story here

Oh I would LOVE to see each and every single non-white british person join the BNP, turn up to all the meetings, vote in the AGM, maybe overthrow the leadership and take control of the BNP.

It would be WONDERFUL.

DP_ I am well aware of inter racial group racism, sadly I had the unpleasant experience of sitting and listening to a SIkh girl give me her take on Muslims once, I said pretty much the same things to her as I do to you.

Women are not all LIberals; I sat this very morning with someone telling me I should ahve had tests rather than 'inflict' my ds3 on his siblings, and we are all aware of Mrs T just as a stater. MN may well attract the Liberals however.

As for Gram, mar Schools... they work well for some, I come from a background and experience area where Grammar Schools and selective education policies work aaginst the benefit of those I care for; I quite understand that it works well for others, indeed my ds2 has just got to top 3 of a MAcbeth speecg contest in a Primary that would ahve once been a natural feeder for Grammar school seeking aprents. It is what happens to the late developers and those like my eldest nwo are exceptionally bright but need a lot of support with social functions in order to demonstrate his abilities. I am a supporter of streaming and setting, just not separation. Why promote inclusion for the least able if we then go against that for the most academic? I would far prefer to see uni-campus differentitated teaching on offer to all.

PuzzleRocks · 24/02/2010 16:04

Thanks for responding Peachy. It's food for thought.

PreachyPeachyRantsALot · 24/02/2010 16:04

Sorry didn't mean to do as separate posts, napping todler on lap

DP- whatb you seem to forget is that you are yes 1 of many but so are people in a great many groups, such as gay aprents and many of the otehr groups you seem to detest. When you argue that their lifestyle is abnormal that is no different I suspect than when you feel targetted. I have only been in your sights once and that was on the SN thread you later apologised for, but that is exactly how I felt then, as you describe yourself as feeling now.

And you know what? On the depression thread you were artguing for people to take a break if MN made them feel bad. Whilst I would never push someone off ehre you may want to give considereation to whether that fits you now. Or just do as I do and hide a great many threads, you've said your piece on MN enough times for people to get it after all, if repeating it makes you feel bad why not stick to the inane stuff for a bit?

But feeling abd becuase people disagree with you.... you've set yourself up as sole BNP rep on ehre (I;d liek to think you are but sadly doubt it), sole repository of faith school morality (despite a great many of us using them).... if you do that you WILL get knocked

noddyholder · 24/02/2010 16:11

If you have extreme far right views and choose to post inflammatory comment on a site where you seem sure that the majority are liberal then the end result is not difficult to determine. This thread is about other races being 'allowed' to join the BNP yet at the first opportunity you try and bring homosexuality into it when you know how people feel about your views. Why bother if it makes you feel bad?Maybe you should take your own advice and stay away if you feel so persecuted. If I tried to post on a far right site with my more liberal views I can be sure the outcome would be that I would be laughed out the door or told where to go but I wouldn't feel hurt and think I was hard done by!

PreachyPeachyRantsALot · 24/02/2010 16:18

Exactly Noddy

DP did you eman by 'know your stuff' anti BNP stuff?

WHilst I would be proud if that were the case, all I did was open their window next to mine and go through their recently updated website.

OK so I get good grades for critical writing but frankly, if Ic an do that in ten minutes anyone with a brain and a reading age above around 7 could as well.

daftpunk · 25/02/2010 13:10

Peachy sorry, had to do a "post & run" yesterday, real life has me by the throat atm and it's not lettng go..!

Just wanted to reply to you quickly, as you always take the time to reply to me.......(am I allowed to smile at you, I'm not being too smarmy or anything..? )

Not sure what SN thread you're talking about..think it might have been the one where I said ADHD is often over diagnosed..? doesn't matter anyway, that's just my opinion and who really gives a shite what I think about ADHD.

Re; The BNP. When I said "you know your stuff" I meant your politics in general...doubt you'd waste too much time finding out about the BNP.

Oh yes, you think I should take a break from MN or hide certain topics.....Hmmm...I think you're right, only thing is alot of the threads on here bore me senseless..I'm no good at smalltalk you see, and find all the general chat about what you've had for breakfast slightly mental....I only like talking about 4 things;...1) politics...2)music... 3)sport...4)myself....

I'll never change.

Leningrad; Stop pretending you're bothered by anything I say. I know you couldn't give a toss what I say or think. You're not the only lesbian on MN, there's loads of you. I doubt all the other lesbians have even heard of me, and even if they have pretty sure they wouldn't waste anytime worrying about what some random on the internet thinks of them.
And If Iv'e set myself up as chief BNP spokesperson, you've set yourself up as the chief lesbian on MN....good luck to you.

Oh btw Lenin, I had to laugh when I heard Stonewall named Jan Moir bigot of the year. Have you lot not heard of Robert Mugabe..? He kills homosexuals for fun, I think that makes him slightly more of a bigot than Jan Moir, but maybe he's a really nice bloke when you get to know him, and of course, he doesn't write for the Daily mail....god bless him.

Peachy....gotta run...catch up soon maybe..

Another smile for extra DP smarminess!

