@ivfhope3 no you definetly haven't scared me, in a way its good to hear what other people have went through, as we know everyone is different and it kind of puts my mind at ease in a weird way. I love a people to be honest anyway, sugar coating things (sometimes) makes me worry more.

I can only imagine that you do feel scared of it happening again, but on the flip side there is every chance it will work just as much. Suppose concentrate on the positives, we all know the negative side. Sending hugs.

@raggity19 good luck with your stims tonight, you will be fine.

Work wise I have put my self restricted at work (through supervision and occupational health of course) I work as a police office, front line 24/7, so I know I would be in close contact with people, and have been. I was supposed to start in March but that was postponed obviosuly. I was able to start my first cycle at end of July, once being put restricted 14 days prior to taking the meds. I spoke to my bosses and I just said this was the most important thing I will do in my life and I cannot risk stopping treatment if I get it. (I am 38 with no children, OH does not have any children either) They have been very understanding. The work thing is a personal decision, you just have to look at the pros and cons. Wishing you all the luck for whatever you decide, and for the start of this process. Xx

Thanks for your well wishes ladies I had my scan and only a slight improvement from Friday but they showed me the graph and it has gone up. Anyway they rang me before and I’m booked in for collection on Thursday so one more stim tonight, cetrotide in the morning and trigger tomorrow night! It’s all go...now to find that positivity 😂

I had my final scan today, 35 follicles! (19 between 15 and 25, 16 between 10 and 14) looks like they might have to freeze them, well as long as I have good quality ones. I have my trigger shot tonight which is not the usual one as I am massively at risk of OHSS now. I was a bit upset a fresh transfer may not happen, but I suppose the Dr's know whats best. Xx

@BrandyM day 10 today and should have come on on Friday sans buserilyn... pfffft... I have a sweet urge so hoping that it won't be much longer...
Although otherwise it's been ok, drinking lots and started getting dry lips the last couple of days, have you started yet?

Fingers crossed a good majority of them are of great quality! Yes the Drs would defo know better on fresh vs frozen but your chances of success with that many follicles is looking amazing either way! Xx Good luck 🤞🏽

Is it bad my friend who pregnant she found out just before I had the ivf an then obvs the miscarriage. She's asked to meet up. As much as I want to I just can't. Is that just me or has anyone felt like this before. Is not that I'm jealous, I don't even know

@Freezerbump I was always a week late on burselyn both times.bless you I feel you.. hope you get it soon an have a little realise for you

@Raggity19 glad your scan went well and happy stimming! Re work wise, I think it's a good plan if you can take a couple of days off around EC. I haven't been through EC before but I'm anticipating the need to rest and relax for a bit after the procedure so I've told my boss about it all and that I'd be taking a few days here and there especially around EC and he's been very understanding. Didn't really want to tell anyone about it but felt it'd make my journey a lot easier if I let him in on what I'm doing. My job is desk based and now a 100% from home so that helps a little as well.

@MF1981 most of mine would be in November so hope you stay on here :)

@Freezerbump starting down regulation on 21st October. Seems ages away so keeping myself busy at work and following/ learning from all of you here 😊

@hopeful182 wow!!! That’s amazing! There’s some evidence to suggest that frozen transfers can be more successful so might not be a bad thing. Do you feel uncomfortable? What dosage of stims were you on?

@Freezerbump think I came on day 11 last cycle so hopefully by tomorrow for you!

@ivfhope3 no don’t feel bad at all - just be kind to yourself. This process is so, so hard and you have to do whatever it takes to keep yourself ok. If that means withdrawing a little from things that might make you sad then I think that’s ok. I feel your pain though, I cannot get over how many pregnancy announcements there’s been recently.

@BrandyM I was planning for EC 17th which is the first Saturday of half term so will have the following week off but just conscious I might need next week off too haha. I’ll see how I go I guess. How are you doing?

How is everyone else? The clinic called earlier and they want me to start stims tomorrow instead of tonight 🤷‍♀️

Last day of Norethisterone today. Then wait for my period, and then I start all my proper drugs.

@ivfhope3 My EC is at 11 on Wednesday. You are right, the Drs do know what is best, I just was disappointed it wasn't going to happen this month, but I will do whatever is advised for the best result.

As other people have already said, you are allowed to feel that way about your friend, and if you need to withdraw a bit then do it, just look after you for now.

@Raggity19 I feel a little bloated, a little pressure but nothing that would have made me think it was OHSS. Hope things are going well with you.

@mctm123 good luck for EC on Thursday. That extra day will be worth it.

Quick question for you, I read on the other chat that you mentioned the PPC? (Prepayment prescription certificate). I don't know much about it but very interested. Does it only apply if you're funded by the NHS or will it work in self funded scenarios too?

Thanks for the well wishes @BrandyM and for asking how my skin is that’s kind of you. It’s still crazy but I’ve told myself it is what it is and if I have to wear a bit more make up for the time being so be it! Good luck with your upcoming cycle, it will soon be here don’t worry! Xx

Which clinic are you with?

Do all clinics prescribe NET for the prep month? I get confused as to all the different treatment plans!
