@Hopingforbabyd I use this technique as well. I think it's important to make wishes and letting them go and let the universe do its thing. It might be not scientific but it's interesting mind game. I watched John Kehoe videos trying to explain this concept scientifically. Glad to hear all is going really well with you!

@AliceAbsolum it's a good sign that 4 of your cycle buddies graduated , hope you'll be next!

Russkispy · 13/09/2019 10:58

All 15 are now morulas (day 4)! 😱🤞🏻which is insane! And tomorrow is the last day of their development before going to the freezer! We might have 15 frozen blasts! That’s beyond madness! I’m absolutely speechless and can't thank enough our lovely donor to give us this gift!

Viletta · 13/09/2019 14:06

@Russkispy whaaaaaa!!!! 15! That's amazing!! Keep us posted! When are you transferring?

Wesstywoo · 13/09/2019 17:06

@Russkispy that is amazing!!!!

Russkispy · 13/09/2019 17:29

@Viletta and @Wesstywoo thank you! Tomorrow is the D day for our 15 soldiers. Can't believe we haven't lost any along the way and the number 15 is terrifying in itself! In a nice way. Spoke with my doc today and was advised to PGS 1 extra embryo just to make sure everything is ok and they're nice and healthy. It will cost extra but don't care at this point! Transfer is scheduled for mid October. My doc thinks it will be natural FET cycle but have to wait and see when I go for the first scan on cd5 of my next cycle. If not, then will inject Gonal for a few days and transfer still mid October.

When I was at the clinic I had my AF but she still scanned me and saw a large cyst but said it would shrink by transfer. I'm now taking birth control pills and said the cyst will eventually go down.

Tomorrow is the D day for our 15 little soldiers. I'll let you know!

Hopingforbabyd · 13/09/2019 17:50

@Russkispy this is amazing!!! Lovely to see this today x

AliceAbsolum · 13/09/2019 18:24

@Hopingforbabyd Maybe you're my sign! A message of hope for sure. I think getting "there" might be a bay, or it might be coming to terms with never being a mum. I can't see either of those happening at the moment, but I don't have too, I can only hope 1 of them comes to pass.

@Russkispy Thats freakin amazing! 15 is epic at day 4. You could have about 8 kids from those Grin

AF is a week late after my last period which was the failed cycle one. Spent a few min shining a torch on a BFN. Bit tragic really.

5 weeks til Cyprus! Really hope we get a blast, if not, we have the donor back up. I have a coordinator on Whatsapp and its SO easy to communicate, send things over, etc. Definitely better than ringing up a clinic and waiting for the nurse to call you back, etc etc.

@AliceAbsolum someone said I'll have my own football team! 😱😂😂 we just want 1 really. Baby, not the team haha!
I'm already 43! God know when I'm supposed to have all those babies! Too far ahead to think this way.

Will be rooting for your IVF, crossing everything! Think around that time I'll be heading for transfer.

1 more update tomorrow! 😱🙏🏻🤞🏻

We got 12 good quality 5 day blastocysts in the freezer! Absolutely gobsmacked! I never ever predicted this great outcome! First milestone successfully completed. 2 of them biopsied and PGS tested and will get results in a couple of weeks or so.

I asked my coordinator to thank our donor, from the bottom of our hearts. God , wish I could do it in person!

I’ll be heading to our clinic in 3 weeks or so for my first scan so my doc can tailor our preparation for transfer. She thinks it might be natural cycle.

Hopingforbabyd · 15/09/2019 12:34

This is amazing news @Russkispy so so happy for you! Let's let the good times roll 😍

Wesstywoo · 15/09/2019 13:08

@Hopingforbabyd You're getting married in Cyprus! Oh wow that's fantastic. I love weddings. Before or after the baby is born?
Didn't realise the goddess stuff, I'm going to do some research into that.

@AliceAbsolum haha yes she is a goodun 😉 after baby is here. We've put it off for 3 years because we want them to be there too. It's a little place in paphos we have found in a little vineyard it's so pretty. We don't like bags of attention so thought this was the perfect way to celebrate not just getting married but all of the shiz that has happened along the way 🥰 x

Hopingforbabyd · 15/09/2019 19:23

2021 we're thinking 😁 x

Viletta · 23/09/2019 14:23

Hello, how are you all doing?

