clomid success?

Hi, im on my second month of 50g clomid hoping it works this time, i have been trying to become pregnant for 2 years now i already have a 3 year old daughter and they are not sure why im struggling to become pregnant again. I would love to hear some good news about clomid i dont think i can take anymore negative tests :( The hospital have only given me 3 months of 50g and said if it does not work they wont give me anymore! so i dont no what they do next. i havent really had many side effects from it just headaches. If anyone can let me know there experience that would be great thanks

Hi, just finish reading some of the recent stories on this blog. I wanted to be apart of it! I'm 28 and DH is 27. We have been TTC for over a year now. I have irregular periods and was given clomid for 3 months. This is my first round of clomid, took CD 2-6. I was told to rest 5 days and BD every other day. So far I'm on CD 14. Decided not to take opt b/c I ovulate fine on my own. Great to hear so many inspiring stories on this board .. Gives me lots of hope.

hi ladies. I got a BFP!!!!! God i'm so excited. Just wanted to waste the left over Hpt as was convinced i was not pregnant but instead two pink lines just appeared. Still in shock!!!

That's amazing news dprecious!! Update us more on your symptoms and is this your 1st clomid round? I bet your husband will love the good news! Enjoy being pregnant. It's been a long journey for u I bet. :)

Wow congratulations dprecious! Awesome news! We really are hearing a lot of good news lately. All 3 rounds of clomid failed with me, have unexplained infertility and got my 3rd app back at the fertility unit in a few weeks time. Think they will move on to trying something else. Everything seems so slow though!! Here's hoping some more of us will have BFPs later this year!!! X

Congratulations deprecious that's great news! I've got my first scan on Wednesday - feeling a little nervous! But fingers crossed it will be good news! Sickness has really kicked in this week and gone off most food.

Iv also just found out last night my husband has booked us a surprise holiday for my 30th we leave Monday X I'm really excited, but really nervous and I can't call doctors as they aren't open now ! Really concerned as I don't know I if there is things I need to do on the flight, luckily bits only 3 hrs 20 minutes .I feel a little bit strange as I'm so excited and grateful at what he has done, but so scared about harming the baby X X any help I would appreciate xxx cheers

thanks all. Don't know how far i am but think 4weeks. I started having sore boobs and a little nausea but all gone this morning so not sure what is happening but don't want to be nervous hoping God ll make it work. Wishing us all more bfps.

I'm 8 weeks on wed - I think. That's 8 weeks since last period but I didn't ovulate til day 18 or 19 so may be a few days less? Hopefully I will find out more on wed - I really am sooo nervous just keep thinking they'll say there's nothing there.
Have you been to docs yet deprecious? They gave me my first midwife appointment but its not til September ?
Fingers crossed I'm not sure about flying, I would imagine its fine and ps soooo jealous I could really do with one! It will prob do you the world of good, I've found these past few weeks pretty hard because you want the pregnancy to work so much ! I know it's out of my control now .

i think we missed this round because of being in hospital we did have sex after but not sure if its enough. now i have a horrible yeast infection because of all the antibiotics they had me on and i have little cuts everywhere So painfull!

if nothing happens this month im taking 3 months break from clomid.

Is anyone else having serious mood swings while on these tablets? I don't know if its them or if I'm depressed, but I am just an emotional wreck!
I seen that some of the side effects were mood swings and psychosis! I'm really worried, and I feel like I'm pushing my partner away. I don't want to feel like this, I'm feeling miserable every day and its making him miserable.

Hello ladies . I was too anxious and have been taking opt test for a few days now. So this morning I got a Positive on the opt and DH and I BD. we will BD again tonight and tomorrow night. Hoping this is our month !

Yes I'm taking pregnacare and folic acid. I haven't been well past couple of days, really feeling sick and tired - know I shouldn't grumble and they are good signs but honestly feel rubbish! Have you got any symptoms yet? I was great up until about a week ago but they say all pregnancies are different ? Will you get an early scan too? I'm looking forward to that on wed.