SpeedyGonzalez · 26/02/2010 15:29

DP, you really are confusing things here. You are mixing up my posts (in which I quite rightly challenged your prejudices) with aggressive posts by other people. No wonder you keep getting it wrong. And you still haven't responded to my challenges - but then, as I said earlier in this thread, I wasn't seriously expecting that you ever would.

Speedy;

Do I keep getting it wrong? maybe I do. Have to admit I don't spend alot of time writing my posts, I'm usually on my phone or doing 6 other things at the same time, but hey, I don't think the world will come to an end if my posts aren't delivered with pinpoint accuracy. (We are only on Mumsnet don't forget, in RL my conversations would blow your mind) plus when I get posters asking me to trace my ancestors back to the mesolithic age, I kinda glaze over.

Leningrad;

This situation has never been about who's right and who's wrong. We both have our own agenda and mine is as important to me as yours is to you. I will never be beaten into submission, I don't think homosexuality is natural, you do, let's just call it yin and yang.
The only thing that really annoys me on MN is that people can call the pope a homophobic wanker and all catholics mental, and no one bats an eyelid. I say something about homosexuals and all hell breaks loose, alot of people on MN are trying too hard to be "right on" and liberal, it makes me laugh a bit. And anyway, I don't just stick up for myself and catholics, yesterday I stuck up for all the M'netters who don't know what a haiku is.

And yes, of course as chief lesbian you should have a whip, but only if I'm allowed, (as chief right-wing mentalist) handcuffs and chains....only fair

Right, I'm off to sort out my football team..!

Enjoy your weekend LG..and don't hit me too hard with that whip...

shockers · 27/02/2010 10:06

Jesus was a dark skinned Jew who preached about love. He is not the blonde haired fella that some Catholics have on their walls.

Isn't the true definition of Catholic, "universal" ?

I work in a Catholic school by the way and love my colleagues and the children.

daftpunk · 27/02/2010 10:25

No LG you haven't said anything about catholics, that's true, and you're never abusive. Y'know there are posters on here who seem to get some sort of sadistic pleasure out of being as spiteful as they can to me, they come across as so hateful and deranged they'd get kicked out of the BNP! (there's irony)..

Listen to me please, I have told you so many times I don't hate homosexuals, I don't hate anyone. I know I have a reputation on MN, but this all came about after the NG on Question time threads. I had no masterplan, I see things that annoy me and all my thoughts and feelings just come spilling out. You can't say you believe in freedom of speech and then try and shut-up anyone who doesn't agree with you, fgs LG It isn't against the law to think that homosexuality isn't natural. What sort of world do you want, one where everyone thinks the same ?
And even if I gave in and accepted certain things, do you think anything much would change? millions of people think like me, infact my opionions are pretty tame !

LG, I think we've all had enough of this, I am going to take peachys advice and stick to the boring stuff for a while, I'm exhausted tbh.

daftpunk · 27/02/2010 10:54

LG, read this

Let's end this thread happily..

I never said I'm right, I actually said (only 5 posts ago) that this has never been a question of right or wrong. This is about people wanting to live their life in a way that makes them feel comfortable. I wouldn't feel comfortable in a room full of lesbians, infact I'd rather be in a room full of illigal immigrants....probably have more in common with them. But saying that doesn't make me homophobic, it's just me giving you an example of human nature....

...Which you of all people should understand.

Wasn't it you who set up the "wankers" cliquey thread..? (apologies if I'm wrong)

Why did you set that up? is it because you like being around people like yourself, people who think the same way you do, who like the same things you like..?

Cliquey threads exclude other M'netters, I don't think they add anything to MN...but hey, you carry on.

Absolutely agree. My views on LGBT people, immigrants and BNP policy shouldn't go unchallanged, just like certain aspects of the equality bill shouldn't go unchallanged.

Actually, my faith in mainstream politics has been momentarily restored. The government have backed down over the teaching of homosexuality in faith schools...I'd like to think it was because they saw the error or their ways, but it was more to do with the catholic church telling them to stick the bill up their arse.

Am I going to start quoting you across MN...?

er....why would I do that..?

dp - people don't want you banned (if the do) because you disagree with them. They want you banned because your views are offensive, hurtful, inflammatory and ill informed. There is a big difference.

For the record - I don't want you banned - I would rather that you continue to expose the pathetic and ignorant nature of your party's views on here. You are a brilliant recruiting sergeant for the liberal, enlightened cause!

2shoes · 28/02/2010 12:45

i hope DP isn't banned.
we need to always be aware that there are people out there that hold bigoted views, it keeps us on our toes. (and also makes martyrs of the bigots)
I do think it is a shame though that any thread about racism becomes a "look at me" attention seeking thread. I for one would like to be able to learn more about these things, sadly this is not possible as I have no interest in the ramblings of attention seekers.

daftpunk · 28/02/2010 18:03

2shoes...how long have you been suffering from amnesia..?

You seem to have trouble remembering things.

Leningrad...I mentioned your wankers thread because it's a thread where people of a similar type get together. (like any cliquey thread) You obviously feel comfortable chatting to people who have similar views and opinions to yours. I was trying to make a point, which has obviously passed you by.

Kaloki · 28/02/2010 18:11

DP what does a group of people with similar interests chatting together have to do with any of this thread?