My friend has just given birth to her second baby.. I remember we started trying approximately same time, but now she has two and I am no nearer to having first.. she also changed jobs in between her pregnancies and earns more than me now while I decided to stick to my current job as they are so good at letting me work from home when I need to for my IVF appointments. I am very rarely sad or affected by 'baby bombs', but this time it made me sad.. she is also younger than me.

Hoping to get my ERA test in October.. financial aspect of things and the drag with the results is taking a toll on both DH and myself lately..

Hopingforbabyd · 23/09/2019 18:42

@Viletta I could literally of written this myself. I had a friend who was with her partner for only 3 months before the conceived their first and she had her second baby a couple months back. I remember being so envious but I always remember a spiritualist (yes my geeky spiritual ways strike again 😂🙈) who said he felt tension between us and that I would be on my way after she had "finished her path" I felt this was so unfair but low and behold he was right. I know these things are not necessarily true but for me I always clung onto the fact I thought he was right in some way. So when she had her baby recently I thought right it's my turn now!! Have you any movement on your process? What's the latest? I had my first midwife appointment and I was very honest with her that I've felt really anxious and my reaction is not what I thought. I thought I'd be elated and while that's slowly settling in it's still been very hard to accept that it's our turn now if that makes sense? X

AliceAbsolum · 25/09/2019 21:00

@Viletta ERA sounds like a plan. Very difficult that all of this is so expensive though. Hopefully it'll all be worth it.
A friend of mine is due back from her 2nd maternity leave in the time I have been trying. I won't be surprised if she has another one too.

@Hopingforbabyd I love your spiritual side! I know I'm waiting for a reason, I've learnt so much and changed so much in the last few years years, I'm glad it didn't happen 4 years ago!!
Can you say more about why you're not elated? Because you're not at 12 weeks yet? I don't think I'd accept it until then.

I'm on the pill, it's making me stroppy. I'll start stims in a couple of weeks. 3.5 weeks til we fly. Thank f*ck we didn't book with Thomas Cook!

@AliceAbsolum haha thank you! It keeps me going 😄🙈
I always remember once when we were trying and I thought I saw a line and I was like "oh my holy mother f*?!%er please let this be it oh my god!!!?!" I honestly thought when it was the real deal I'd have that exact same reaction so I was very surprised when me and hubby sat on the sofa and could barely talk because we were so shocked...of course we were over the moon but it was just a huge shock as we kinda just wrote it all off and thought the cycle wouldn't be a success. I think I have just allowed myself to get used to disappointment that I couldn't quite accept that it was actually real. Funnily enough (I sound SO ungrateful...maybe I should rephrase that because I know it's not ungrateful, cautious may be the better word to use 🤔) but today I woke up and felt so in love!! All night I could feel this tightening sensation in my tummy and when I got out of bed this morning I felt very swollen - this is usually a night time thing but it was first thing and when I looked in the mirror I felt I'd finally allowed myself to accept our new beginning. Today at 10weeks to the day, I have finally found my "elated" 😌 x

WorriedButterfly · 25/09/2019 23:10

@Hopingforbabyd that is such a lovely post, congratulations and thank you for keeping us all positive! x

Russkispy · 27/09/2019 11:35

We have 12 top quality blasts in the freezer. 2 of them were biopsied and PGS tested. I just got results back and both are healthy and no abnormalities detected. A huge relief and passed another huge milestone.
Next weekend I’ll be flying to our clinic for a scan, after AF next week, to check on the cyst and also determine whether I’ll have natural or medicated cycle before transfer in 3 weeks or so. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Hopingforbabyd · 27/09/2019 17:14

@Russkispy this is fantastic news!!! Absolutely over the moon for you and so excited to hear of your updates 😍 one of them is waiting for you! X

AliceAbsolum · 27/09/2019 17:54

@hopingforbabyd Lovely to hear :) xx

@Russkispy Thats soooooo amazing. 12 must be beyond your wildest dreams! 3 weeks is not long.

@Twiglet2353 How're you? Can't be long now?!
