Report today :
2 good quality day 3 embryos frozen BUT then told that the remaining 12 are not looking good. Some slow. Some fragmented. Told not to get hopes up or expect and day5/6 embryos frozen :(

Realistically is there any chance with a day 3 FET ? We so wanted to have some blastocysts (or even just one) for future FET.
It sounded v positive when all 14 had obviously made it to day 3 but actually it sounds like 12 of those 14 are duds?
Any stories of hope out there?

yes. we had to delay due to my development of a cyst. We were warned it was highly unlikely to work but they put the only 2 bad quality embryos back in me a day or so later than they would normally do. One didn't take but the other despite what we were told is sitting watching cbeebies in front of me now. there is always hope. Good luck to everyone on the fertility journey.

I will be 5dp5dt on Wednesday but seriously considering testing tomorrow just because I can! I have about 6 frer in my drawer so I might....... Even if it's just to confirm the trigger has gone !

I've had some odd twinges today not pains just like electric shock sort of sensations but no spotting at all which I was surprised about considering I'm in blood thinners and the nurse told me I probably would spot

I didn't spot at all...I only bled once but they think that was me losing a twin. So don't feel bad if you don't spot! I just worked it out and I actually tested at 9 days and got my positive. Maybe hold out a day or two if you can? Though I don't blame you if you can't :) x

I tested either 10 days after 5day transfer I think, it was the eairliest they advised to test....I've had a couple of spotting moments but they've gone again, got an early scan tomorrow as a result. Praying all is ok! Good luck, I hope it all works for you x

What grades were you blasts (you've probably already said but my mind is all over the place !)

Well I tested and I'm not sure.....there's something v v v faint there but I'm wondering if the trigger is lingering in my body? I had 5000iu pregnyl at 8 pm on Friday before last so the 10 days was up last night .....
But I've only had ovitrelle before and perhaps that clears my system quicker than pregnyl as that was always gone by 7/8 days and they are slightly different aren't they

Oh it sounds very positive Willow! I guess you'll know for sure tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed for you. I'm afraid I can't remember what grade my blast was...I know the one they froze wasn't very good...but then I reckon I'll do better on the frozen round as I won't have ohss? Remember though, the grade doesn't mean much really.

All good at the scan, think it's to do with my blood type / coming off IVF drugs....

Small little baby all in place and growing well! 12 weeks Thursday so super excited!!

Nothing today. That will teach me for early testing it must ha e been the remnants of the trigger yesterday :(
So disappointed. 5dp5dt today and I'm pretty sure it should show up by now

Hi Willow, I found a great graph/flowchart that went through the process and it definitely said it was either day 9 or 10 that you would have enough HTC to show on a home pregnancy test so please don't be to disheartened. Xx

My clinic gave me the exact date that it says on here so it must have been day 9 xx

Thankyou suzi it's just so difficult as I've read so much where people get a bfp 9/10 dpo so I thought by 5 days past transfer something would show and yesterday I got my hopes up
I said to dh I feel like it hasn't worked :(

Blood test on Monday
Transfer was Friday so that will be 10 days past transfer

Stupidly I had got myself into the mindset of 'a day 5 blastocyst will definitely work' it was part positive thinking and part really believing (probably naive)

So fed up right now

Meds continuing till after blood results on Monday then I guess as soon as we can another FET. I am going to have a scratch this time I think and transfer both embryos. Will go for medicated cycle too

I think you're amazing for already planning the next one...it'll give you something positive to focus on and to obsessively google. I know I'm probably the last person you want to hear this from, but you have to remember that this will work eventually, you will become a mum. Everyone I've met who has struggled reminds me of this. But this is so so so shit. And you're not stupid for thinking it was going to work. After my ICSI referral came through and I was on the wait list, I convinced myself that if I followed the Deliciously Ella diet I'd get pregnant naturally. I must be the only person who when channeling Ella can put on 2 stone eating seeds and veg, develop acne, and those 'natural deodorants'?! Regress into a smelly 14 year old. Now I look back at that 6 months wishing I'd got pissed every night and had fun!! Fertility makes us all crazy stupid...

Goodness yes I made her sweet potato brownies once they had the consistency of tar and I felt like i didn't need to eat for a couple of days afterwards. Was also seriously out of pocket from buying the ingredients to make them ! Her 3 bean chilli was the only thing I liked in that book !!

Tested again and it was bfn:( just trying to tell myself this is just unlucky and we'll get there. There are two little day 3's waiting for us I'm hopeful at least one may be the magic bean !
