Hi all! I know there's a June/July thread but I've started this one as I'm so far behind everyone else and wanted to find others at the same stage as me!

We're due to start a FET after a failed fresh cycle in march resulted in a CP. We got 5 Frosties which I'm so pleased with and we're putting two frozen ones back this time.

AF came yesterday, so I'm booked in for scratch on 24th of this month and start DR on 22nd.

I joined a thread on my last cycle and it helped me so much as I am very private with all of this. So I'm hoping to find others to share with again 😊

Yay Leanne! So pleased that your embies were looking good. Definitely gave me a giggle with the emergency cord!

I'm in for transfer tomorrow. Equally excited and terrified! Will be washing in my home made shampoo and conditioner again tonight!

Leanne. I remember that you had 4 embies. Did you get to freeze 3 or did they whittle it down to the best couple?

Leanne1185 · 12/08/2017 15:44

Thanks duck!! The other 3 weren't quite blastocysts yet so they're going to look again first thing in the morn and hopefully freeze two as one was a little behind the others xx

BiscuitBill · 12/08/2017 16:18

Yayyyy Leanne! How exciting! There's so many of you on 2ww now.. I'm thinking by the time mine comes I'll be talking to an empty thread as you'll all be off buying your pushchairs and baby grows & forgot about little old me 😩
Gamblers don't worry, as others have said.. it's only for the day of EC and ET.
Cho great news on arrival of AF (sort of good news anyway, isn't it?!) let's get the ball rolling!
Crying I'm the opposite.. I didn't even want to test in my OTD as I was such a nervous wreck! I wanted to carry on living in my PUPO bubble for the rest of my life!

Aw hang in there biscuit it might all of a sudden all happen at once! It's easy for me to say I know! U thought I would be wanting to just lie down today but Iv gt ants in my pants, Iv cleaned the house and just back a dog walk 😂 I'm also trying for puppy number 2 🙊

ChoChang · 12/08/2017 18:53

Well thats my first injection done, couldnt wait any longer! Had a panic mid way through and thought there was a massive air bubble so took it out, then had to put a fresh needle on to finish the injection. Im sure tomorrow will go better Confused. Also, I just ate about a 3 person serving of icecream Shock. Im blaming being ill the last couple of days and AF.

Remind me where youre up to biscuit? Youre doing FET? When are you expecting transfer? Sorry brain is like a sieve at the moment.

Looking good for you having some frosties too leanne, sometimes they just need that extra day.

BiscuitBill · 12/08/2017 18:57

That's ok, there's so much to keep up with on this thread isn't there!
Yes FET, and they've given me 24th for estimate for ET. I'll be having 2 put back!
I've just took the dog for a walk and now just about to order a dominos 🍕

Ah, just looked back, I missed your update biscuit - 12 days to go then? Dont worry Im behind you, I wont be having EC til around 24th so probably 28thish before ET for me. Ill keep you company if the others are all out shopping for supplies haha x

thegamblersmrs · 12/08/2017 19:12

Bill we will be et round the same time so I'll keep you company!

Tell me what's the deal with air bubble? I keep forgetting to check mine for them!

Here, how much of an idiot am I. I kinda forgot this was a public forum and was thinking we were in some kinda wee closed chat group!!! Oops!

BiscuitBill · 12/08/2017 19:30

Haha nope.. Everyone in the world could read this if they wanted to! I kinda like it because I know I used to ghost read before I plucked up the courage to finally speak, and reading everyone's stories really helped. So it's nice to think we're helping others with out even knowing it!
I think in our case it's just to make the injection less painful - air bubbles = painful! If we were injecting into a needle it would be more of a big deal (I think!)

ChoChang · 12/08/2017 19:39

Thanks biscuit, I didnt really know tbh, just told by the nurses to get rid of any big air bubbles, but tiny ones are fine! I know it would be bad if we were injecting into veins but hopefully nothing too drastic can happen if they let us do them ourselves!

thegamblersmrs · 12/08/2017 20:00

I'm using a pen. I've checked two. The first one and this mornings. All the others I've totally forgotten. Feel I'm getting cocky and not paying attention.

thegamblersmrs · 12/08/2017 20:07

In other news. I've just spent enough to qualify for free next day deliver x4 in asos. I really hope I regret buying size 10 jeans it in two weeks time!!

thirtyplusone · 12/08/2017 21:15

Hooray Leanne! Love the emergency cord fiasco

Good work on injections cho. I tried to remove air bubbles and shot a load of the fluid across the room 🤣

Picked up my antagonist injection today. Should be Monday I think. Who knows! They've increased my dose again to 125 today then 150 tomorrow. A couple of 17s today but my oestrogen has dropped off a little.

