IVF buddies September /October continued, heading into November & wearing VERY comfy stretchy leggings & trousers (perfect for Xmas too!!)

Aliona attached was our treatment plan, which was all done to coincide with our embryos being able to be released the week of that transfer, and my friend had to track her periods so that she called them with her September period so they worked it around then & it worked out perfectly for those dates but then when we had the second scan her lining wasn’t thick enough so we had 2 extra scans & two extra weeks so transfer was 11 days later than that plan. But we got that in July after she had been tracking her periods for a while. So about 6 weeks in all?

Minster so my period should start tomorrow and app Friday.. they probably gonna wait for December one then.. so maybe after xmas? All this guessing 😩 few more days

Rich Russian yeah 😂 skint as hell. Just really wanted to do something for myself. And off work so can stay home and hide from everyone.
Woke up to message “sorry forgot to take bin out”. Went to the kitchen—all over the floor 😡😡😡 going to cook this naughty puppy dog for dinner 🐶🐶

Ha!! Love the idea of you hiding away wrapped in bandages like a mummy! We’ve All been there with both OH’s and dogs!! Yesterday I couldn’t take puppy to have her 2nd jabs so I phoned OH to do it & said a MILLION TIMES you HAVE TO TAKE HER VACCINATION CARD OR ITS POINTLESS they won’t do it. Lo & behold he took puppy, no crate for his car, put her on his car seat, she was unsettled as never been in his 4x4 truck, weed on his seat & bet refused to do injection.

I could have killed ‘D’H! I was cuddling puppy in the evening though!!

Yes wait until Friday, as I don’t know how they do it for you, she had to Phone with Sep period then start tablets on day 21 if that cycle so they put your ovaries into down regulation so they don’t produce any more eggs. But that’s if you are doing medicated cycle though. If you use an app you could try work it out? X

LOL Aliona but no don’t cook the puppy !!! I am starting tonight with Gonal F & Menopur. Watched the videos as you recommended, like a good girl. On Friday I have my first scan and a blood test. On Saturday I am adding a 3rd injection in the morning Cetrotide, then scan/blood test on Monday and Wednesday. You fried your face? LOL you had a facial, was it the first time you had this one? I am glad things are moving for you as well sweetie , a bit more patience and you will be able to organize your life a bit better . I had to deal with the NHS as well at first and man it is frustrating as you don’t know what’s happening! I know they are doing what they can but man it is sooo annoying!!! So I am glad I had to go private in a way, minus the ridiculous sum to pay, I can send 50 emails a day if I please . Yes I do hope Harry is well also

Mister yes it is all happening and I am well ready for this! I am excited at the moment and tomorrow I will be on here going OMG I feel so crap! Lol lol I really hope not!

Minster2012 😅🤺 that’s the closet emoji I could find 😆 it’s not that bad. Just super red. I have done this 5 years ago and by day 4/5 it looked like I had 20 bruises all over my face. Doctor will be questioning my partner on Friday 😂
I don’t know what they do as they don’t like answering questions. I have my pessaries and abt 30 needles with no meds. Don’t have a clue what for 🤔
It’s not the mess that winds me up, it’s he knows it was important to take it out bcoz of chicken bones! She ate them and this means by tonight it will be 💩💩 nightmare.

Starlumiere My hands were shaking first time and sweat was pouring before first injection. Had a heartbeat somewhere in my throat 😅 but that’s only first time.
Lol frustrating nhs? Big time. Private not always better 😅 some didn’t even get cup of tea 😆 was it Rose?

Oh yeah, no tea if anything, our NHS we always go a bit early coz there’s free tea/coffee/hot choc & biscuits!! I’m a tight northerner! I don’t envy you tonight Aliona! 🙈💩

Minster lol here I am bragging about staying home without need to go outside with me kfc face.. guy down the road just rang asking to come in and help him tomorow in his cafe 🙈 feel sorry for diners tomorow. Bet most popular questions won’t be “how much bacon sandwich”, but “wtf is wrong with her face?!?” God 😩😩

A dnt understand one thing cz nurse sed a hv transfer on the 22nd nd dat ma clinic wer they do transfer guna ring me on the 22nd in De morning nd tell me wats wat... BT still dnt know wat tym a hv to b der.. B4 they rang me few day b4 transfer nd sed wat tym a must b der nd dat they will ring me again wen they take embryo out nd in the transfer day they rang nd say he the embryo doing.. Nd nw they just guna.ring on transfer day nd den tell me wat tym a must b der... Soo stupid.. Cz a guess they can tell meh any tym nd a just must b der fast..

aliona a have at home philips lumea laser cn a use dis during ivf etc?

Atik I can’t comment on that. Laser resurfacing (the one that burn your skin top layer) I did as I am not pregnant and not having transfer just yet. Also I didn’t use numbing creams. If I was pregnant then definitely wouldnt be doing anything just in case 🙃

atik that’s the same process as ours so try not to worry, even if it’s different to before, ours they called the day before to say the thaw had gone well & it had survived then they called the morning of transfer to say it was developing & to come in, in an hour!

Previously they had said they would call at around 8.30 & we would go in for about 11, but it was 8.20 & 9.30 & it happened, we were also late due to rush hour traffic but they didn’t put it in anyone else before we got there 😀

Plus there’s still time for them to tell you in advance of the 22nd

“Didn’t put it in anyone else” 😱😱 can you imagine?!? I mean human error is always present!!

My friend and I were like rose, trying and failing not to giggle, so we kept saying “keep that dish away from us or we’ll knock it flying by giggling” but it’s in a massive soft syringe!!

Minster BT they just surprised me cz b4 they rang day b4 nd told me wat tym to cum nd Den De next day they rang again to say abt hwz embryo doing BT De nurse told dat ma transfer is on De 22nd nd they guna ring me on dat day in De morning nd say wats wat... Dat stupid... Cz den a dnt know wen to wake up hv shower breakfast... Plus ma partner working so he need to know Wem to b here etc...

There’s time to sort it though Atik don’t stress so much! They’ll tell you roughly when they’ll call so you can get up before then & shower, can your partner not get the morning off?

I don’t know Atik, ours did to tell us that it had survived the thaw then again on the morning of the transfer

Just administered myself, with the help of OH, Gonal F and Menopur. Thank god for the videos!! All good but can feel already things happening. Was quite easy but hard at first to do it to yourself, but all good so far 😁. That's it I am in!

atik sounds like you are having a bit of trouble with your hosp, don’t be afraid to keep calling them and asking questions. I’m Nhs atm and I keep calling mine with questionsfigured I’ve paid into the nhs for all these years why can’t I ask as many questions as I want. Let us know how it goes Hopwfully transfer day is soon!

aliona hows the face today? I would love to have laser, I’ve had micro dermabrasion which worked somewhat.

I’ve looked into acupuncture and I think I’m gojng to start with that next week, realistically I won’t be starting the next cycle until jan (like you Aliona ).

Phantom of the opera 🎭was AMAZING ! Can’t stop humming the songs!
The DH loved it too! Although always a mission to get home so shattered today but totally worth it!

Well dbear, & star I was hyper hyper yesterday because I just couldn’t stop thinking about it so that’s probably why I was hanging around on here, sorry!! 😜 I was a bit fixated with it but couldn’t do much about it 😭😩anyways, one week to go, this time next week!!

Need to stay busy, trying to get gindog to accept a lead & walk & she just wants to play (can’t blame her!) but can only do that for 2 mins at a time. Might reorganise my linen cupboard! Have just ordered turkey for Christmas!
