So basically today is my last day of clomid my first and only round!
So taking ovulating sticks , I'm cycle day 10
Wondered if anyone is in similar boat and want to keep each other company along the way!!!

@lastbany I haven't read anywhere that it says it makes a difference when you take it so don't worry!

I've taken about 10,000 pregnancy test since TTC and can't face a BFN so I'm trying to hold out. I have bought FRERs though so the temptation is there! Lol

@chloedancer897 I feel you!! It was driving me mad!! I fell preg without trying with my teenagers Infact I was young and didn't realise till late on with first!! But then 16 years on first month I feel preg with my daughter and third baby! Have been pregnant 6 times in total once where I fell pregnant on the coil!!! When they removed I miscarried but honestly we all used to joke about my fertility! But then since birth of my third I messed on and off mini pill but it's 10 months of trying and ten months of BFN the most annoying thing is each time I felt sure as I had pregnancy tell tales!! But never was so I get the BFN it's awful!!! Dreading this tbh as I decide this is it last go and then I'm hanging up hat and deciding Thts it for me! No more babies :) for several reasons age/work /home life etc so feel there's a lot riding on it but also don't want to put too much pressure in myself c

@lastbany it's crazy isn't it? I had my first two so easily (once by accident! And I was on the pill!) and now that I want this, it's not happening.

@Lielle I found my period stopped earlier too. I did CD2-6, took my last pill today. I’m normally 5 days but it was barely there by day 4. I assume because of the lack of oestrogen?! Just a guess.

@lastbany I’m feeling shitty too but doesn’t help that 3 of my close knit group are currently pregnant 🙄 the hot flushes are what get me the most, that and cramps.

@Luna1108 ye that's pants! But will be lovely if it works for you!! Ye my cramps are awful and it gets me pretty worried I am a worrier and suffer health anxiety xx

Hi ladies, hoping I can join ye. Started clomid last week. Days 2-6. Cramps, bloated and anxiety. TTC for over a year and all tests showed normal but no lap and dye done yet. I’m 37 no kids and feel like I’m letting my partner down. Don’t know why it isn’t happening. My last progesterone before clomid was 35 so interested to see what next progesterone level will be. I have no one really to talk to. Everyone else seems to get pregnant so easily and is like oh it just happened or was an accident. Good to meet people going through it too and understand.

@Shelleybe sound very similar to me apart for I do have children but past year it not happening finished first cycle two days ago had exact same symptoms as you !!have you ovulated yet??im same age too xx

@lastbany thanks for the reply. I finished my clomid on Friday night 26th. I haven’t ovulated yet. My cycle was always 25 days but I am not sure how clomid will affect that and my ovulation was always around day 12/13 before. I’m on 50mg and taking progesterone test day 17. How you been feeling?

Snap also on 50mg I usually have 28/31 day cycle usually ovulate 12/14 I'm currently on cd12 and my cm has really started today!!! Only finished two days ago on the clomid I f*** up and instead of day 5 started day 6!! I blame nights and lack of sleep lol hoping it works ! I took a LH test yesterday cheapo yes but was practically nothing there so god noes if I am ovulating?! Had really bad cramps last night to point I went bed! My anxiety has been terrible. Maybe cais I'm not been monitored I am only taking this one then that's it! Always conceived easily so this is strange! Don't know if it's stress related!! Feel better today actually! Just lots of cm I went walk with my daughter and rushed home as I thought I was bleeding was that wet (sorry) how about you?

Ah I know what you mean. It’s like extra stress on us and it’s like all month long from BDing to ovulation to will it/won’t it come this month! It’s like never ending. Then my partner is like “well anything? “ and then all disappointed. He has no kids and it’s all he wants in world. Did you always have a lot of CM I noticed some but never a lot. Hoping that changes although uncomfortable being out walking. Hopefully good sign to you. They say ovulation tests can be wrong with clomid. Are you doing the blood tests? I know some sites mention multiples and people getting scans but my doc said nothing just here is prescription and let me know your progesterone results... hoping it works...

