Hi all, just a wee update. that's me on the way home. Feeling a bit sick and nauseous but nothing too bad. We managed to get 17 eggs so that's fabulous.
Now waiting for the call in the morning to hear how many fertilise. Fingers crossed!

Off to my bed and lots of Netflix for the remainder of the day.

Thanks ladies. I'm feeling much better now after a long sleep and some food. The car just made me feel so sick.

@jonrik did they mention anything to you about OHSS or do they think you'll be ready for transfer in next couple days?

No, that didn't even come up as a topic. 'll be ready for transfer on Monday and hopefully have some to freeze.

Hi all, we have 9 fertilised eggs. 15 of the 17 were mature. Very happy with that! Now the waiting begins. One more update tomorrow and then nothing over the weekend so we'll find out on Monday what we actually have to work with

Thanks both. I'm ok actually, I'm really busy at work and homeschooling my DC so I don't have too much time to think really. I think that's a blessing in disguise really. Having said that, on some days it takes over and it's all I think about! I think I may find things harder once ET has happened. What can I do, what shouldn't I do, did I just feel something and all that! I think that will be quite nerve wrecking. It all seems a bit out of my control just now, nothing to do so that's a bit harder for me.

I feel like I always get excitement for everyone else and I'll be eagerly awaiting Monday coming for you to see how you get on as well. I'll probably be just as nervous in your tww too! 🙈

I've been struggling a lot with bloating / trapped wind / constipation since EC or since starting cyclogest. It's been quite a tough couple of days. Hopefully, things are getting better now.
Good news from the clinic. All 9 fertilised eggs split as expected for day 2. One of them is quite fragmented but the others are looking good so that's encouraging. All good for Monday morning transfer I won't get an update over the weekend so fingers crossed for a good result then!

Peppermint tea if you like it could help with the bloating? Hope you can manage to find some chill time over the weekend.

That's a good one @florafoxtrot. I've had a couple of fennel teas already today but peppermint is a good shout also!

I phoned the clinic today and asked what they suggest and they basically said to do whatever helps. Baths, hot water bottles, medication. Just to do it so that makes me feel a bit better.

Chill weekend ahead for sure!

Hi all. I'm a bit late here but hoping I'm ok to join. Hoping to be going for EC at GCRM at the end of next month. First attempt for us, found out I have very low AMH after a mc in October but hopeful enough to give it a shot.

Arghhh, I was going to chill all weekend but now I'm quite excited. Less than 24 hours until I have a wee embryo in me! Eek!
