Hi all! I know there's a June/July thread but I've started this one as I'm so far behind everyone else and wanted to find others at the same stage as me!

We're due to start a FET after a failed fresh cycle in march resulted in a CP. We got 5 Frosties which I'm so pleased with and we're putting two frozen ones back this time.

AF came yesterday, so I'm booked in for scratch on 24th of this month and start DR on 22nd.

I joined a thread on my last cycle and it helped me so much as I am very private with all of this. So I'm hoping to find others to share with again 😊

Hi girls not long out my op and still feeling woozy, actually procedure was fine and was telling the nurses and my hubby I loved them 😂 They got 7 eggs which I'm really chuffed with cz they thought 5 earlier, bit of the weight off knowing I can't do anything for the next few days xx

Nowwhyareyoucrying · 07/08/2017 10:27

Excellent news Leanne! I kept looking at pictures of what they look like at each stage...bit weird I know. Rest up, and get some electrolytes down you. Yay!

BiscuitBill · 07/08/2017 10:42

Brilliant news Leanne! You must be so chuffed 😊 put your feet up and relax now!

Hi all! Quietly watching over here. Sounds like great progress for everyone 🙂 Just waiting for my first scan after 5 days on puregon. Not really feeling anything going on other than bursting into tears for no reason at last nights injection 😂

Can't remember (much at the moment) if I updated after my colposcopy but I had 2 biopsys and no treatment needed hoorah!! Back in 6 months pregnant or not for another one (oh god).

Fingers crossed for lots of eggs in the coop today 🐔

ChoChang · 07/08/2017 10:58

Ah biscuit, nightmare! At least you remembered quite soon after, and half and hour difference will be fine. Ive decided to do mine on an evening again, so if I do forget, at least im likely to be at home!

crying, glad your embies are developing nicely, and youre still on track for ET. So exciting!

leanne glad EC went well, and 7 is a good number to get. Yep you can just relax for a few days now before the next step!

thirtyplusone · 07/08/2017 11:25

55 🍳 and responding well.
Enjoying catching up on all your updates whilst waiting. So many!

Starting With 2 injections from today now.

ChoChang · 07/08/2017 11:54

55 😱. Thats obviously great, but cant imagine what your middle feel like with all of those!

Leanne1185 · 07/08/2017 11:57

Thanks guys, I'm now a nervous wreck as embryologist was saying that the sperm wasn't as motile as she'd like so she put on two straws so they're phoning my this afternoon as might need to move to icsi, just have to wait and c 😬

Floofles · 07/08/2017 14:53

Ooo it all gets so different for everyone from here doesn't it!!! That's such a range 7 - 17 - 55! everything seems to be going well though! Well done bodies!

I feel like I'm slipping behind - still 40+ follies, but they haven't grown enough so they've upped my dose very very slightly (from 75 to 87.5) just feels like I'm treading water now - so frustrating!!! Re scanning on Friday, which is ages away and now I just want it to be here NOW!!!

thegamblersmrs · 07/08/2017 15:17

Leanne I would have thought donor sperm would be the best of the best.
I was very against ICSI to start with but I've now totally u turned and going for ICSI straight away. Hope it all goes well.

Leanne1185 · 07/08/2017 16:54

We're actually using my hubbys brother as it's 98.9 % his genetics! Panic over they called and second straw was perfect so just have to pray the fertilise overnight now 🙏🏻🙏🏻

thirtyplusone · 07/08/2017 17:03

We're icsi too Leanne. What a wonderful thing for his brother to do 🙂

Leanne1185 · 07/08/2017 17:13

Thanks I know it was a huge decision but we just didn't feel comfortable using a random donor who we knew nothing about so we asked his brother and he said yes which is just the biggest amazing gift we could have been given and the only way we could have gone through with it! I wouldn't have minded icsi but it was the additional cost involved 😬

BiscuitBill · 07/08/2017 17:31

Thirty that's brilliant news for you! I did wonder where you'd got to & if everything was ok! 55 eggs 😱 wowzers! I can imagine you're feeling a bit tender down there!
Leanne it's one worry after another isn't it?! Glad everything has turned out alright for you though!

I just read this properly...55 eggs? Holy moly!!!!!!
Biscuit ur right it is just one worry after another it's bloody torture 😂

thirtyplusone · 07/08/2017 17:35

Important question alert. I have a profilled syringe of orgalutean but it's practically a quarter air. Do I need to get this out first??!! No instruction given for this one. Excuse dog in background!

thirtyplusone · 07/08/2017 17:35

Gosh spelling. Pre filled. Orgalutran.

Leanne1185 · 07/08/2017 17:39

I'll just ask my hubby he's diabetic and does these all day every day lol two secs x

Leanne1185 · 07/08/2017 17:40

He says if u hold it straight up the air should go to the top then push and it should come out x

thirtyplusone · 07/08/2017 17:42

👍🏻 thanks leanne!

Leanne1185 · 07/08/2017 18:21

No probs I hope it worked xx

thirtyplusone · 07/08/2017 18:39

Hi biscuit! Yes I hid under a rock, then went on holiday then sold the house so manic couple of weeks. Only got the go ahead Thursday. Phew.

55 yes indeed. Eek. The clinic said they'd never seen someone with my AMH and that 'to say they were being cautious with me was an understatement'

So I'm on a super Low dose of puregon to give them a little nudge each day then egg collection next week.

I don't feel that bad all these considered. Only today am I feeling some pressure in my abdomen. Those 55 are only 10 (mm? Is that the measurement?) so need to keep growing them slowly! No scrambling!

BiscuitBill · 07/08/2017 18:50

Yes mm, they need to get to above 17 to collect I think! So once they've all grown a couple of mm you'll feel the strain I think! It's not so bad, just a bit tender, especially when you wee!

gah! How is everyone getting on today? I've committed to working through my amazon watch list and baked a feeling sorry for myself rhubarb crumble. Working a treat.

Leanne1185 · 07/08/2017 19:10

Haha u can't beat a crumble to make u feel better...my fave yum!! I'm ok but I'm finding this part just as nerve wracking as the 2ww to c if any of my eggs fertilise...I'm dreading the call tomo! Im about to start the pessaries also...the glamour of baby making eh 😂
