Egg retrieval this month anyone

Hello ladies,

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for the past 3 years, I am 28 years old. We are undergoing our first fresh round of IVF with ICSI. I started Suprecur injections last month and Menopur injections a couple nights ago and my egg retrieval if all goes well is in a couple weeks. I was just wondering if there is someone at the same stage as me?

Oh no! That’s an awful situation to be in! I can see that the line for today is faded. At least the wait for official test is nearly here and you can see what they say. I know you will have had raised hopes and I hope you get good news tomorrow. However, you have to keep in mind that many people are not lucky enough to get the result they want first time. I know if you get bad news it will be devastating but you have to remember you are still in a positive position for the future. You have frozen embryos, so more tries. Some people end up with nothing to freeze. Trying to help with positive outlook. Don’t know if I am being helpful though so I’ll end there! Still hoping for you x

@windy2909 thanks Hun, I think I just got my hopes up and have been envisioning a baby and pregnancy the past couple days. I just need to prepare myself that this might not happen this time round and look forward to a glass of wine which I haven't had in months lol. Obviously would prefer not to be able to have any wine for the next 9 months lol 😂 xxx

Yes, you’re right...be prepared for any news. However, there is a line on both tests, so you could well be pregnant! I know what you mean, would swap all the wine in the world for a baby and I love wine! Here’s hoping you’re off it for the foreseeable x

@windy2909 I am Hun but still cautious as my HCG is only at 65, so I have to wait until next Friday to ensure they are increasing and that it's not a chemical pregnancy 🤰 more waiting lol xxx

Yes this waiting game is not fun! What are the hcg levels supposed to be at this stage? May those levels continue to soar! Are you going to peeing on sticks from now until Friday? 😅x

@windy2909 I was hoping for 100 or more, my knowledge on hcg isn't that good to be fair, I'm gonna take a test every other day to see if the line gets darker xxx

@windy2909 Hi hunni, I just had my second beta. My Hcg has gone from 61 to 920 which they are happy with. She has arranged a scan to hear heart beat on Monday 23rd April. I just want to get to the 12th week as safely and as quickly as possible. How are you? Xxx

Hi Becky, that’s great news! Long may it continue! 23rd of April is not that long away....although I’m sure it will feel like forever to you. I actually sent you a pm earlier on in the week, just to check you were okay and because we are the only two people using this thread 😂. Glad everyone’s going well for you.

I had my review with consultant today. Very interesting to hear in more detail about fet and I got to question him about whether there would be changes to meds if we had to do a 2nd round. Nothing can happen till af comes.....never wanted a period to come as much in my whole life 😂.

Hey, I’m just waiting and waiting! No idea when af will come because I had prostap injection, which can delay it.

You however, are very officially pregnant. Hope you’re doing well and trying to relax as much as possible? X

I'm doing my best to relax hun, promise. I have a cold at the moment. My friend said my immune system won't be up to scratch because it's busy building a placenta lol. I have everything crossed that you soon will also be pregnant 🤰 so fingers crossed. Do you know how many embryos your gonna transfer? Xxxx

Keep up the resting! Thinks it’s quite common to get colds early pregnancy so you can take that as another good sign. We will put back one at a time. Both myself and hubby would happily do two but going with the advice of the experts x

We have a heartbeat 💗 when I saw it I just burst into tears 😭 😂 They are going to give me another scan in a couple weeks to, to put my mind at ease. How are things with you Hun xxxx

Hey @becky114! Good to hear from you! How are you keeping? Hope else is going well? I’m good thanks. Things are finally beginning to happen for me. Af was reaaaallly late....almost 8 weeks but is here now and I’ll start going in for bloods a week tomorrow for them to track ovulation for fet x
