A thread for those who are undergoing infertility investigations / IVF in Scotland 🙂

@pixelflower just had my call now and have 5 at the moment at day 3. One didn't make it and two are slower. So yeah, now is the wait until Monday! At least I can go get some housework done now without staring at the phone

I'm still nervous we don't get any to day 5 but have to try keep hope!

@willithappen that's great! Fingers crossed the slower ones keep going and catch up. Funny that we're still the same days for updates.

@pixelflower I think I'm feeling a bit more positive about things now. A lot better than I was yesterday anyway. I think the 17 > 8 dip yesterday is what got my mood low.

I know our journeys have intertwined so much! I'm so excited for you to get to transfer stage and hear all about it then! My friends test day is tomorrow and now I'm all clock watching waiting for it to be tomorrow AM and for an update from her!

@willithappen I'm glad you're feeling more positive now 😊 I'm going to get out in the sun and hope it helps. I'm trying to think positive. I've kinda said from the beginning if I could at least get two from this round and have one in the freezer to take the pressure off a bit that would do and I still have that possibility so going to try and think positively.
That's exciting that she's testing tomorrow. Even though she's a complete stranger I'm rooting for her cause she's "in the club".
I was also anxiously checking here to see if you'd had your update.

@pixelflower yeah I have been routing for her and all of you's on the exact same level I route for myself lol

One of the nurses told me not to get too deep with stuff because if it worked for one of us but not the other one then we would feel jealous but honestly I haven't felt that way one bit yet.
If this crazy process works out for any of you and doesn't for me this time then I'm still going to be absolutely over the moon for you all!

@willithappen I was a bit concerned about that happening down the line when the three of us were all so close, but especially since we've all had different experiences so far I'm not worried. When it's one of "us" I'm just as happy for them as someone I really know, but more hopeful instead of jealous.
I've not mentioned social media to the nurses incase I got a telling off for not just listening to them 😂

I didn't mention social media really, but I did say I joined a Facebook group and got a bit of a telling off lol
I have had a good experience here so far though and really got the support I need from all of you
This process isn't easy at all so anyone going through it and getting a BFP I'm so chuffed for!

@pixelflower @willithappen hey ladies so happy to hear your update today. Glad you are both being positive as you’ve said only takes one egg 😁

What a difference a day makes. I'm feeling a lot more relaxed today. Might be getting some sun and just relaxing yesterday.
I don't know how I'd have coped without you guys, having people that understand is priceless 💕

I did yeah - BFP for her! Absolutely over the moon!

@willithappen awww, that's brilliant news. So pleased for her!
Pessaries are much more manageable than injections 🤣 But people aren't exaggerating about the mess 😳
I'll find out tomorrow when I'm in. If the decide I need a day 3 transfer they'll phone in the morning, otherwise it'll be an afternoon update and Wednesday transfer. Hopefully it'll be a long morning waiting for the phone!

@pixelflower how are the nerves doing with waiting on the day 3 update? I won't lie that wait between day 1 and 3 was horrendous for me. More chill this time but maybe tomorrow I'll panic more. I'm at working from 5am tomorrow too so gonna be a long day!

@willithappen I'm not bad today and don't know why. I've run through the three main scenarios in my head but there's nothing I can do apart from wait. Going to get up tomorrow and be ready to go for transfer if I need to. That is going to be a long day! Is that your second job?

@LabradorMum yay that's come round so quick!! The tablets didn't affect me mood wise at all so hopefully you are the same

@pixelflower I was the same and was suspicious of feeling so good haha. I'd say yesterday and today I'm back to normal/pre injections feeling. Considering they went on about OHSS so much and my friend was totally wiped for two days after I was really fearing feeling horrendous but so far so good! I think the clinic took every precaution to avoid me getting OHSS and I'm so greatful for everything they did because it seems to have done the trick! Maybe I'd have even got a fresh transfer if it wasn't for that fluid in my lining! Ha

I know @pixelflower @willithappen come round super quick. First baseline scan is in just under 2 weeks.

It all happens so quick once that baseline scan come rounds too. I honestly feel like stims side of things just flew by!

@pixelflower good luck for your update call tomorrow! Let me know when you hear! The nerves are kicking in for me now for the day 5 update. I'm praying we have something to freeze

It really does pass so quick once you get started, and I took longer than first expected.
I wish I could just sleep till the call. Thinking of a cheeky G&T tonight incase they call me in tomorrow 🤣 Don't think I've had a drink this year 🤔

Decided against the g&t and had a Pepsi Max instead 🤣
I know it's just after 12 but assume that wouldn't phone now for transfer today. Doesn't help the nerves as could mean got at least one looking good for Wednesday or none.
Max of 4 more hours of waiting, I can do this!

Feel like I can't get anything done today as I'm just sat by waiting at the phone. No call for me yet either :( the wait is inteeeense

@willithappen 😞 I'm going about doing things but got my phone in sight at all times incase I don't hear it. Such a nice looking day but don't want to go for a walk incase I have to take the call out by a field.

@pixelflower they must have a busy day. I imagine lots of egg transfers and collections maybe!
I'm the same, dogs are going to have to wait until I get this call before we go out!
