Thanks everyone. You are all right, I shouldn't be righting them off just yet. I was just so emotional yesterday, I couldn't stop panicking.

@jm2020 how long do you have left into the tww?

@hopeful182 - I had 10 eggs collected - 5 immature and 2 abnormal. 3 fertilized but only 1 top grade and the other 2 didn't make it to freeze. I was so upset with only 1 out of 10 making it but like you said it only takes 1 and I'm hoping and praying this little bean sticks with us. My test day is next Sunday.

Thats good to know, hopefully I will end up with at least 1. Can i ask, and you hmget tell me to keep my neb out, the 2 which didn't make it to freeze, did you do a fresh transfer? X

I’ve just been in. I had 10 on my left and 5 on my right all ranging between 7-10mm. I can’t help but feel really disappointed and I don’t know why?! He said he wants to get around 8/9 eggs which he said from the beginning I guess. He said he wants good quality eggs rather than stimming to get more, does this make sense? I wish I didn’t worry about EVERYTHING! They put me on half the dose I was on last time too so maybe I should just be relieved. Oh I don’t know. This whole process is so hard 😭

First meriofert and fostimon last night. Husband is a gem and does it for me.

Got another three days of this one injection a day and then I move to two injections a day with something else in the morning.

I'm high ovarian reserve so I'm more at risk of OHSS so I'll be monitored every other days, maybe everyday towards next week.

Hi @Raggity19 those are still good numbers! I know it is hard to get disheartened - They told me we should get aroung 15+ eggs and only ended up with 10 i was gutted! Are you with create? I know they like to focus on quality rather than quantity.

@ivftake1 Yay for your first injection! Aww bless him atleast he might feel abit more involved. When I did my injections my husband used to clean my belly with the wipe and get the needle ready haha but he wouldn't inject me lol!

So ladies - I don't know whether to panic or not - Just been to the toilet and had a bit of pink on the tissues when I wiped. I'm 7dp3dt. xx

Thanks @jm2020 I’ve just been for acupuncture and she’s sorted me out. 8 eggs would be amazing, I need to be grateful!! This could be a good sign, implantation bleeding?? Xx

Hello all!

A little late to the party (and my first time posting!).

I'm starting on a short protocol tomorrow on our first ever IVF cycle. We had our initial appointment back in July so just eager to get started now and see how it all goes! My AFC has only been 9/10 so not expecting oodles of eggs but hoping that we'll get some good quality ones. First scan is booked for Friday to see how it's all going.

Well we ended up with 1 blastocyst today which is going to be frozen. We had 3 which were almost there (2 apparently slightly better than the 3rd) so we are letting the better 2 grow for another 24 hours to hopefully get to the blastocyst stage. The 3rd we ended up taking a gamble and had that transferred today. I am accepting that it is unlikely to stick (due to getting the alternative trigger shot it doesn't prep the womb lining as the HCG trigger shot does) I don't want to regret it tomorrow, if the other 2 don't get to where they need to be, and we could have given a fresh transfer a go.
Worse case scenario is we have the 1 blastocyst there to do a FET when my body is a bit more normal. Haha.

Hi ladies hope everyone is well sorry I’ve not caught up I’ve spent the last couple of days a worried mess mainly on google regarding these average embryos but we do have 1 good one which hopefully will be transferred at 11 today! Haven’t had any update as yet but hoping for good news. I think it’s harder this time as I know 100% I can’t do this again and I’ve come to accept that but it’s bittersweet as well. Anyway let’s see what today brings xx

@hopeful182 pleased to read your update and good luck for testing - you just never know! An then you have the good quality one banked as well so that’s great. Hopefully the other 2 catch up today as well! Again, what a rollercoaster! Xx

@Raggity19 I was the same on the stims. Majority of the time I was ok but I did have some out the blue up an down moments that even I was surprised by hahaha xx

@Raggity19 Sounds like things are progressing nicely, those are good numbers - if you get 8 lovely, mature eggs that would be brilliant. Are you going for another scan in the next day or so?

@hopeful182 I was in the same position as you, waiting another 24 hours to see if a couple of stragglers caught up, which they did. Hope yours do too, but either way best of luck with the one you had transferred already and hurray for the one you have tucked away in the world's most expensive freezer!

I had a scan yesterday which was fine - lining thickening up fine as expected - and a blood test yesterday and again today to check for ovulation. When I spoke to them last night they thought it would be either today or tomorrow (hence all the tests!) so transfer on Sunday or Monday...eep!

Thanks @raxel , and good news re your scan. I’m just worried I’ve worked myself up so much that there’s no chance of it working 😔 I haven’t been able to calm myself down this week. I’ve just kept thinking about the call when they told us no eggs fertilised and convinced the same will happen again. I know i need to be positive but it’s so hard

Thanks for thinking of me ladies 😊it went great! In fact more than great, after me panicking about the embryos we ended up with 7 blastocysts!! I can’t believe it! So 1 4AA has been transferred, then a 5AB and a 4BC has been frozen and the other 4 are still developing so tomorrow they will decide what to do with them. I’m so happy! In regards to the transfer, they couldn’t get the catheter in at first but swapped it an then it worked but I just feel so relieved I had tears in my eyes. Just shows you the difference in a day 3 to day 5 in terms of embryo progression. To top it off as well, when I came out I got offered 2 jobs through work (I was at risk of redundancy) and now have to decide which one I want. Today is a good day 😊😊😊
