IVF Cycle Buddies August/September?

Anyone starting a cycle this month? I know there's a July/August thread, but seems that they've mostly all started on their cycles. I'm due to start DR tomorrow and if all goes well will have EC at the beginning of September.

Have not shared our IVF journey with too many people in IRL so would love to have a bit of company here. This will be our first go at IVF, so quite nervous at the mo!

So I'm back home after EC which I was awake for was uncomfortable and could feel it but I got 8 eggs 👏🏽👏🏽So I hope tomorrow is good news too just gotta wait on the call in the morning xx

Bby- you could feel it?!?! how did you manage that. Congrats on the 8 eggs.

I had mild anastectic with gas and air tbh I don't know how but I'm just resting as stomach abit crampy and uncomfortable 😣 is 8 eggs good I thought I'd get more tbh but just hope they are happy and doing what's needed

Bbyg- congrats! That's amazing! Seriously, you only need one 🙂 Can't believe you were awake and could feel it! I remember getting on the table, telling them it's all exciting, and then.... out.... woke up 30 min later after amazing sleep. But yes, Bbgy- you will need hot water bottle as me too, felt uncomfortable for about 3-4 days
Scots- can you believe it will be you tomorrow???? How cool is that!!!!!

Thank you all for kind words, I really appreciate it, as it really makes it more real. I still have humongous journey ahead with ups and downs where I can fall at any step, but fingers crossed.
They booked me in for my first scan in 4 weeks. 😲

Scotslass01 you will be fine the trigger shot is ok did irritate my skin but honestly don't worry I found being hungry hard just had a slice of pizza as I was craving it and my hubby took me to Pizza Hut but I only ate now as I started to feel sick think it was the drugs but starting to feel better just catching up on TV as Iv not watched much just trying to stay positive thank you all for your support today I am extremely happy with 8 just reading others got more but yes it only takes one

Fox how are you feeling ? Has it sank in yet ? Extremely happy and excited for you and your hubby congrats Hun xx

Bbyg - 8 is amazing! I only got 3 but have very low AMH. Hence we are debating donor eggs next time! Fingers crossed for your phone call tomorrow🤞🏼X

Ging, Behere, Emma, how are you getting on? I was back to work today, had a few moments where I thought I'd cry but held myself together. Going to be a long week but can feel myself already thinking about the FET. Sending you all loads of good thoughts. Xx

Meadows- I'm feeling more normal. Back at work today. But only doing a couple of days and then away at the weekend, which is nice. I'm happy to have a wee break before starting my fresh cycle. Tbh, I'm dreading doing it all again, but for now I'll try eat healthy, take vitamins and have lots of fun times until then.
You'll do great for FET. The process is a bit easier.

Hi ladies - I'm doing okay! Back at work now, and AF made an appearance too. Was feeling slightly down a bit earlier though, as we are looking at early November as the earliest date for our FET, which feels like ages away to be in limbo/sounds emotionally draining. But I know I should just be patient.

Fox - huge congratulations - such great news! How you feeling? Keeping everything crossed for your scan and the coming weeks and months.

Scots - all the best for your 11.30 trigger tonight - we were so nervous when we triggered, but it was absolutely fine for me from a symptoms etc perspective.

Bbyg - great news re your egg collection (you only need one!) - all the best for your call tomorrow morning. Super brave that you were awake for the EC!

Awww Emma, such a tough process. AF coming would have totally put you on a downer. November will be here before you know it. Try keep the chin up.
Have to say I am a little nervous about it. Even more nervous about Fridays results.

Scots - got 3 eggs, one didn’t make it to day 5. They transferred both so we have no Frosties.

It’s brown and not a lot of it at the mo so I’m hoping and praying it isn’t AF but that seems the most likely option x. I have cramps too :(

Serend1pity - sorry to hear - perhaps it's just implantation bleeding, like Scots said? I've read too that sometimes some bleeding and cramping can occur? xxx

Hi Emma, sorry to hear about AF. Sounds like you have a good positive attitude though, and November isn't far. Just a month, so use that time to relax
Unfortunately, I don't have any more frozen embryos, so moving on to my second fresh. It's not until January, but I am grateful for the break. I don't feel mentally or physically ready to do it all again yet. Think I'm losing weight, which isn't good. I'm already small. Wondering how I put on weight, but by eating healthy?!

Serend- hope you're bleeding has stopped/ is still brown. 🙁 I think brown blood will be fine. And the progesterone can cause bleeding from irritation. Wishing you all the best xx

So my doctor just called and we got 10 eggs yesterday 😀And 9 mature and 6 have fertilised 🙈🤞🏽👏🏽I'm so happy just gotta wait another day as calling me tomorrow to update. Already can't stop thinking about it going to drive myself nuts I'm still feeling abit of cramps so sat with hot water bottle hope this starts to ease off. How long did it take you all to feel ok xx
