Think I'm going to get some coq10 too, its one of the few things I haven't tried haha.

This AF is awful, did any of you notice it being worse for you since starting clomid? Could just be a coincidence I suppose!

@Lottiedot I’ve noticed my period pains Have increased and boobs hurt for a week before AF comes!

@Sylva123 @carleygh what dose C0Q10 do you take I’ve looked at the supplements you both use and there’s diff dosage and don’t know which one to go for? I’m getting some for OH to take- he’s thrilled 🤣🤣 xx

@Loziliz75 the minimum advice is 600mg, tablets are usually 300mg and I take 3 a day :)

It's good for egg quality too x

I'm 10DPO today and noticed the tiniest amount of pink in my CM when I checked it (wasn't there when I wiped or in my underwear) so guessing it's the first sign of AF as last time before clomid my luteal phase was 11 days. But I've only ever ovulated once! Was really hoping I'd get lucky on my first clomid cycle 😞

@Loziliz75 & @Carleyxo I take the Pharma Nord ones that they recommend in the "It Starts With The Egg" book. I take two a day. I'm going to stick with these now and put up with the cost because I don't want to confuse my body! I'll check out that celebrity blog though, I'd never heard of her. Carley yes it's my 2nd medicated cycle. First one was clomid & this one is letrozole. Hope your scan goes ok! Feels so weird not being scanned this time around.

@LottieDot my period was actually way lighter on clomid... But sadly it didn't work for me so maybe that's why! I normally have really achey boobs etc each cycle but had nothing at all on clomid. So weird!

Ohhhh interesting yes definitely stick to those! How long have you been taking them for? I think she was on celebrity BB you may recognise her. @Sylva123

I've been taking them 4 months @Carleyxo so it's probably best to just keep going as my body is probably wondering what on earth is going on with all these weird things I'm taking all the time. I read that it takes 3 months for it to improve egg quality.
I just found that celebrity's blog. Interesting that she was taking DHA as well. I've just started eating fish so am hoping that'll give me more of that.

How long have you been taking your Q10? I don't feel any different on it, do you? I was hoping it would give me an energy boost!

Oh yes there's no need to change it either. I've been taking it about 5 months I reckon. I feel no different at all 😂 yes I take the DHA too need to order some more too @Sylva123

@Sylva123 so strange that it effects people differently, AF is definitely heavier this month! I'm also not getting any scans this month as apparently they were happy with how my body responded last month they dont feel the need to check. Whilst the scans are inconvenient I think I'd feel better having the reassurance!

@LottieDot I wish I had the option of scans but literally got told take the tablets get bloods on day 23 each month and see you back in clinic in February 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️. I don’t feel my periods are heavier but got worse symptoms like my boobs killed for a week before AF and period pains were worse!

@carleygh thanks for tip in the blog, I’m gunna try the supplements she recommends on it, anything is worth a shot right?!

Oh yes @Loziliz75 anything is worth a shot haha I just bought the cough medicine @Sylva123x told me about - when did you start taking it and for how long for?

@LottieDot I feel my symptoms are a little worse my boobs hurt and I get the cramps but not too bad.

I only get a scan the first time and then again when they represcribe it. I find it crazy they don't scan you @Loziliz75 what city are you in? What about hyperstimulation?

@carleyxo I read to take it a couple of hours before dtd so I just did it each time even though I had negative ovulation test. I’m in Doncaster, I’d never even heard of scanning you until this forum?! Xx

I just did some googling on the medicine and it says 5 days before ovulation and including the day of ovulation so I'm going to give that a go. I also had to check if didn't have certain ingredients in as apparently that can be bad 🙈 oh the joys of google...

I'm in Southampton and yes they are really funny with scans and making sure they do them incase you get over stimulated. What dosage are you on? I was only on the lowest x

@carleyxo I’m on the lowest too 50mg. It’s crazy how different each place is with what they offer services and scan wise. Xxx

Isn't it just... the same with IVF entitlement. I would be entitled to one but up north further it's three rounds @Loziliz75 x

@Carleyxo Wow only one round?! I think it’s two from where I’m from for IVF that’s why we opted to try clomid first then if it wasn’t successful then to go to ivf. xx

It's so crazy how each town varies with whether they scan or not. I'm in Croydon and they don't fund any IVF here at all, but they do loads and loads of scanning with the clomid. There's a website called Fertility Fairness which campaigns for fairer treatment across the country, which I think is much needed!

Yours should be fine @Sylva123 but I'll attach the screenshot. It says to do for six days straight - the last day being ovulation day x
