But basically the house was broken into, the family were beaten and went through a six hour ordeal before the kidnappers left with the child who was on holiday with his father.

They are demanding a £100000 randsome.

Ooops - unharmed!!!

Want to hear that he's on a flight back home.

it was wonderful to see his mum smiling on the news.

strange emphasis on words tonight on the news..allegedly was emphasisied more than once.

The story sounds like something out of a movie. I'm so glad the boy was found safe and well and they did whatever it took to get him back alive.

All the news reports I've heard on the radio (bbc) seem to be emphasising how mysterious/strange this whole story is.

It is all very strange - surely the kidnappers would have known that if the father was to hand over money there would be some kind of police surveillance.

Well there have now been 5 arrests across two countries!

So, judging by the BBC news, his father came hme to liaise with the British police, who listened in on his calls to the kidnappers.
No dodgy behaviour on behalf of the Dad, but rather a sensible, shrewd man and a family who stuc to a story in order to ensure the success of the strategy.

Brilliant to see little Sahil in the arms of his Mum and Dad, and home. Brilliant to see his Dad making a lovely bit of film for his Mum.
