IVF&FET June/July cycle buddies

Hi, we are starting a FET this month after a bit of back and forth with the clinic. Start downreg on Fri with ET hopefully first week of July. Wondering if anyone else cycling around the same time? X

@Rovera12 it's usually about 10 days post taking it (I think) so that is 3-4 days post 5Dt. I'm sure everyone is different but not sure it would mean anything about your fertility if you broke it down quicker. Not long now 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Hi @claireabell10 now are you doing? I would hold out as long as you can to avoid uncertainty. The fact tests are so expensive keeps me sat on my hands!

Oh @07hopesanddreams I'm so sorry, are they aware of the ivf? as you have the same protections as a pregnant women until, I think, 2 weeks after negetive test

My little meltdown continued all yesterday, I just couldn't stop crying. Then I had some periody cramps and I realised period would be due yesterday and I was acting so PMT. So that made me feel shit. God knows.3 says until test, just want to know now. I keep poking my boobs, feel they're less sore too

Hi all ,I had to test as I was having sleepless night and worried as hell.
It’s good news for me I tested 11dp5dt first time in 7years seeing those line in few seconds. I pray it’s for real . I had to check the expiry date for the test strip to be sure.
OTD is tomorrow.

@Parkandride no work don’t know I’m going through IVF treatment. Should I be telling them? Might have to do a bit of research on that.

@07hopesanddreams I don't think you've got anything to lose, there's a bit about the protections here www.acas.org.uk/your-maternity-leave-pay-and-other-rights/having-ivf-treatment as they don't know I don't think you could say you're being targeted because of the ivf but they need to make sure you're not discriminated against becuse of it.

Congratulations @Rovera12 that's fantastic news! It's so surreal seeing two lines after so long isn't it. I used the same taste on 10dp5dt and my line was super faint and came up after 10 minutes (if you remember I thought it was negative). Yours looks nice and strong though! X

@Parkandride the not knowing and periodish symptoms really is terrible. I tested 3 days early this time purely for my mental health. In general I'd advise not testing early but sometimes it is for the best. I was glad I did as even though i thought it was negative I felt better for knowing. It has also meant that I know it tried to implant before my period started which is useful information for next round. Just do what is best for you and look after yourself. I really was close to losing my mind. X

Today was my OTD and I got 2 proper lines for the first time and on my 3rd IVF fresh cycle. Its obviously very very early as my clinic confirmed I’m 4wks 3days today and I have a scan on the 5th Sept to check its viable, in the right place and hear a heart beat if everything is going as it should. Fingers crossed a lot can happen between now and then but hopefully it all the the little one growing. In shock/disbelief is an understatement.

Something wonderful to focus on while going through the joy of redundancy as well!

Yes I have to wait till tomorrow to let the clinic know, I have no symptoms at all. @Parkandride , We had to discard our 5ab embryos because we where told we won’t get a free fresh cycle of this failed. I am over the moon.

@SpyroC yes I remember, this came up in few seconds still unbelievable . My clinic don’t do beta , I might go private later today or tomorrow.

@07hopesanddreams wow that’s good news am so happy for you. All will go well with your pregnancy I pray.

@07hopesanddreams I'm sorry to hear about the redundancy.

As @Parkandride said, you do have legal protection (I think it's from transfer until either birth or 2 weeks after an unsuccessful test if I remember correctly) so it is definitely worth mentioning it to your HR department. Any discrimination against you under these circumstances would be on the grounds of sex discrimination. It can't hurt anything to mention it.

Thank you all for you congratulations, all extremely unreal right now. Will take some time to sink in and the scan will be the icing on the cake so to speak if everything is ok

Totally understand what you mean, I’m still in disbelief and very scared as well. I had another blood test done yesterday and the hcg has doubled thankfully. First appointment and scan scheduled for 2 September. Hoping and praying everything will be ok

Just wanted to update. I'm now at goal weight and am waiting for clinic to ring next week with timetable.

I hope everyone has got the results they want.

2 days until I test. Still bloated, sore boobs, heart rate up a bit but last time I felt sick and dizzy and that was nothing

@KittyFoster nice to read your bloods came back good. I was going to have it done privately, my clinic don’t do blood test. Luckily I called my Gp and asked for a blood test, my clinic said they could request it. I have picked up the slip and have it done at a sister GP that opens on Saturday. 🤞

@KittyFoster I did it Saturday morning , called Gp on OTD as re heated by clinic to inform them to continue my prescription of cyclogest and lubion.
I told my Gp I want a blood test too as I can’t go to the clinic to request for it. She dropped the test paper with the receptionist which I picked up Friday, and had the test Saturday .
I will ask my sister to help me check the result if it’s out by tomorrow as she works under the same trust.

I was planning on having one done at my work place as I can request it as urgent.

I having been feeling good, except few hours ago I am feeling very tired and sick . I don’t think I can sleep tonight, I might need a sick bowl by my bedside😥.
