Hell hath no fury and all that.

Goodness she does sound bitter.

Bonsoir · 27/11/2009 08:52

I think "smug, patronising and vicious" is a a pretty accurate description of the article by Sarah Chalmers.

There are some quite good observations in the article but the general tone is OTT.

MaggieBelle · 27/11/2009 08:58

The daily mail never print my comments.

Loads of negative responses being received from obvious mumsnetters. I just made a comment pointing out that it was bizarre to give a negative response to a post saying that somebody got support after their misscarriages. What coudl possibly be BAD about that, or a lie??

Weird. However that post has received negative feedback.

BitOfFun · 27/11/2009 09:06

I can't even view the comments- what do I need to click to enable them?

MaggieBelle · 27/11/2009 09:12

can you click view all?

I don't think they're bothering to update them thoough.

A lot of those other articles linked to by SC had NO comments at all!

Morloth · 27/11/2009 09:13

"smug, patronising and vicious" she says those like they are bad things.

The good thing about Mumsnet (and all websites) is that they come with this amazing little red cross in the top right hand corner, you just click on it and they go away.

I wish real life had such a function!

ArizonaBarker · 27/11/2009 09:16

Really don't give a fig about what some hack writes about the site but am slightly disturbed by the fact that the Heartbeat actor appears to be wearing leather trousers.

Wrong on every level.

morningpaper · 27/11/2009 09:17

I quite like the picture of J & C although admittedly it is perhaps not our Great Leader Whippet-Thin Justine's best side

I love how utterly BAFFLED Carrie's baby looks

Soupy: This Week On Mumsnet was running when I last checked (a couple of weeks ago) but when they run other articles about MN (like this one) they seem to pull it

OP posts:
ledodgy · 27/11/2009 09:25

Why did I think MN had stopped on MN this week?

I left a comment last night and it hasn't appeared. Now I wonder why that is? Wasn't a very insulting one either... I had to sit on my hands Silly tart.

morningpaper · 27/11/2009 09:27

They changed the format so it was more 'comment' rather than a list of direct quotes but it still kept running

ilovemydogandmrobama · 27/11/2009 09:29

Was she the one who posted a thread ALL IN CAPITALS WAXING LYRICAL ABOUT A SPECIFIC FORMULA, and then was puzzled why it was removed and couldn't understand why anyone would think that she was anything other than genuine?

MmeLindt · 27/11/2009 09:36

I joined mumsnet to find others interested in preserving the British way of life. I was badly let down by what I can only describe as a gaggle of bored and boring bullies.

ROFL at 'Araminta'

How does One go about Preserving the British Way of Life?

LadyBlaBlah · 27/11/2009 09:37

The Dm were our friends when we were horrid to Gordon, but now we have been horrid to poor Dave, they don't like us anymore.

Never mind, worse things happen and all that.

AngryFromManchester · 27/11/2009 09:55

so are they still running the this week on mumsnet column?

Oh LadyBlahBlah, I was really stroppy on your thread yesterday about the church. I'm sorry about that. I had a really bad meltdown. I hid it and didn't dare go back . I seem to be taking everything very personally these days. Anyway, sorry.

Now, this silly mare from the DM...

bibbitybobbityhat · 27/11/2009 10:02

Obama - no, I don't think she is. Have just read the whole thread (I really must get on) and some great detective work by our resident insomniacs last night eventually came to the conclusion they are not the same person.

I must say I am MUCH happier that Mumsnet has this sort of profile on the Daily Mail atm, rather than the previous "we love each other and we are in each others pockets" one - I know there's a word for that but can't dredge it up right now - of yore.
