How are you doing Mw050389? I had my bloods done today, 3 amps tonight and tomorrow and him to do his thing tomorrow ready for a scan Friday. Everything so far is on track for egg collection Monday but will know for sure on Friday xx

I just cant wait to get started but I am nervous to but I be OK hope your ec goes well love xxxx

I've seen on a Facebook group that it's a old wives tale of drinking 1 pint of full fat milk a day helps your eggs grow so I'm not sure if this is the reason why but 2L of milk a day is alot 😬 xx

Sorry I missed a word out 2liters of water a day and 1 pint of full fat milk the hospital told me to drink it it really good for the egg somthing to do with the fat in it they said xxxx

Oh they never mentioned anything to me apart from water which I drink alot of anyway but I do have milk throughout the day anyway but ill make sure it's a pint from now on 😂

I'm there on Friday for my bloods and a scan. I do hope everything goes well for you! You'll have to let me know how egg collection goes because that's the one thing I'm anxious about! Have they told you to take anything in? Is this my excuse to buy a new dressing gown? 😂 xx

@Mw050389 owww not long at all so excited for you when I was in yesterday they said parner waits outside and someone has to be with you for 24hours afterwards. @Nattx i love dressing gowns going to tell other half i have to have one for hospital he already bought me full outfit comfy clothes I told him I needed for ec but I just wanted them so made the hospital bit up. If my period comes this weekend I am in on Monday for baseline scan and bloods if not and I come on Monday then in Wednesday then all go xxxxx

I cant wait now! Yea he has to wait in a room but can join you when you come round a bit better and they said they hadn’t been letting partners in for transfers... I asked if I needed anything she said no and to just wear comfy clothes for coming home, just says a pair of slippers on the letter you get with all the info on! No deodorant or perfume or false nails, no nail varnish on fingers or toes and no jewellery... so I’m getting washed the night before with some simple soap and shampoo, then nothing in the morning. Same for the other half, then he’s gunna do his sample right before we leave. They give you a time for egg collection and ab arrival time 45 minute before that x

Just wondering if any of you are planning to take any time off work for ec and when they transfer back. I'm still trying to decide what to do x

@Racs83 the nurse said to me I'd need atleast a week of rest after egg collection so to let my work know. When I go on Friday and they confirm I'm definitely in for egg collection on Monday I'm going to ask them to write up a letter to give to my work xx

@Nattx ok thanks. I've been keeping work up to date with everything so far so they shouldn't have a problem. I am working from home at the minute anyway so will see what happens. I'm due to call next week when af starts for next steps so hopefully they go through it all then anyway xx

I’ve been shattered and uncomfortable so I’ve been working from home yday and today got leave of absence in for tomorrow and Wednesday and put holidays in next week then working from
Home for 2 weeks as I get stressed quite easily in my job 🤣
