No, I would not.

50ftQueenie · 13/10/2009 10:01

What and have a group of security guards laughing at my hideous pregnancy ravaged body?! Not a chance in hell!

TheCrackFox · 13/10/2009 10:02

No, I would rather take my coat off.

Disenchanted3 · 13/10/2009 10:02

You can just image 'Dave' sat at his desk in the 'remote location' drinking his coffee, eating his custard creams and looking at all the different boobies.

I wonder how safe it is for pregnant women?

StretchFucksTheMailDaily · 13/10/2009 10:04

No, I wouldn't. Have to wonder though, they say it's optional, so won't anybody hiding anything just refuse??

Disenchanted3 · 13/10/2009 10:05

PMSL exactly Stretch

Numbnuts.

I would. I hate always having to take off boots/bangles/belts...

Morloth · 13/10/2009 10:07

Sounds good to me. The removing coats and shoes thing is a PITA, I don't mind if anyone sees me naked.

Needs to be optional though not everyone feels the same way.

StealthPolarBear · 13/10/2009 10:09

yes, probably, sound easy enough and I have no shame!
Radiation thing would bothre me a bit

TheCrackFox · 13/10/2009 10:09

I think "Dave" would have to have years of therapy after seeing my tired body. He could sue his employers for millions.

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 13/10/2009 10:10

No f-ing way!

Itsjustafleshwound · 13/10/2009 10:14

I would - having to remove my shoes and coats, have my bag searched - twice - and trying to deal with two stroppy children and a buggy at the airport - just make it easier ...

What is to say 'Dave' is intersted in Female bodies???

50ftQueenie · 13/10/2009 10:16

Well 'Dave' certainly wouldn't be interested in female bodies after seeing mine!

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 13/10/2009 10:17

Personally, my concern is not 'Dave' seeing a fuzzy image of my naked body, it is a general mistrust of the security measures in place to guarantee the images are destroyed. Although I don't know why this bothers me since I have nothing to hide (piercings, enlargements etc).

IdrisTheDragon · 13/10/2009 10:18

I'd be fine with it.

thedollshouse · 13/10/2009 10:20

I would just take my coat off. No way would I go through the scanner.

whippet · 13/10/2009 10:22

I'd be fine with it I think - it's not exactly a clear image is it?

Just had a bizarre thought - imagine if it was like at a theme park, where they take a picture of you coming down a rollercoaster etc, and by the end of the ride you see all the photos lined up to make into mugs, keyrings...

Could be the same....

gorionine · 13/10/2009 10:26

No I would most definitely take my coat off and leave the scanner well away!

StretchFucksTheMailDaily · 13/10/2009 10:29

The images could easily be taken by another camera though, phone for eg. before being destroyed. And will all the MPs/celebs go though??

Madsometimes · 13/10/2009 11:02

Oh no, far to embarrassing. I do not have any problems with a pat down at an airport, it is always a woman that is doing it.

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 13/10/2009 11:18

Not in a bazillion years

Furball · 13/10/2009 11:35

I've already been through!

They had them in Schiphol, Amsterdam 3 years ago.

Didn't know at the time the image would be so clear but there you go

whomovedmychocolate · 13/10/2009 11:40

Yep, I don't mind. My body is no worse than most and frankly if you see more than 100 arses a day you just become blind to them IYSWIM.
