Can I ask how often you had to go in for scans and bloods before ec? Xx

I had my baseline scan on Wed 14th then blood tests every other day apart from over weekend so if it landed Fri I'd go Mon up until Fri 23rd. The only scan after the baseline was also my last on Fri 23rd to confirm egg ollection on Mon 26th. So expect it to be like a second home while during stims x

Sounds great fun. At least it isn't loads of scans. I can deal with blood tests 😊. Kinda looking forward to tomorrow. Can't believe we are finally here 😬 xxx bet you're looking forward to tomorrow too 😂 xx

@Racs83 I hope the scan went well? I'm on the way home now, the transfer was completely fine the only thing I felt was the speculum so you guys have nothing at all to worry about 😊 The embryologist was really excited about the embryo they have put back in, it was actually developing nicely into a blastocyst already which they said was really good considering its only day 4🤞 they've given me some lubion injections as extra help for implantation along side the pessaries, 1 every other day 10 in total so expect a few more injections afterwards. Advice given was 1 pint of blue milk every day until testing, take it easy but not lie around all the time and alot of laugher which I can manage with that so heres to 2 weeks of that! They also take photos of the embryo, it being transfered back in and a time lapse video of the embryos developing which is a nice keepsake. Sorry about the long essay, just want to keep you informed of what to expect 😊 x

I don’t have injections just 3 pessaries a day and 4 Estradiol a day ... shows how different everyone’s protocol is! X

@Nattx yeah scan was fine had 14 follicles on left at 5mm and 12 on right at 4mm which seemed ok I think. Waiting for them to ring me now later to confirm how many menopur amps although she said it would probably be 4. Said I was on course for egg collection as expected so that's good. Didn't get home until 1:30 considering we were there for blood tests at 9:15. Long morning but worth it. Thanks for that info. Glad everything went well for you. Just had a phone call to say 6 embryos are now little frosties in the freezer, over the moon with how well they have done! 🥰
@Mw050389 definitely! I had no idea I was getting anymore injections until they came in afterwards with a prescription. Maybe it is something they give to women with PCOS, god knows 🤷‍♀️
@Racs83 tell me about I am absolutely shattered im debating on having an hour nap on, haven't stop yawning since I got back 😴

Just had confirmation to start from dr and I'm on 4 amps today sat and sun then back Monday at 8:50 for bloods xxx

@Racs83 I found the menopur liquid stung a little going in but nothing painful or anything. I bet you're excited! We are just on doing the first Lubion injection now apparently they sting but cannot be as bad as the fyremadel, I hope! 🙈😂 x

@Racs83 I am in on Monday for bloods at 8.40 we always seem to be near each other dont we. I been on 3amps since Monday still on that and start fyremadel Sunday morning and antibiotics. @Nattx i do feel like a pin cushion but hopefully it all worth it xxx

@Hoping1 we most certainly are. Might actually bump into each other this time lol. We don't start antibiotics until the 5th so a little wait for them. It's crazy to think we're potentially less than two weeks away from collection now. Woo hoo 😂🤣 xx

@Racs83 aw god I did the mixing first time and although I had the training and he didn't he was so much better at it so his job was mixing and injecting. Said it made him feel like a doctor.. 😂 I'm glad it went ok for you last night!
@Hoping1 I found the fyremadel abit more tougher to inject than the menopur simply because the needle is abit thicker and I didn't feel it was as sharp as the yellow ones and they're pre made injection so you can't swap the needle over so I felt it more but it's nothing us girls can't handle! It made my skin afterwards itchy and red so if you get that too don't worry it's normal. I've been food shopping today, they told me to take it easy but don't just lazy around all day so trying to be as normal as possible whilst still taking it easy, he did the lifting and the walking is apparently good for you. I got some nesquik in to mix abit in with some of the blue milk I need to drink since transfer, 200ml of that goes down so much nicer and use the rest on my breakfast xx

@Nattx done the fyremadel and they do hurt more then others but done it xxxx
