Now I'm worried because I haven't dtd in like a week because I gave up. Will it matter? We're off out now for a drink but coming back and definitely will tonight and tomorrow and the next days 😂😂😂😂😂 thanks for your quick reply I feel so much better now. X

@carleygh I had exactly the same and expected a positive a week before I got one on CD17. Definitely try and dtd tonight!!

Nooo that doesn't matter. You'll ovulate tomorrow probably so get it in tonight, tomorrow and the next day hun! I'm so happy for you 😁 your body's done it on its own! That's amazing. Have a nice drink and relax. Update me tomorrow ha x

I’m not sure but she did mention about Christmas so I just assumed it shuts. I’m also away so it may clash. I work there so I always ask but I don’t think I’ll bother and try to enjoy Christmas (even though it’s very hard to) always thought I would be pregnant by now this time last year. I cried during my appointment like an idiot 😢 Good luck to everyone and best wishes to those with BFPs gives me hope x

@carleygh that's brilliant! You still have time. My consultant said to dtd 3 days in a row when you get a positive opk. And the Sperm Meets the Egg plan says the same thing - it's says 3 days in a row when you get a positive, then a day rest, then one more for luck. You've still got time! Fingers crossed it'll work for you and then u don't have to do the letrozole

@LaurenN23 I got my positive opk CD20 so you've still got time I reckon. I didn't really have any symptoms from the Clomid either except maybe the odd hot feeling during the night but nothing extreme.

@Sylva123 oh no, I don't think I will have dtd enough then according to that. We dtd the night before a positive OPK, the day of the positive but not after that. Do you think that's not enough??

Sorry @dragonfly1978 I didn't mean to worry you. I think you've still got a really really strong chance as those two days are the highest probability according to the apps. I'm definitely no expert as I'm two years in without a BFP.. it's just what my consultant said when she gave me the clomid, but they all advise different things. I'd still say you've done it the right time and sometimes we just run out of steam and can't keep going. I'm trying the Sperm Meets Egg program next month because whatever I'm doing just isn't working.

Sperm meets egg plan for anyone that wants it is: dtd every other day from cd8. Then when you get a positive opk do it 3 days in a row, then a day off, then one last go. (I just downloaded it on the Kindle and that's it in a nutshell). The "one more for luck" bit is in case you ovulate later than u anticipate

Congratulations on the positives ladies, love seeing this each day! I’m on CD 16 I’ve given in to temptation and gone against what my consultant said and started the cheap OPK’s but not had anything on mine yet not even a faint line 😬😩 hoping it will just be a late ovulation 🤞🏼 Xxx

Just did a clear blue one and it's negative 🙄 wonder if it's because I didn't long go for a wee when I tested? @CharlotteCx x

I wouldn't worry to much because on my first month I got a peak opk on the Friday at about 1 in the afternoon on a CB and then an hour later done a cheapie opk, and it was negative, but then later in the day done another and was pos again. X

Thanks lovely @CharlotteCx I did a clear blue this morning and a cheap one and both positive so hopefully tonight will it caught it and last night tonight and tomorrow is all that will count x

@carleygh did you manage to dtd lastnight? Did you read that sperm meets egg plan? I looked it up lastnight after @Sylva123 posted about it - very straight forward actually but it says 3 days after positive opk to dtd then miss a day then one for luck. Try it that way 😌 what I don't understand is why you have to dtd every other day from CD8 because if we know when we ovulate like me for instance around CD14 to 16 the sperm from CD8 to CD13 will be dead, what a waste 😅

@CharlotteCx thanks for asking- have an awful cold so busy googling if that will affect my chances of conceiving this month! Obsessed with googling!! How are you? Have you tested again?

@CharlotteCx in the sperm meets egg e-book she talks a lot about CM - basically saying if there's good CM the sperm can live longer and she talks about using a special type of cough medicine to make better CM! I've never heard of any of this before but my CM is rubbish so gonna try it next time. I think you dtd from cd8 to keep it "fresh" and also in case you ovulate early and to make sure there's some up there waiting. I'll try anything at this stage! Another BFN today. Will test once more tmw but then I have to just admit it's over for this month.

I’ve just read as well with the cheap ovulation tests I’ve been doing them first thing before work which Is 6am and the tests say to do it between 10am and 8pm 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ And I’ve not been waiting 10 full minutes for results I’ve seen the control line and thrown it coz no other line has appeared either 😬🙈🤦🏽‍♀️

@Sylva123 well that is very very interesting I can't say Iv ever heard of cough medicine helping CM lol. My CM is very hit & miss. It's funny though because this month if the first month of using pre seed, and my day 21 bloods have come back at 112.7 so I'm thinking - maybe If I'm pregnant pre seed is magic because it's helped the sperm along the way! Cos normally I'm quite dry. It's so disheartening seeing that BFN, next month use that pre seed, cough medicine, do the plan thing your talking about etc, and fingers crossed you'll get your BFP 🤞🏻

@dragonfly1978 oh bless hope you feel better soon! I'm a obsessive googler too 🙈 thing is I don't get anywhere with it cause whatever I'm googling for instance the 112.7 progesterone day 21 just comes back with the levels you should have on day 21.. like ok I get that but what does my levels indicate 🤣

I haven't tested yet I'm still only 8dpo, I'm going to go Asda on my lunch break and get some cheapies I think, and I'll order a FRER for Tuesday, as that's when the CB website said I could start testing from.

I’d be driving myself crazy with testing I’d have every pregnancy test going I think 😂😂 xx
