2ww cycle buddies November 2016

[H2016]

Has anyone recently started a cycle. I had a fet on Tuesday 8/11/16 and had spotting prior to this and then today a gush of bleeding. Has anyone else experienced this ? It's now completely gone. I'm so confused. I'm hoping its implantation bleeding but after my last fet failed and first fresh attempt resulted in early misscarriage I'm so scared this time has failed as well.

I'm having some issues with my HCG levels rising slowly so not sure what's happening with this pregnancy yet. Think it's a bit of a waiting game!

I have no idea what happens next, all my info sheet said was 'if you test on a weekend, please ring the clinic first thing Monday morning with the result'.
So that's what I did & I was told one of the nurses would phone me back.
That was at 8.35am this morning! Feel like I'm on egg shells!

The clinic have just phoned!
They've booked me in for a scan on 14th December! I need to pop there tomorrow to collect my prescription for another 2 weeks of cyclogest as I'll run out!

Cramps is normal. I've had them off and on - nothing severe though!
Well since OTD I've had my bloods done every 2 days and the level is going up but my as quickly as I think it should. It wasn't doubling in 48 hours. First was doubling in 72 then 60 and then 90! So the level is going up and started high but not really sure what's happening. I did have 2 embryos put back so not sure if that could make a difference but I'm a bit in limbo!
Having more bloods today after another 3 days so will see tonight/tomorrow morning how we are doing. I'm very worried and trying to accept this could all come crashing down really. Not much I can do but wait though. I've not had any severe cramps or spotting/bleeding.

That's good 14th be here soon yeah I've had carry on with meds till 12 weeks pregnancy, that's lot to deal with lolly x

Yer it's so worrying. The joy of my BFP was very short lived and replaced with fear and utter devastation. But nobody has really said much yet - I'll know more tomorrow I'm sure.

Sorry to read that Lolly. Is there a reason that you have had so many blood tests? My clinic has said nothing about blood tests, just the stick test then a scan at 6 weeks to check its still bloody there!
At least your clinic can monitor your hcg levels with your blood tests.

No I asked for one so I could check and then got myself into hysterics and asked for another. Then they told me to come back today so we could see after just over 3 days how much it had gone up.
They do blood test to confirm pregnancy. I haven't even POAS!

I'm beside myself with worry honestly!

My god I've had nothing like that just do test then scan at 7 weeks stay on meds till 12th week hope all is ok x

I'm sure it is! Part of me wishes I hadn't as I'd have been able to relax a bit and then wait to the scan on the 12th.
Now I'll likely still have to wait till my scan but I'll have worried myself into oblivion regardless of what happens!!

I'm with Julie though, I almost don't want to know what's happening until my 6 week scan - and yes I know there's a chance I could get to the scan and there be no baby but I'll cross that when & if I come to it!
It's been such a rollercoaster already, I just wanted a break from the worrying if that makes sense!!!

You know you said you'll be 7 weeks 2 days at your scan. When does the start actually start?
Egg fertilisation day? (Ec)
As my EC was 9th November and the nurse said my 6 week scan is on the 14th December which will be exactly 6 weeks. So I was technically pregnant on the 9th?
So I'm 2 weeks 5 days at the mo?

I had frozen transfer on 10th November and they said I be 7 weeks wen have my scan on 15th it's really confusing x

Well I put something in online - I did an FET and i took test day at 9dp5dt (19th Nov) as the date and at that point I was 4 weeks pregnant it said. Someone else on here told me that too but maybe that's not right....

A couple of conflicting answers then.
I took a clearblue digital test and it said 2-3 weeks so I assumed that was correct. My nurse also said I was 2.5 weeks gone so maybe that's right? God knows

I've got no idea! I should have asked really but at this moment in time it seems a bit irrelevant! I'll ask at the scan i think!

On the test date ya 4 weeks pregnant then which my test date was 22nd my test said that day pregnant 2-3 weeks, which is 4 weeks at that point, my last ivf treatment wen I had scan 3 weeks after finding out baby measured 8weeks 1 day at that point x

Just to chip in, 2-3 weeks is the foetal age from EC, but once pregnancy is confirmed they use a different dating scale where you have to add 2 weeks. This is because a natural pregnancy is dated from date of last period rather than ovulation date, which would be about 2 weeks earlier in a typical natural cycle. Ovulation date is equivalent to EC date in IVF. It's confusing but you will get used to it.
