This was so insenstive and selfish. I was just cringing. What a nob!

have just remembered the way he spoke of his own wife, as well as women in general, when he was on Celeb big brother. Pass the bucket ( and the scissors!)

I don't think Robin Cook would have approved. he was very loyal to TB, wasn't he?

From what I read the Ex Mrs Cook sorted out ehr problems with Gaynor REgan and RC, to the end that she was actually on very good terms with them both, RC also stated recently that he thought very highly of his ex wife Margaret and that the position he was put in at the time forced the revelation to his wife (ie: press waiting to flog the story before he had told Margaret about Gaynor) while I agree that ihe may not have behaved the greatest by conducting an affair, it speaks volumes that his sons were supporting Gaynor and that Margaret attended at all. They obviously spent a lot of time sorting out things like adults...
John Mc though right comments, WRONG time and place!

And yet ex Mrs Cook was quoted as saying she wasn't sure how Gaynor would cope as "she's not very strong" (or words to that effect), and that she would love to go to the funeral, but it was up to Gaynor.

Sounds like there's still a touch of bitterness there, cleverly disguised as 'concern'.