I am going start accupuncture too. Hoping it helps anxiety. I totally get it. I suffer anxiety anyway so this is just adding to it... are you doing anything for yours

@Shelleybe no no blood tests no scans no nothing lol Mayve Caus I said I will only do one course then stop (personal reasons and family history etc) so if it doesn't work that's it really , this is another thing because I've never struggled before with conceiving etc and I ovulate I'm so worried abo it multiples twins wouldn't be too bad eeek but more is like wtf?! My eldest goes uni in October so gives us little more room but not more finances lol and supose I wouldn't know till 12 week scan?!! If I'm lucky enough to conceive think I'll pay for a private scan to see how many are there!!!!

My anxiety is purely health anxiety! I'm ok in general just told myself my ovaries are gonna explode etc lol funny but not! But in general I'm ok c

I know I couldn’t imagine multiples... omg! But my partner just goes we shouldn’t be getting ahead of ourselves...

It’s a pity they wouldn’t even do blood work but by time you get progesterone result anyway it’s not long till ya know if it has worked or not. Do you think you would give it more than one go or definite no? Aww I hope you get good news. I wouldn’t worry about taking it a day late I have read so many different places people taking it different times at cycle and also different times of day/evening

@Shelleybe Na I wouldn't I've had to pay for it which is one thing! Secondly is off issues family wise with ovarian cancer etc so I said would do one round then if didn't work not ment to be, think if I didn't to Haley or didn't have children I would consider lots more but they said Caus I have kids I don't qualify for any ivf or any type of help so I'll take it as it is lol

@Shelleybe welcome and so sorry you've found yourself here. It's the most frustrating and upsetting place to be wanting something so bad and not having answers. I hope clomid will give you a good chance. It sounds like your LP is quite short of you ovulate day 14 and have a short enough cycle? I've read that clomid can increase your progesterone levels to elongate the LP which would be perfect if that happened to you! Has hubby had tests done too?

My consultant did scan me to make sure I didn't have too many follicles and I had a progesterone blood test at 7dpo to confirm ovulation. I think that's the gold standard of care for clomid. Can you ask for those?

@lastbany Aw I’m sorry. That’s hard and it’s also frustrating no help with IVF. I have started looking in to that just in case and it’s expensive...

Hi @chloedancer897 thanks a mil. I have blood tests but he never mentioned the scan. I must definitely ask. Yeah I was wondering too about my cycle and LP whether it was too short for implantation. Yeah he had tests and all ok. So I feel like it’s me... I’m hoping clomid will be the miracle

It’s such an isolating place to be in when someone says aww I’m pregnant. You are obviously happy for them but you just feel so disappointed at same time as you are doing everything.

Apart from clomid are ye doing anything else. Vitamins etc ?

Hi @Shelleybe, sorry to hear that you’re going through it, it can be so isolating can’t it.

I’m taking a load of supplements after reading a book about improving egg quality. So I take Ubiquinol, vitamin D, omega 3 and the standard pregnacare prenatal. I also had my thyroid tested and discovered there was an issue there so taking meds for that too.

Not sure if it’s helping but I’m hoping this cycle will prove it is!

@Shelleybe I've been TTC for over 3 years so I've tried everything under the sun, seed cycling cutting out alcohol and caffeine, getting active etc. At the minute I'm just taking pregnacare conception and coQ-10. Hubby takes the men's supplement for conception.

It really is isolating. There were a group of us who were TTC together and I'm the only one left who hasn't had a baby. People don't even ask me anymore because they don't want to upset me. I'm so happy for other people but often wonder why me?

Personally I'm not taking anything other than clomid which is making me eat like a beast! Lol tbh I never have I took folic acid for three months when preg we dd, but as I said earlier I had fell out with other half badly! We ended up going out Mother's Day getting smashed after two weeks of going out separately and drinking had one day/night of a lot of fun then didn't talk for two weeks then I found out pregnant!!! So just shows lol then I have been very healthy stopped smoking 2 years now! I don't drink or go out anywhere and I can't conceive!! Honestly life isn't fair haha
