Hi Ladies! Finally I will have my first IVF treatment as soon as my next cycle starts which I expect it to be more or less end of September/beginning of October. My periods are very irregular so I never know exactly. My consultant suggested antagonist protocol which I will receive in post soon. I am extremely excited but then realistic about the fact that it might not be successful first time.

How are you feeling ladies? When are you due to start your Ivf Journey? Fingers crossed for all of us fighters;-)

Epic catch up dinks OHSS sounds terrible - hope it gets better soon for you. Can you have some time off work? Will you have a scan soon? I think we will be the same about who to tell and when.

dinksandbinks Hey 👋🏼 Nice to see u back. I think I am feeling better but u never know, I heard it can get better before it gets worse. At least not dizzy anymore. Feel tired as hell. I don’t work in the office unfortunately and have 10 hours shift on my feet 5 days a week and now boss struggling with staff and wants me here Saturday too. I feel like death.
I can imagine how hard it is to keep it shut about pregnancy especially with family. My mum is killing me with “I want grandkids” but she knows nothing about miscarriage and nothing about ivf. Some days I really want her to know, especially now she is really unwell, but still it’s for he best. Unless there is a scan with a baby in my hands-I am keeping it zipped 🤐
As for your diet, I don’t think you should be worrying about that. If you tell me to stop eating sugar and potatoes-You are enemy number one 😂 oh and wine!
Well I hope each day will get better and better ❤️❤️

Only 6 of my blastocyst can be frozen apparently.

Minster2012 I know I sound crazy sometimes talking about my doggy, but she is amazing and helped us through the incredibly hard times and helped my partner to recover after brain injury where doctors said he would never walk or talk again. She was the only thing that could keep him calm first few month after recovery when he was getting used to being alive again. Kids are blessing but pets are amazing too. 😘 ps I hope they get on ok 😁 your pup and bigger doggy

Dinks - yh our last chance tru NHS.. Nd yh they gave us sum stuff to read nd website BT when a asked hwz my embryos with grade they r, if they take to transfer the best once or any of them they neva know anything.

Aliona - wen they took out ma embryo nd didn't survive they sed to normally cum for ma app cz they take other out nd if data one nt survive they will take another one BT dat will mean dat ma transfer cud b few h later..

Yesterday a had ma app. Again all documents to sign, sum vaginally swap. Nd scan to c if am ready for injection nd lining was 6.6 mm so they sed am ready nd obviously De nurse asked if ma period nt regular cz she c a hv polycistic ovaries a sed yh they always late lyk 1week... Then met nd ma partner had blood test to check if any of us hv his etc, got ma injection nd then in two weeks need bk to c if a cn start take all dis tablets etc to build lining. They told me dat 7 days after injection a shed hv period BT a hv always one day b4 app nd it's nt comfy at all having period (heavy cz dat the first days of period) siting der wide open legs flashing it in doctor face nd wen they take dis scan out its disgusting lollll
Same Ave got letter from clinic wer ma embryos r nd they sed we need pay till December £300 to keep embryos in ( dats will b bang 1year nd we tort they keep for 3 years nd den charge..) BT the nurse sed on next app a need bring dis letter nd they will check if we need to pay now...

Filip getting 6 to freezing is unbelievable!! That's really amazing. You must be chuffed to bits!!

Aliona God I would hate to be on my feet at work after the EC. I just sat on my butt for a week afterwards!! Can you get out of working Saturday too? I think you should take it easy if you can, it sounds like the EC affected you really badly. Glad you're feeling better, but like you said, it can get better then get worse again :(

Atik the FET process sounds so complicated! I'd almost rather go through normal IVF if we do it again (not that we can afford to... only one chance here grrr). Also we were told that we'd have to pay after the first year of embryo storage. Apparently it used to be longer, but they changed? Maybe the same happened in your area? They are obviously not good at communicating lol

I can't imagine having a scan while bleeding!! Omg. I'd hate it... the mess, the pain... aaargh.

