IVF Cycle Buddies August/September?

Anyone starting a cycle this month? I know there's a July/August thread, but seems that they've mostly all started on their cycles. I'm due to start DR tomorrow and if all goes well will have EC at the beginning of September.

Have not shared our IVF journey with too many people in IRL so would love to have a bit of company here. This will be our first go at IVF, so quite nervous at the mo!

Bbyg thank you. I know how you feel now. My test day 14th seems like so far away. X

Fox aye good. The whole thing was absolutely fascinating. Seeing the embryo then watching it being released into my uterus was so cool. The embryologist said it was a lovely good grade wee embryo so fingers crossed.
I have to say a sense of calm has come over me today because I've done everything I can and now it's in the hands of the gods.
How are you doing missus?
Any tips for the next 10days???

Sorry I’ve dropped off the radar been getting to grips with things. No real news from me. We have a follow-up at the clinic a week Monday to discuss next steps. Me and OH haven’t really agreed a plan yet but I think it will be egg donation. Fingers crossed that will give us a better chance of success and hopefully some Frosties in the freezer :)

Will drop in every now and again to see how you’re getting on x

Hey ladies k wanted to share my feelings with you as I'm so scared 😳 I'm feeling low and unsure if this is going to work I just want to cry I'm having ups and downs also a lot of hot sweats is this normal ? My boobs are so swallow and sore and feeling twinges cramps any advice would be so much appreciated xx

Bbyg - try to stay positive. It’s so hard as many pregnancy symptoms are similar to period symptoms and then you’ve got all the drugs in your system so any symptoms could also be that. In the end I honestly didn’t have a clue what was going on until my period came! Just take a breath and be kind to yourself. The 2WW sucks but we’re here for you. Sending big hugs xxx

Bbyg sorry to hear you are struggling. My boobs are exactly the same. They are so tender. I've had to wear sports crop top.
I'm also getting some twinges. Im trying to keep my mind occupied so I'm not dwelling too much. I swing from being positive one minute to like you thinking it's not going to happen. This whole process is such an emotional rollercoaster.
What is your test date again? The 14th cannot come quick enough for me.

Thank you for your support my test date is 11th on Wednesday can I ask am I 4 days post transfer had it on Monday sorry I know I must sound so stupid I went bs k to work today which helped and working the weekend so I guess that's a good thing just like you say try keep positive sorry yo sound like s sado got slight headache too roll on Wednesday thank you ladies wishing you both love ❤️ xx

I'm hyper analysing everything. It's so hard to stay positive.
The toilet situation is not great. I'm still struggling and I'm so scared to do it (crazy I know). My skin has all broke out now like it does before my period. I'm hoping it's all the progesterone.

I'm ok at work so that's helping still hog slight head ache though
Not feeling as negative but the cramps have calmed but they were not that bad so I'm freaking abit I guess I'm looking st every single thing boobs are still swallow no bleeding and I'm in 2 progesterone tablets a day. I had a really bad cramp Thursday night where I had to sit down but since then just period like cramps. I felt abit sick this morning but again am I reading to much into things ??? Yes this is truly torture 🙈

Hi ladies, been busy week, happy weekend is finally here!
Yes, 2ww is brutal! It plays tricks with your mind all the time. I was so tiered all the time, that at work I didn't think much about it, when I got home, I had my dinner, and fell asleep... so it sort of helped. And toilet... every 15 min... that was and still is a nightmare.
Scots- yes, all my bras are too small as well... you are doing well, and your test is only week away! Will you do wee test or blood test at the clinic?
Bbyg- sorry to hear you are not feeling great! Of course you would question everything, would be strange if you didn't! It's such a massive moment in our lives! Your test is only days away? Do you think you will manage to wait?

Hi fox I'm try I'm trying to keep strong but yes it's so hard as all I want is this to work I will try not to but I'm scared to hear what they will say on Wednesday. I keep having hot and cold flushes did you have them ? Thank you for your continued support xx

Oh Bbyg- I didn't get hot flashes at the stage u are in, but I'm really getting them for the last week or so! Hot flashes are so annoying as you feel like you need to take shower every 5 min lol
I did some reading, and apparently that's normal. I'm also getting restless legs lately, really annoying as well, as it stops me from proper sleep every other night.
Don't overthink about Wednesday as it's out of your hands, I'm so wishing you all the luck in the world!

Morning I think I'm starting to bleed I'm so upset when I went to toilet and wipe I can see slight pink so I'm expecting full flow today I'm just sat here crying 😭 I'm suppose to be having blood test on Wednesday but I know it will be unhappy news !!!

Hey scotslass01 so I'm due on today tomorrow just saw slight pink colour this morning just when I wiped not seen anything since but feel like AF is coming I'm sure unsure 😐 might have freaked out for nothing not sure 🤔 that was around 8.30 this morning took my pessary and jeep checking but not seen anything more am I just been a idiot I just feel like a crazy person x

Bbyg- knickerwatching is so part of this process... Scots is right, slight spotting can happen and is very common. Fingers crossed! What time is your test? You had blood test, right?

Hey fox so it's brownish white really light but I'm scared called the hospital they said to keep on with pessary and to still come in finger crossed but I am doubtful xx

Hi ladies,
Yes, I felt cramps most days before my test, to be honest, and it still hasn't stopped. I still get cramps, and pulling muscle pain (like side stitch).
Scots- if you are getting urine test on Sat, can I advise you something. Ging mentioned in one post awhile ago, that she sent her DH to the first pharmacy that opened in the morning to make sure that her test is ... correct. So, I got myself pack of 5 from Amazon, and... used them all up
It's such a handy thing to have and helps with reassurance- BFN or BFP

Sort of like AF cramps, but when you analyse every twitch and pull, it really may feel like AF. I noticed that AF is sort of much longer lasting but with this, it's more sudden and quicker. aftee my 5 pack I also bought clear blue so yes, I had like 9 all together ... all but one used up during the first week lol
