way you can get your progesterone checked? Your GP should be able to do it. If I could, I'd fly over and do it for you! Lol I'm a midwife so I usually get a colleague to do my bloods for me lol

@chloedancer897 no way! Haha I'm a nurse also surgical one so I could but can't Oder it myself lol

@lastbany just ring your GP and ask if you can process it through them. My consultant used his cypher but I have done it in the pat through my GP with no problems.

8, 11, 12, 15 & 16mm

I don’t even know what to think anymore! So I’m reacting more to a lower dose which makes no sense. The nurse seemed totally baffled. So I’m back tomorrow to redo the measurements in the hope a couple stop growing.

I don’t think I can give up another month

@Luna1108 bloody hell!! Although are some not small I though had to be over 18? (Probably totally wrong ) thought I had read that somewhere?!
How do you feel? (Draft question) so will you wait for scan on couple days or are you just gonna try?

This makes me so paranoid!! I mean what if we had 5 follicles all growing have sex and they all implant? I know it's very unlikely but not impossible right?? We don't get monitored so who knows what's going on??

@lastbany I’m only CD8 so I’ve got another week before I ovulate normally. Last time I had 4 over 18mm so that’s why it got cancelled. Just hoping only 2 continue!!

@Luna1108 ahh ok bloody hell so how many scans woll you have now or will tonorow be last one? It's so conflicting the advice was just googling about it and people tried with 5/7/9 eve 10 good follicles as not all had eggs etc and most they ended up with is twins! But then some doctors tell you not to try but then what if you weren't getting checked? You would have just tried I'm assuming?! Confusing and annoying for you!

@Luna1108 I'd just go for it anyway! What are the chances that all follicles will fertilise and they all will implant? I'm sure it's not that high. It's up to you of course but I think I'd just go for it

@Luna1108 when is your next scan. Did nurse say anything. Sorry I can’t offer more advice. Not being scanned here so haven’t a clue and just going for it... do you think you will just try...

So I went back to look at my numbers from my last round at CD8 and they were 11, 13, 14 and 15mm.

All of them were over 18mm by the end so ‘are risk’ of ovulating. Based on my symptoms they definitely popped, the cramps were unreal.

I won’t be giving up this month, I felt awful not trying last cycle after all the months and months of trying.

I’ve got another scan tomorrow and maybe Thursday too. They tell me each day if I need to come back, thankfully my work are very understanding.

I should definitely just try anyway, right?

@Luna1108 a mean look it's totally Upto you! But look how many of us arent been checked? I think of you weren't checked you would never know but even if you ovulate the chance you fertilise them and then they implant is very low! I looked and in America they tell you not to try if there's more than 20!! Haha yep that's right 20!!!! So I just think personally I would take risk worse case you have quads lol ah wait quints lol in my head I'm already pregnant with 5!! As it's just my luck 😂😂 no seriously it's uptp you! I also read even if you ovulate on clomid it's only 20% it takes and you conceive so I feel all over the place with emotions!!

@Luna1108 it's entirely your choice. If it was me, I'd try. I'm desperate. I'd take 4 babies no problem 😂

@chloedancer897 when are you testing?? I'm so desperate to know if you worked 😵
