More evacuations

Totenham Court Road has just been evacuated. I know there are going to be lots of scares following the London bombings but DH has asked me to check if anything has happened. He seems to think something has.

What does 'dummy' nail bomb mean

Apparently means detonators with no explosive.

I'm away - we're being 'unofficially' evacuated. Police using our building - they say it's 'real' but not 'what', and that we should send people home.

Feeling a bit freaked out DP is leaving work now as no tube and has no option to get bus. Are they still running Ok and what about overhead trains???

Two near misses in two weeks, for members of my family, is doing my nerves no good at all.

Police are advising people to stay where they are. Some tube lines are still running and I think overland trains are running too

just heard the Victoria Line is open again, so the incident at Warren St can't have been too bad

I imagine it might have been one of their first thoughts (as you wouldn't necessarily need a big bomb to send out chemicals)

Met is telling everyone to stay off public transport and stay in their offices till further notice.

We have had a mail round from the City police saying there is a bus in Newgate St (Nr Barts Hospital) which is being treated in some suspicious way
