Hi everyone, just had my first down regulation injection this morning with a scan booked for next Thursday. This will be the transfer of my remaining embryo. I had a little boy last year via ICSI so I know I've been very lucky already.

Anyone else starting now?

@Wesstywoo I am glad I don't have to wait that long as this is a torture.. trying to keep busy today but it is going to be difficult not to think about tomorrow.Hopefully the bleeding is a good sign.congratulations @Mathie2017

@Mathie2017 I just saw the pic of your test on the other thread - nice strong positive! Hopefully it's just the little bean getting comfy in there that's caused it xx

@LillyLeaf pregnancy test and I need to call the clinic whatever the result so they will tell me what to do next.

Just had a phone call from the embryologist, following my transfer yesterday, to say that they’ve been able to freeze 3 blastocysts.

Had 9 eggs at collection, 9 were mature and all 9 fertilised ...it was only today (day 6) that 5 aren’t deemed good enough to freeze. Much better than I hoped for as I’m old and overweight with PCOS!

I’m amazed really - my husband’s surgical sperm retrieval went badly, with them having to go in both sides, and saying the quality was really poor, I had every expectation of NO embryos at all!

....looking down the line though, if any of these blastocysts we’ve frozen aren’t needed in the future - do we just discard them? Can we donate them?

Didn’t sleep much last night so am overthinking everything!

@LillyLeaf I'm going to test the evening before just so I can be a bit prepared if it's a BFN - I'll then test again in the morning and head off to work

Yes @wesstywoo it really surprised me that it appeared that way and straight away-don’t think there’s any chance of twins when there was only one blast transferred back! To see the spotting this morning gave me a real fright after having such a strong BFP. Sorry you’ve so long to wait to test, hopefully your week goes quickly for you.

@LillyLeaf it’s just a HPT and I’ve to contact them just the same as @Guio. Wish they’d check bloods, that way at least they can see the Hcg levels.

Good news about those blasts @Cantrip. I wouldn’t concern yourself about what you would do with unused blasts right now. My last blast was frozen for two years.

As for me, blood tests should be done tomorrow but will do HTP first.

@Guio , thank you! Just had a shower/wash, and noticed a coloured discharge. Not brown. Too light. Not exactly pink. No flow. I used a tampon and there wasn't much to see it. Don't even know what to think of it. Never had it after any of my IUIs and while taking progesterone pills. Since this is my first IVF, I don't really know what to expect in 2ww, more towards the end of it.

@Russkispy and @Guio wishing you lots of luck for tomorrow. I really hope you get the result we all want! Rooting for you both

@Russkispy Given a few of us experiencing this hopefully it’s a good sign. Do you have any cramp? I’ve felt quite mild cramp but for most of the day, another tiny bit of brown on my liner this afternoon. It’s torture!

@Mathie2017 , don't have any cramps. Don't think I've ever experienced cramps!? And just feeling like AF is coming. Sick to my stomach but I think it's just nerves

The cramps feeling I have is like AF is on the way and along with the spotting has me very anxious but from what I’m reading it’s not uncommon. Fingers crossed!

Hi Everyone I got my BPF I am still in shock.i called the clinic and I will have a blood test today but it is not including in the funding so have to pay.is it early days for a blood test?they told me I can have one today and another one in a couple of days.

Oh my god that's amazing! I've checked my phone a 100 times this morning waiting for updates. Congratulations.

Thank you!first one in 2.5 years.i am quite pessimistic person so I worry that the worst is going to happen.

It's BFN for me. Of course gutted but soldier on. Waiting to hear from the doctor. Think will have to wait for a cycle and then start IVF again since we don't have frosties.

Following on from my BFN last Friday I have today spoken to the hospital and I will go in Jan for my frozen embryo and if this is unsuccessful then I have a whole new cycle of egg collection etc so I’m feeling pretty hopeful. Good luck to everyone x
