Here's one prediction www.predict09.eu/default/en-us/state_analyses.aspx#united

Cheeringly, it reckons that the BNP won't win a seat. Here's hoping.

Hurrah, London!

policywonk · 08/06/2009 00:45

R4 is packing up and going home

Oh wait, it's 'Bells on Sunday' first.

very poor reporting of North West districts. I've found results for only 15 out of 39, but apparently 35 or more have already declared.

policywonk · 08/06/2009 00:49

Thanks! Was just about to suffer slow-death-by-John-Pienaar

E Mids not so bad. straw clutching

SomeGuy · 08/06/2009 00:58

BNP in Yorkshire only went up by 1.8%. Labour fell 7.5%. That was what let them in.

Election is cash bonanze for Far Right: news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/8085850.stm

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 08/06/2009 01:01

I wish they would declare the south-west - I want to go to bed.

epithet · 08/06/2009 01:02

Tell me about it, Lady Glencora - is that Poole or Southampton? OH COME ON!

policywonk · 08/06/2009 01:04

SW going to declare soon epithet.

BBC predicting that BNP will get two seats - guess that means one in the NW [fuck noooooo]

Yes SG - ex-Labour voters who stayed at home should be ashamed of themselves.

OP posts:
LadyGlencoraPalliser · 08/06/2009 01:04

Poole. Come ON, FFS.

epithet · 08/06/2009 01:04

How's Plantagenet, btw?

EightiesChick · 08/06/2009 01:04

South west declaration 'expected shortly' but nothing about the NW! Will have to go to bed. Wanted to see if my Green vote would vanquish the BNP. [fingers crossed emoticon]

policywonk · 08/06/2009 01:05

Latest from Wainwright in the NW: 'Uncertainty reigns Four areas still being sorted and all talk is of a few hundred votes making the difference: 3 Tories? Or 1 BNP or Green'

OP posts:
MsBrandybuck · 08/06/2009 01:05

Waiting for SW too

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 08/06/2009 01:06

Fine thanks. He's out canvassing for the Liberals in Barsetshire.

policywonk · 08/06/2009 01:07

When is that Norwich North by-election? Should be interesting...

OP posts:
EightiesChick · 08/06/2009 01:07

Never thought I would say this but I'll take an extra Tory MEP any day if the alternative is a BNP one (shudder). Still hoping the Greens can pull it off though.

epithet · 08/06/2009 01:09

Good man! Barsetshire is a key territory, I hear. Jeremy Vine indicates that his efforts are wasted (no sign of any BNP thing going on though).

WetAugust · 08/06/2009 01:12

Also waiting for the SW - I'll be a zombie at work tomorrow morning

policywonk · 08/06/2009 01:13

Are we having a Georgette Heyer moment or something?

OP posts:
epithet · 08/06/2009 01:14

Trollope, m'dear!

Ooh, we're on! Possibly....
