They've stopped it now.

They were obviously people who have been travelling at that time who have come forward.

I'm so relieved, dw was already at work when it happened. She decided to walk from Cannon street instead of getting the tube round to Liverpool street.

I was in SHOCK as my Hubby works in Liverpool street, but he is ok. I hope none of us have been affected by this tragedy.

i keep trying to phone dp, but it constsntly engaged. My dp's sis just phoned crying her eyes out asking if her brothers are ok (4 brothers) but i cant get in touch with no one, not even there gf and they all work in central london (all except my dp!)

Please don't go round ringing the hospitals - first work out where she lives and how she would get there. There will be a casualty list up soon - you will just congest the phone lines.

been trying to get hold of my sis all morning as she gets a bus to Russell Square every day - just had to give in and check with my Mum who I hadn't wanted to panic, but she is OK got to work before the explosions started - now she's stuck in the building and surrounded by sirens / helicopters etc.
Hope everyone gets news soon from people they know.

Just been watching the news. It's awful. Chris Choi interviewing some poor bloke who was clearly in shock and I just wanted him to leave him alone. And loads of speculation. I know people are desperate for news, any news, but I remember this when it was September 11th - just so called 'experts' speculating endlessly and the same pictures being shown over and over again.

to everyone trying to contact someone. Everyone in my department has now been accounted for, thankfully. I've booked a taxi home (on the company account!) for 2pm, although the taxi firm couldn't guarantee what time it would arrive. I hope I'm allowed out of the office. DS has a classmate who lives up the road, so I will ask whether he can go home with his friend if it looks like I won't get there in time.

martha I agree I know this will be shown over and over again, heard them interviewing a woman on the internet and it was really horrible, leave them alone!!!
