@pixelflower just had my call, 4 out of 5 have made it to day 5 and are now in the freezer.
Considering I had made myself believe we'd get none I'm crying so much.

Weirdly I tried the manifesting trick this morning and imagined myself hearing that four had made it and that's how it is! 😭

pixelflower · 01/03/2021 14:33

@willithappen that's brilliant! I'm so happy! Actually tearing up too. That's such good news.

willithappen · 01/03/2021 14:37

@pixelflower I was hoping for two this whole time so it meant there wasn't as much pressure on the first transfer so I'm just behind grateful!
That's a 50% result from the initial fertilized ones

No sign of your call?

pixelflower · 01/03/2021 14:45

@willithappen and you got double! 4 in the freezer is amazing.
No call yet. Positive attitude is struggling more the later it gets.

willithappen · 01/03/2021 15:14

@pixelflower quite late for calls now, hopefully it comes soon! Go with no news is good news!

pixelflower · 01/03/2021 15:29

Just off the phone now. All three are still looking good and I'm in Wednesday. I'm an absolute sobbing mess right now, cats are freaked out.

willithappen · 01/03/2021 16:01

@pixelflower ahhhh yess!!! So so happy for you!! This is amazing news all round today! ❤️❤️

pixelflower · 01/03/2021 16:25

Definitely a good news day 😁 Going to try and enjoy the relief before the waiting again 🤣 At least I know when the next wait ends.

LabradorMum · 01/03/2021 18:39

Awww so happy for you both @pixelflower @willithappen can’t wait to hear how the rest of this week goes 🤗

pixelflower · 01/03/2021 18:48

@LabradorMum thank you. 💕 Glad we've been able to be (eventually for me ) positive on your first day on meds!

willithappen · 01/03/2021 19:58

The rest of this week will be back to period watch for me haha
Good luck with starting the meds lovely!

willithappen · 02/03/2021 11:34

Didn't take long on period watch. She arrived this morning 😂
Start oestrogen tablets on the next period I get and provisionally booked in for egg transfer on 17th April

LabradorMum · 02/03/2021 11:48

Wow that was quick @willithappen 😂

willithappen · 02/03/2021 11:57

Haha yeah quick from when I posted! So 6 days after egg collection she showed face! I was told within 4 days but the doctor said yesterday because I had a lot of folicles it could take a week.
Glad it's here, time for another chilled cycle and then back at it again!

pixelflower · 02/03/2021 12:20

Woo! One step closer 😁 And tablets? 😯Yay for IVF meds you don't have to stick somewhere 😳🤣

Paige2207 · 02/03/2021 12:21

Hi Ladies hope you are all well!

Just been catching up on your posts and good news! 🥳 All very positive and happy for yous! 4 is amazing! And congrats on your period @willithappen 😄 and good luck for Wednesday @pixelflower! x

willithappen · 02/03/2021 12:40

@pixelflower oh don't worry I don't get off with not doing pessaries lol. I will have to do pessaries also I think! Just start with oestrogen tablets on day 1 of cycle, not sure when pessaries are added as I don't have dates written on my protocol.
It does say pessaries until 12 completed weeks of pregnancy 🥺

pixelflower · 02/03/2021 13:09

@Paige2207 thank you 😊 how are you?

@willithappen here's hoping for weeks and weeks of pessaries!

Paige2207 · 02/03/2021 16:41

Hey yeah am good thanks! Had a couple of low days over weekend..not sure if it was busrelin or work but got a couple days off now and just been out a walk and underestimated how cold it’s gotten after a nice few days..my bum is freezing haha!

Started progynova this morning and still using the spray. Got more meds than the chemist these days..so fingers crossed lining starts progressing 🤞🏼

Have yous told anyone about appts / treatments etc? I told my workmate last week and he was so supportive I wish I told him sooner. So nice to talk to someone outside family x

Scirocco · 02/03/2021 16:52

Gah, my cycle seems all over the place still. Only on cd21 and getting cramps like my period's about to start (lower abdo and down into my thighs). It used to be super regular at 29-30 days but since August happened it's been all over - had a 40 day cycle at one point and now it feels like a 22 day one is imminent... So frustrating. How am I meant to time things effectively when it's this chaotic?

pixelflower · 02/03/2021 18:23

@Paige2207 it's so deceiving just now! It looks lovely, but it's still cold. As far as people knowing about it, my mum, my sister and sister in law know about everything so far. I have about 3 friends who I told when we first confirmed we'd be referred for IVF. I have a colleague/friend who knows we were waiting to start and one that knows we're in the middle of it right now but not the details. I kinda needed people to talk to, but now I'm in it I feel more secretive about it. Saying that, if I'd been working with those who knew I'd have probably spoken more but not been on together. Thats great he's been so supportive.

@Scirocco I'm sorry your cycle is all over the place. It's an added stress/frustration you really don't need.

Paige2207 · 02/03/2021 21:33

Oh no @Scirocco that’s rubbish! Hope you don’t mind me asking about August?

Yeah, it’s really deceiving I didn’t bother with a hat or gloves..proper regret! 🤣

My family & other half family knows..3 pals and now my colleague. But sometimes, like yourself want to keep things private as I don’t know too much and have a bad habit of just agreeing with nurses & drs then leaving wishing I had asked more 🤦🏼‍♀️ Then mum asks me a million questions after an appointment and I rarely have an answer so google more than I should. I’ve recently had a friend’s wife reach out to me too..we didn’t get on then and now we’re good pals - funny how infertility can turn into a positive when you least expect it! I’m just glad we have the best support from our people when things get tough but glad to have this page for questions & answers even if some of us are all doing it differently it’s lovely to have a safe space x

Scirocco · 03/03/2021 00:00

@Paige2207 August was when we lost our little one (second trimester miscarriage). My cycle's still not right, probably not helped by work stress either. We got put back to the start of the waiting list because we'd conceived, too, so likely to have to wait until October for any NHS treatment.

pixelflower · 03/03/2021 08:10

@Scirocco I'm so sorry. Imagining how I'd feel and just want to offer a massive hug.
Also sorry that I'm terrible at remembering everyone's experiences so far, it's one of the reasons I'm not active on the monthly cycle posts, too many people.

Paige2207 · 03/03/2021 09:32

Oh I’m so sorry for your loss @Scirocco big hugs to you 💐after our last miscarriage did take a good few months for my cycle to go back to normality and like yourself I was regular like clockwork before pregnancy it’s the pits all of this waiting!

Really hope your cycle starts to regulate soon and 🤞🏼you get started on your treatment sooner than October x
