@Ginandtonic31 – super news re: scan ;) my left side was also slower than right (by some margin) but it worked out alright in the end…so FX for you x I am wearing very loose clothes, for the very reason you were uncomfortable with your jeggings…
@Beherenow32 - great your follicles are coming along nicely… sending you good vibes for Friday, maybe time for that bracelet to go under the pillow xo I am having acupuncture tomorrow because the acupuncturist said it could help strengthen the lining by encourage the blood flow and the chi flow…
@Cannonball8726 – thank you x trigger injection was not too bad at all – but I did watch a youtube clip to help remember all the details! I injected in my tummy, sitting down(nurse had said it is better sitting down) and used an ice pack (frozen peas) and it was fine
@Dia12 – good luck with ET on Wednesday xo totally get how difficult it is not to tell family, I also really wanted to tell my mother but she gets anxious and would have lots of questions so left it… I ended up taking Dh’s gown to hospital today – good job both similar build ;)
@CritterTamer – Good luck for Wednesday too…from what I understand, they transfer after 5 days if they think the embryo’s are strong enough to develop well and prosper outside for the duration…otherwise, 3 days…
@lopeylopez – thank you! Re: hot water bottle, I think the heat help blood flow to the area and stimulates the follicles - when I’ve had acupuncture, after sticking in the pins the acupuncturists put a heatlamp over the tummy to heat the womb. Whether it helps or not, I find it comforting and relaxing. I have only had one acupuncture session for IVF so far but have used acupuncture many times in the past. Food – again, no conclusive studies, but it is an area where we can have control in a process which is often frustratingly beyond our control…

@TheArtfulScreamer – congrats on the textbook lining ;) I only had 9 follicles too, but my consultant was quite happy

My news: I had EC today. The actual process was fine – we got 8 eggs but I have a masochistic immune system and was in a huge amount of pain for most of the day (not strictly EC related)…stayed in bed and listened to the radio…