Leanne1185 · 12/08/2017 22:07

Thirty that's exciting that those follies r getting bigger 🙌🏻 Not long now!!
I have a question that is honestky TMI so I apologise! I have the dodgiest tummy tonight, not sure if it's nerves catching up on me or whether I have a bug. Do u think this could affect my chances? X

thegamblersmrs · 12/08/2017 23:26

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well leanne. I don't know the answer but I suspect it's not unusual considering you've been poked about up there. I'd say keep hydrated, if you're losing a lot out the way you'll need to put more in. You might need diorolyte to replace the elctoloytes/salts. Not sure if you can take that when pg.
phone the clinic in the morning?
feel better soon. 🤞🏻❤️

Floofles · 13/08/2017 07:34

Wow so much to catch up on again!
Thank you all for your kind words about the hen! I said I was on antibiotics to anyone who asked, but the bride knows and by her drunken not so subtle chat I'm pretty sure everyone thinks I'm pregnant! I didn't mind too much though as because I was not saying that no-one talked about it, and I only really know two of them and those two both know it's certainly not pregnancy yet!

Yay Cho so pleased for you about af (sort of! 😂)
My consultant said it doesn't matter about air bubbles as they're so little and we're injecting sub cutaneously - my nurse friend didn't quite agree as we could theoretically hit our blood, but it'd have to be a massive bubble to cause harm so I wouldn't worry about it!!! (As long as you're still alive now...😂)

Gamblers I think I'm the same as you about holding that pink line in my hand - even if it's just the trigger I desperately want to see one! Also I bought 25 cheapies before this started and I may as well use them right!!

I can't even think that far ahead yet though - I'm sure I will still be stimming when everyone is into their 2ww 😂

Congratulations Leanne! Do you know about your other embies yet? obviously not is 7.30am

Gamblers my last clothing purchase was a pair of size 12 high waisted jeans that fit me like a glove (although I wish I was size 10 and I've put on so much weight I really really need to sort this out!!!) Which WILL NOT fit if I get any bigger (I haven't washed them since starting stims and I'm not going to because I've put on 10 pounds -wtaf!)
But I'm hoping that sods law will come into effect and I can't wear them - because that would be excellent!
I also bought some very very lovely sweaty Betty running tights which, although stretchy, I can't imagine lasting long of all goes well!

Thirty yaaaaay about your follies, it's good to hear they're waiting for a few more to reach that size - I'm so scared that if one is at 17mm they'll just go for that one and I'll have no frosties, so it's reassuring that they're upping your dose!
I've actually nearly caught up to your dose now I'm on 112.5 so my fingers are tightly crossed for that meaning my ovaries actually get on the IVF bus!

Leanne I've been feeling pretty dicky since upping my dose, and I think an upset stomach is generally a sign of bodily stressors sonic wouldn't panic (well I would, but probably don't need to!) But I would ring clinic in the morning!

I hope everyone has a lovely Sunday!

Whatamuddleduck · 13/08/2017 17:08

Hi all
Transfer done and one embie hopefully getting settled in. 2 more going in the freezer today and some more may get frozen tomorrow if they make it to blasto by then. Got more than I dared home for. Now just to wait!

Leanne- hopefully you are feeling better or have some advice from the clinic. Your symptoms could be OHSS, your hormones changing, or just one of those things- frustrating not knowing though!

Floofles- I'm glad yours are coming along. Progress in the right direction is good progress!

thegamblersmrs · 13/08/2017 17:22

Great news duck!

Leanne are you feeling any better?

Leanne1185 · 13/08/2017 17:28

Hey all, happy Sunday!!i wasul during the night a couple of times and had to cancel a day with friends today because I still felt yucky this morning, however feeling back to normal now...weird!! Think I maybe just ate something or it was just the nerves from yesterday morning catching up who knows!!!
Yay duck welcome to the PUPO group. Weird feeling eh? Pregnant but not 😂😂

thegamblersmrs · 13/08/2017 19:13

In the supermarket having a melt down over what to have for dinner. Something nutritious for my teeny eggs, don't fancy anything and nothing jumping out at me when I spot a well known footballer buying crunchy nut cornflakes! Well if it's good enough for an athlete it's good enough for the eggs!😂

Leanne1185 · 13/08/2017 19:32

Haha nice choice, I think we're all crunchy nuts at the moment so very fitting 😂

Leanne1185 · 13/08/2017 20:03

Anyone else got sore boobs? I had it when I was pregnant and I couldn't even walk without feeling them twinge n that's how they feel now...total mind f**k because I know it's the progesterone pessaries this time 😂😂

thirtyplusone · 13/08/2017 20:05

Crunchy nut cornflakes fix everything! OH on Thai Green curry duty tonight.

Great news duck!! How do you feel?

How was everyone traveling after retrieval? I need to get back from SW London to NE. No easy comfortable way 😬

Leanne1185 · 13/08/2017 20:06

Tbh I did t feel bad after retrieval, once the anaesthetic wore off it was like business as usual just a bit tired xx

ChoChang · 13/08/2017 20:15

Yay duck, hope that embie is getting nice and comfy, another one in the PUPO club!

2nd injection done here, much more straightforward than last night and not an air bubble in sight Grin

We had to taxi it last time for EC, cost a bloody fortune, but OH doesnt drive. My parents are maybe coming to visit around EC time so possibly get a lift this time, otherwise it will be taxis again. I felt fine after i came round after EC last time and sure I could have driven no problem, so its annoying but best to be safe i suppose.
