Egg retrieval this month anyone

Hello ladies,

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for the past 3 years, I am 28 years old. We are undergoing our first fresh round of IVF with ICSI. I started Suprecur injections last month and Menopur injections a couple nights ago and my egg retrieval if all goes well is in a couple weeks. I was just wondering if there is someone at the same stage as me?

@windy2909 this is wonderful so happy for you, it's good that your ovaries have had time to recover from retrieval, my nurse told me that that in itself can take up to 6 weeks. Please keep me updated. Not much to report this end 10+2 weeks today, think I was able to hear heartbeat on Doppler yesterday 😀 been playing the re riding of it over and over. Where about in UK do you live hun? Are you Work aware of what your gonna be doing? Xxx

I will do! Great you got to hear the heartbeat, that must have been reassuring! Can’t be long till your scan. Do you have a date yet?

I’m in Scotland and the sun has been making a (rare) experience, which is lovely. Yes my work know and have been amazing at giving me any time I need which helps a lot x

I finally have a date for transfer....it’s scheduled for Saturday. Really hoping and praying that it all goes to plan x

Thanks Becky. I’ve been laying low as transfer did not go ahead. They tried 2 times but it seems I have something obstructing catheter getting into my womb and I’m now being referred for an operation. Absolutely gutted 😢x

@windy2909 how absolutely frustrating for you! Do they have no idea what it could be. I'm so sorry, is your embryo ok are they able to re-freeze it? Xxx
