@CharlotteCx 13 DPO probably, but i guess realistically anywhere from 10-15 . CD 27 of a 28 day cycle.

CharlotteCx · 19/11/2019 13:11

@Goingbacktokansascity are you 28 days every month or a few days either side give or take?

Goingbacktokansascity · 19/11/2019 13:15

On letrozole I’m 28 every month except last month where it was 24

CharlotteCx · 19/11/2019 14:46

If ovulation has been confirmed by bloods scans etc, then you will deffinatly come on your period won't you? Obvs unless you're pregnant. Does that make sense? 🤣

Cos I still haven't come on AF, but I haven't tested yet as giving it til tomorrow. But I'm thinking oh maybe I haven't come on because of this or because of that, just putting it down to every thing else other than the fact I could be pregnant. Think it's cos I'm scared of the disappointment

Goingbacktokansascity · 19/11/2019 14:59

I’d just do the test and know either way. I think that’s true if you’ve ovulated your period should arrive in however long your luteal phase is and usually long cycles etc are due to not ovulating.

CharlotteCx · 19/11/2019 15:10

Yeah so I know I ovulated so something should be happening by now if Its en route. I'll deffo test tomorrow.

Goingbacktokansascity · 19/11/2019 15:13

I said I was going to hold off but we have to do pregnancy tests for work so actually I’ll be testing on the 29th whether I like it or not

CharlotteCx · 19/11/2019 15:21

You have to do pregnancy tests for work?

LaurenN23 · 19/11/2019 15:21

Hi everyone, have been helicoptering the thread, great to see some positive news - seems like so many from a few months ago have got their BFP which is amazing!

I haven't ovulated again since my fluke ovulation mid last month - trying to stay optimistic but already on CD21 and still no positive OPK :/ My prolactin levels are now 'worryingly' low - they've gone from 1060 to...6! so they haven't got the meds right :(. Seeing the consultant tomorrow to discuss next steps, hoping I can finally go on Clomid. How do you guys keep moral up day to day? Some days I feel optimistic and other days I book meeting rooms at work just to have a cry! haha!

Goingbacktokansascity · 19/11/2019 15:48

@laurenn23 try read success stories that’s what keeps me going! Atleast they’ve identified problems they can fix, it’ll take time but be completely Worth it

@CharlotteCx I work with radiation and the yearly limits of exposure are lower if you’re pregnant so you get a different monitor to wear and they’ll generally try and avoid putting you on cases with high levels of radiation

CharlotteCx · 19/11/2019 15:54

@Goingbacktokansascity ahhhh ok fair enough .

I can't remember what ur story is, do u have pcos ?

@LaurenN23 hiya, I agree with @Goingbacktokansascity, read success stories and just try n think positively, I know it's so easier said than done sometimes, you'll get there x

CharlotteCx · 19/11/2019 16:05

Also, last month I started spotting and then the next day come on my full flow. I know that your first full day of bleed is classed as ur CD1, is that the same as the luteal phase? So would I count the spotting as 15 days luteal phase or would it be 16 days when I had a full flow? If that is the case I'm due on tomorrow with a 16 day luteal phase which sounds really long?! Is 16 days normal?!

Beth804 · 19/11/2019 17:51

@CharlotteCx Your cycle sounds so positive, everything crossed for tomorrow!

@Goingbacktokansascity You're not out yet - test in a couple of days and it could be what you've been waiting for! 🤞🤞🤞

I've finally heard back from the consultant, apparently you can definitely take clomid without a period first, so I didn't need the norethisterone last time 🙄 She's upped me to 100mg with blood tests too so I'm feeling positive all over again! Just need to take a preggo test in the morning to confirm I'm not pregnant, then will be able to take the clomid tomorrow night. PMA this time 🤞

CharlotteCx · 19/11/2019 17:58

@Beth804 🤞🏻 ... do you no anything about luteal phases? Did u understand my last msg? Basically I don't no if I have a 15 or 16 day luteal phase because last month I started spotting on cd28 and then came on af on cd29 .. is spotting included in the luteal phase as a day? Like cd1 is full flow not when u spot.. I really don't know if I'm making sense right now but in my head I am 🙈🤣

CharlotteCx · 19/11/2019 18:11

Actually I think Iv worked it out .. the spotting must be classed as luteal phase for me last month as the CD1 is the start of the next cycle and would no longer be classed as being in the luteal phase once that starts. So I must have a 15 day one. Iv Been Googling it but it's not making sense, been racking my brains all day lol.

CharlotteCx · 19/11/2019 18:22

@Beth804 good luck for your next cycle hun! X

carleygh · 19/11/2019 18:56

@CharlotteCx please explain luteal phases to me haha!

@LaurenN23 I feel you it's so hard to keep positive but just knowing one day it will happen when the time is right helps me and like the others said reading success stories helps!

@Beth804 fingers crossed for you! Will it be your fourth round?

CharlotteCx · 19/11/2019 19:12

@carleygh it's from when you ovulate to the day you come on your period. The days between that and I was under the impression that your lp never changed, but a few ladies on here have said otherwise

BonTon · 19/11/2019 19:15

@LaurenN23 know completely how you feel. It’s very hopeless sometimes but my husband keeps telling me to stay positive! I just try to keep as busy as possible. Chin up! Xxx

Beth804 · 19/11/2019 19:46

@CharlotteCx Yes - that sounds right for your luteal phase! Is so confusing!

Beth804 · 19/11/2019 19:50

@carleygh Thanks hun x

Beth804 · 19/11/2019 19:51

@carleygh Will be 3rd round but 1st on 100 mg x

CharlotteCx · 19/11/2019 20:31

@Beth804 it so is! But I think that sounds right lol x

carleygh · 19/11/2019 21:25

Ohhhh interesting I just worked mine out and it differs by a day or two @CharlotteCx

Great that they upped it @Beth804 can I ask how come they did?

CharlotteCx · 19/11/2019 21:33

@carleygh from what I understand that it differs a day or two if you ovulate a day or two earlier or later but the LP actually stays the same? This is just from what I've read on google etc. X