Atikakck still had no call about how many they able to freeze ☹️ Panicking now

Dinks - we had 4chances tru NHS after egg collection a cudnt hv transfer cz Ave got ohhs so all over 8 embryos gone to b frozen but they count this as first chance so then a had already two FET first didn't work a fink cz straight away after transfer we did bedding awww.. Nd den after a was cleaning all house didn't rest... Den other worked BT 6week miscarriage so no its our last tru NHS, we tort dat it's 3 years storage free and after 3 years need to pay even our clinic fink dat, dats y they want ring der...

So now after Dia injection am "FAKE" pregnant? Lol is dat injection supposed to fool De body dat am pregnant to nt make any eggs etc? Lol

Atikakck Me also had first scan on first day of period but they said that’s what they were expecting. Not big deal. At least in this country they much more discreet than back home. I used to go for usual check up as a kid, u on the chair with your legs high up with no covers whatsoever and often facing the door and people coming in and out. So I am not worried about it 😁

dinksandbinks Don’t know babe, it’s hard to say no bcoz then I have deal with his unhappy face. But on other hand even 5 days atm feels like too much. Plus we all woman, coming home walking dog cooking cleaning, it’s double shift that never ends. We ll see what happens..

Aliona - maybe u give them a call, a new cn wait fo them call cz even they saying they will ring in De morning they end up ringing maybe abt 3 lol so a always giving them a call

Atikakck I ll give them chance till tomorrow. Hate ringing them, hospitals they are hard to deal with. Maybe they not ready with results x

So is De first injection (21 days from first bleedimg) makes u fake pregnant? Dat if u do pregnancy test it's will show positive?

dinks so sorry to hear you're still in lots of pain and having to avoid eating stuff and so bloated etc that truly is rubbish, how is it meant to stop??!!

I'm walking dog and also hoping he gets on with puppy. He has been great help whilst I've been ill & he's also just met me at the door all happy & waggy when I'm feeling a bit rubbish as ET is now not next week as my friends lining is only 5mm instead of the 8-10 mm it needs to be so she feels rubbish & we all feel really deflated as we thought we'd nearly reached the end of the wait...of course we are now all worried about what if the extra tablets she's now got to take don't make it thicker???

Oh and we're getting puppy next sat & now all have to be out of house 3 days after it arrives having told no one what we're doing. Damn it!! Really really worried now the lining will be like atiks & not play ball! everything was going so well!!!

Sorry, needed a rant, even DH doesn't know yet as he doesn't come to these appointments my friend& I go & I can't get hold of him

Minster - ma lining always growing till max 8-9 mm nd a had 6,6 mm BT a wait on period so den a cn build the new lining. A heard dat Chinese ppl fink dat heat helping obs it's better blood flow so yh lining shut b better. A using lyk a heating pad/ pillow a placing it on ma stomach, a trying keep ma feet warm cz same Chinese ppl fink if u hv cold feet De womb cold too... BT ma feet nd hand r frozen 24/7 even summer tym lol same sex makes u better blood flow to the lining. A fink ginger, cinnamon nd spice food warming u inside so dats gd too..

Was that with both patches and injections and tablets atik? Now really worried

Well we had a curry for lunch so spicy warm food! And she's generally a hot person!!

Minster - Ohhh no bbz X a just started ma fet, 21 day from first bleeding they gave me one injection in ma stomach BT first they was need to check ma lining nd ovaries if am ready for dis injection nd ma living was 6,6 mm BT it's not actually a ling for transfer cz nw in 7 days a suppous to hv period nd in two weeks a hv app nd from den if am ready a will take All medicine to start build ma lining, nd two tym b4 on ma fet a cudav only build it till max 7.8-8.9 mm wer the best linning shud b 10mm xxx

Minster - maybe she can try using hot water bottle on her stomach? Or heated pillow thing on her stomach? Or sex tho cz then it's the best blood flow to the lining

Minster2012 Don’t get down so fast, ok maybe not the date u was hoping for, but u been waiting long enough, another week won’t make much difference plus it’s all happening for the best, remember that. 😘😘

Girls with frozen transfer, when to expect period after EC? Same as if after ovulation about 2 weeks or it’s different?
