We have relocated from the conception board where we were previously chatting under the thread 'ttc for 10 months or more'. A lot of us are now long term ttc-ers and are going through infertility treatment or looking to take steps in this direction so we feel this might be a more suitable home for us!

Feel free to stop by and say hi and hopefully we can share the journey together and make it a little easier along the way!

Ha ha blue I am not serene! I am so distracted it's ridiculous. I can't concentrate on anything expect this bloody test on Monday!

The egg sharing sounds interesting. I hadn't heard of that - I must look into it.

How are you feeling blue?

TeaAnd0ranges · 25/02/2017 11:33

Oh and thanks for your optimism ptera I do hope me and blue are part of the 4! With star and others following closely behind Smile

kctks2017 · 25/02/2017 11:35

Hi all hope I can join in your convo...
having EC tuesday on first cycle just wanted to hear some advice and success stories for first time ivf??

bluebird3 · 25/02/2017 12:57

Welcome kct. A couple of us are in our 2ww and some waiting to begin. There are some grads who stop by now and again to give us hope knowing others have had success! Good luck with ec on Tuesday. How many follicles do you have?

I'm feeling a little down today tea. my best work friend has been on mat leave for the last year and was due back in march. We've stayed close as she had ivf so has been coaching me through it all. She's just told me she's taken another job and won't be returning. I'm so sad! If this doesn't work then it's like...what don't do now? Life has been ttc for the last 2 years building up to this. Anyways...only another day and a half now for you! Are you tempted to test early? Wishing you lots of + baby vibes!!!!

Meant to also say of course secondary infertility is difficult ptera! Anyone who has never had trouble ttc should shut the f up about it! We all know they are sitting over there secretly happy it's not them. How dare they judge you for wanting another baby?! So rude.

Thanks bluebird for replying good luck to everyone in their 2ww, in the beginning I had 9 on my right but they said my left is slower so at this point I'm actually unaware how many.

bluebird3 · 26/02/2017 12:48

Sounds a good number kct. Good luck!

How you doing tea? Only one more day!

Hi blue I'm ok I think! No bleeding which I think is a good sign but I know progesterone can delay af. We've had friends over the huscweekend which has been a nice distraction but I'm starting to dread tomorrow morning, it's going to be gutting to get a negative!

I also hope you're feeling better today blue. It's such an emotional rollercoaster. I'm sure you will stay in touch with your friend at work but it is nice to have an ally. I hope you start to feel better and I have everything crossed for you. It is bewildering to wonder what next when everything has built up to this first go.

Welcome kct hope your ec goes well!

bluebird3 · 26/02/2017 20:26

Thanks tea. I have felt a bit better today. I spent the day cleaning my house. It felt good to be productive. Dh is away so I'm now snuggled up on the sofa with my puppy watching the voice. Not too bad. I'll be thinking about you tomorrow. Best of luck!!!!

geeup · 27/02/2017 14:33

Sure it won't be too long. I'm gunning for you!

SharyBobbins · 27/02/2017 16:57

Hello! I'm just wondering if I can join you? I'm going to read through the thread asap but just wanted to introduce myself!
In a nutshell I've been ttc no.1 for over two years now. I was about to begin fertility tests due to my long cycles but fell pregnant. Unfortunately this sadly ended in a miscarriage last year. No BFP's since but on a positive note I do have an appointment at the infertility clinic next week. I'm finding ttc/infertility a increasingly lonely experience in RL so I'm hoping to find some support from those who are in the same boat! Smile

kctks2017 · 27/02/2017 17:30

Hi shary I'm new here too, same for me but I've recently started ivf and now I'm having my eggs collected in the morning. So fingers crossed I have produced some good ones. I my self have read through the threads and they have really helped and enlightened me. Hope everything goes well for you good luck Smile

geeup · 27/02/2017 18:43

Welcome shary. I totally understand how lonely you feel. All my friends have babies now :(
Good luck tomorrow kctks. Let us know how you get on.

kctks2017 · 27/02/2017 18:55

Thanks gee will do, haven't stressed so far but today I think it's actually dawning on me, crapping me pants a bit

TeaAnd0ranges · 27/02/2017 20:04

Thank you everyone! It's so lovely that you are all so pleased for me - it's nice to be able to share my news as only DH and my mom know in RL.

blue I'm not sure about symptoms. My boobs and nipples are ridiculous and they ache quite a lot and I'm so tired but this could still be all the additional progesterone. No sickness but a huge appetite but this could be psychological and in just a greedy beggar!

Terror of a m/c is now overtaking my happiness Sad. I'm just so worried that something will go wrong. I have a scan on the 9th which will be 6 weeks as I've had an ectopic pregnancy before. I really do hope for an uneventful 9 months now!!

Good luck for stabbing gee you are really on your way now and best of luck for your ec tomorrow kct hope you get lots of lovely eggs!

maple I hope your follow up appointment goes well. They may well discuss a date for your next round - hope so!

shary welcome. Everyone here is really supportive and we really do understand what you are going through so glad to have you.
