Hi Ladies! Finally I will have my first IVF treatment as soon as my next cycle starts which I expect it to be more or less end of September/beginning of October. My periods are very irregular so I never know exactly. My consultant suggested antagonist protocol which I will receive in post soon. I am extremely excited but then realistic about the fact that it might not be successful first time.

How are you feeling ladies? When are you due to start your Ivf Journey? Fingers crossed for all of us fighters;-)

I meant late as in I should have joined months ago when I started injections...I could have used the support back then. Oh well!

Dhobighat Oh I understand. I had loads of questions and kept finding old forums and was happy I found this one.
I am ok, feel like a big warm poop 😀. They got 21 eggs yesterday and 14 fertilised.. now have to wait till about Wednesday so they can tell me how many survived and ready to be frozen 😰 how many did they freeze for you? And how long did you have to wait till transfer?

Wow that's a great haul and a lovely fertilisation rate! When is ET for you?

I got 7 eggs (I only have one ovary) and 6 fertilised. We froze 2 x 5-day blasts.

I started this (medicated) FET in August! It took so long to down-reg for me, then I had a cyst that had to be aspirated. It has seemed to take forever! One blast back in.

Dhobighat August 😀 that’s not long, it’s only October. I don’t know when, they saying takes around 10 weeks. Whether they do it before Xmas or after, don’t have a clue yet. For now worrying how many they will freeze 🤔

Hi all, I hope you don't mind me joining your thread I just wanted to get thoughts from others in the same situation. Had a 5 day blast transferred on 4th Oct and told to test tomorrow. I got impatient and tested today - it's negative. Just wondering whether there is any chance of a positive tomorrow or if I'm defo out now.

Feeling like 💩 ☹️ Suddenly felt nauseous and tmi but rushed to the toilet with diarrhoea. And then felt hot and fainted. Opened my eyes, covered in cold sweat.. pulled all clothes off and that’s how my partner found me on the floor.. is this what OHSS looks like then?! One minute I am fine and then suddenly I feel like I am dying 😭😭

Partiallyright - ohh hun, bet u feel sad, BT there was too many story's wer girl did test b4 nd was negative nd after in blood test they found out its positive xxx

Aliona- a had ohhs BT a was constipated rly bad no medics helped with it even tho a took more than a supposed. Ma stomach was soon bloated nd felt bruised inside dats y they told me to hv FET but after one week a was okay. A had hot flushes nd felt like faint nd then a felt like a frozen BT that was only wen a started take all De medicine BT then was okay a guess ma body used to dis hormones, did u gone to hospital nd ask if it's normal nd Wat u shud do?

Atikakck hey.. I felt hot and fainted and then cold sweat and absolutely freezing. Fee absolutely fine now. So 2 days with 2 episodes.. it’s listed in one of the signs of OHSS, plus in hospital they said “if u feel like u can’t breath and blah blah then go to AE” doubt they gonna be helpful in fertility clinic. 😕 and as you said you was ok after a week. Maybe just have to wait a bit

BT then once a started fet in first nd 2nd chance wen a started take dis all medicine then a had hot flushes etc dat was scary cz once Ave got in shop too many ppl nd a sweating like a dog ma body shaking den felt frozen, weak nd lyk a guna faint. BT dat was cz of medicine tho a was need to watch to propa eat, drink nd don't b too active, no rush etc xx

Atikakck I know what u mean, always terrified to faint in public place 😱 boss wanted me to go back to work today after EC yesterday. But not sure even about Monday now 🙈

Dhobighat hey. Last time I rang them was a year ago, when I was miscarriying and got adviced to see Gp in the morning 😤 so don’t have faith in this. I am feeling absolutely fine again, just bloated. Will wait and see if things will be coming back. Shame we have to be going through things like that

Aliona - just hv relax don't rush with nuffin nd make sure u eat propa X ohhh they never do nuffin when a was miscarry few months bk a rang them nd told demand a heavy bleeding nd hv too much pain nd they sed " it's not emergency sorry we booked full u hv to cum in 4 days cz then it's ur app"

Atikakck I know, they r very strange in uk with that. No one seem to care unless u really far ahead or maybe nothing can be done 😒 but anyway, we just have to be strong and carry on 😊

Had a busy day today so not checked in since Scotslass amazing news and big things are moving swiftly!!

Partiallyright hi & welcome, great place for support so don't worry, I don't know the right answer but I know what I would do & what my clinic would say (because they, like most places I'm sure DON'T want you to test before 2 weeks) but until we had my nephews 1st birthday party in the way we were fully planning on testing early but can't face going if negative so now we'll wait...anyway...basically I would continue testing everyday cos I wouldn't tell them I'd tested early (ours also don't do bloods just tell you to poas so same thing). I'd test first thing in the morning though cos that's the most reliable. So who knows maybe it means you aren't out of the game? Failing that I'd wait 3 days & repeat. I wouldn't just leave it at one because it could definitely be wrong!!

Aliona you may be doing too much or just not used to the anaesthetic or having been "rummaged around inside" & coming off the pain killers & trying to do stuff. They got a good amount of eggs so they had a good feel around& it may just be weird & upsetting for your body & you are still on hormones don't forget. It's A LOT & A LOT OF STRESS!! please take it easy. Don't allow your body to get too hot or too cold as extremes in temperature will be too hard to regulate with the hormones & little things like getting hot (like crowded shops, getting flustered) are why ladies going through the menopause find it so tough, you are doing that to your body along with then having ACTUAL pain inflicted along with physical & emotional stress so please ladies look after yourselves & slow down!! take time off work, 💕Let your OH's take the strain, TELL THDM THEY NEED TO TAKE THE STRAIN!! It could be for a very important cause!!

Sorry to be shouty but please look after yourselves, being strong is not just carrying on like before, it's looking after yourselves too
