Coming home in a cab and I heard the news. He was on holiday in Majorca. Went partying, came back, went to sleep. Never woke up.

i reckon it was drugs

i reckn he partied too hard and had a druggy heart attack

I'm not a fan of his either but is a tragically young age to die.

when I was at school you were either a boyzone fan or a take that fan. I was a boyzone fan, and I adored Stephen. even though I am older I am really gutted. So sad.

The news said they are not treating it as suspicious. I personally do not think it has anything to do with drugs.

How terrible famous people die and others always jump too conclusions and think it was drugs, what a sad world we live in.

agree that too many people just to conclusions about how famous people diem autonmatically thinking its drugs/drink etc. Either way it's still sad.

Am disgusted that people are saying this is drugs. The poor guy. He seemed a lovely man. Sometimes people just die young, it's very sad.

I used to hang around with members of boyzone in Dublin and i can definitley confirm Stephen NEVER took drugs especially cocaine.. granted though he was always kinda merry with alcohol but never drugs!! rip mate!!

FFS - sometimes people die young, it's senseless & cruel & tragic. It's not always drugs related. There is SADS, heart attacks, blood clot, there could be any number of reasons why this poor man has died. I don't think it's fair to immediately scream drugs!

Its very sad for his family and friends but even sadder that the red tops will be all over it with crass innuendo tomorrow - they wont be able to resist.

jesus.... i was a boyzone fan when i was 11/12 and he was my favourite... how tragic
