ET day today..anyone else

Hi So after my ER i had 9 eggs all mature and 7 fertilised with ISCI, on day 3 all 7 where still all be it 1 a bit slower. So i have been booked in today for my ET. I am so worried about this as my lining wasnt where it needed to be but at ER the dr said it looked fine but had not measured it.

So anyone that's had ET do they measure and check before you have the embryo implanted ? Then im so anxious already for 2ww xx thanks ladies

Also if anyone else is similar would love to wait with you

Yes, they check the lining thickness at the ET before they put the embryo(s) in. Best of luck today!

I had a FET yesterday they've never checked my lining on the day if transfer and this is my 3rd x

I had an ET on the 11th Nov and they've never checked my lining on the day of transfer...i think different clinics have different rules..hope all goes well for you today x

Thanks so much for the replies so we had 1 grade a transferred today and another grade a and c frozen. So now i wait for 11 days.

My FET is tomorrow. Second cycle after a failed ET last month. The clinic checked my lining at my appointment last week, and they were happy with it at 11mm.

@kell2126 I know, they always comment on how lovely and thick my triple-layered lining is. I wish I had eggs to match 😩

how'd you get on today, @HJF84? Hope all went smoothly and that you're relaxing nicely for the rest of the day. Mine went well but had a bit of an argument with DH a couple of hours after which I hope hasn't ruined it :(

Not as seamless as before @kell2126. I had a call from the clinic this morning saying my thawed embryo hadn't made it to blasto stage yet, it was still in morula stage. We transferred it anyway. We just have to hope it's a slow developing one and it will catch up. The best place for it to be is inside me, so we shall see. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and relaxing for the next few days (I'm off work!)

Tensions are high and with all the hormones running through your body, it's natural to feel argumentative. I hope it's nothing to serious. Maybe an excuse to have a make up cuddle tonight!

My test date is 6 Dec - when it yours?

Yeah the hormones do not help for sure. Nothing too serious – he's stressed out too so we're just pointlessly butting heads. Def will have a make up cuds tonight

Mine's Dec 11th! Seems ridiculously late but I'm on the NHS and at my clinic if you have a negative HPT on OTD morning, they don't even bother having you in for bloods, so I guess having OTD so late means they save money on blood testing non-preggers women because most will have got AF by then. Ah well, it is what it is as they say. And on to the 2ww...

Not long until test day for you all.i think mine will be on either the 10th or 11th..

@kell2126 Yeah that makes sense about the OTD, annoying though! Last ET, I had spotting so I didn't take a HPT and went for the bloods, and I knew it would be negative. This time, if I don't spot, I'll take a HPT so I'll know for sure, as it will be a working day for me.

@MrsLouB How are you getting on with the TWW?

Sorry I wasn't getting any notifications. My test day is on the 6th Dec which will be 11dp 5dt but I really want to test before hand....I have a POAS problem xx I don't seem to have anything go on just hope the little one is digging in deep x

Today I am so tired! A combination of not doing anything and the progesterone I'm sure. This time I'm on oestrogen too, as it was a medicated FET cycle. Anyone else feeling absolutely wiped?

@MrsLouB My test date is the 6th too. I'll probably POAS on Wednesday, as this time I want to know before rather than be told by the clinic

@MrsLouB and @HJF84 I'm getting on OK thanks – also exhausted – fell asleep on the sofa this afternoon. Otherwise the occasional abdominal twinge but nothing to write home about.

I'll be testing probably from Monday onward, which is stoopid early but I never can help it

@kell2126 lol that's me i actually want to test today ha and i know i shouldnt.but i made a promise last night to hubbie we test together no secret testing on wednesday .... so hard..

Ive woke up today with a terribly sore throat and generally feel like crap with a cold great! Other than that not much a few pokes and twinges xx

@kell2126 @MrsLouB Snap with the twinges! Although at this stage, I know they mean nothing. I've read that FETs can take longer to implant, so hopefully my little morula is now a blasto and ready to implant 🤞🏼

I'm going to try and nap today! I was exhausted by 6pm last night 😂

Well actually after saying that I woke up this morning with the worst sore throat and I feel awful, I then thought I had no cramps and bang that low down feeling...so not sure what's going on today. Also had TMI yellow CM after BM. which I suppose could be the progesterone.

I don't want to wish the days away but come on Wednesday x

I've had a cold threatening to come for the last week or so. I've woken up this morning with a definite runny nose. Trying not to sneeze too much, I'm convince it's going to stop implantation. I'm probably being ridiculous.

@HJF84 Oh bless you mine has eased but I am not myself I am 100% irritable today work is fun.

I thought the same thing about a cold coughing and sneezing and also would it reject the embryo, but people say your body lowers its ammune system to accept and embryo so that why we get colds at this stage !

So I hope this is the case xx

How is everyone? Im up at stupid oclock again as keep going into a deep sleep and then needing a wee and cant get back to sleep. Plus i had bad night sweats again last night, still have a sore is throat but nothing has come out xx AF pains too just dont know what to think oh and headache too x
