Have just seen This and am now crying my eyes out aftre watching the video.

I can't even begin to imagine how it must feel to know you may never see your kids again just on someone's say so...

Surely there must be something that can be done about this? She is British our government do something?

I would never have married someone and moved to a country that you know is run by nutters with their stupid woman hating rules,and I would discourage my children from doing so. I know a lot of Muslim men who can't keep it in their pants but trot off to mosque leaving their burka covered chaste women at home.

Even if this woman did commit adultery that is no reason to take her children from her, it makes her a bad wife not a bad mother.

Their must be something that can be done, poor poor woman and poor poor children

Squiggly, the women in the prison are not terribly likely to be Gulf Arabs. I hear what you are saying about Iran, but this is a vast majority expat community (I think 80% rather than 95%) - from all I have heard about the prisons (and people do spend time in them - drink driving etc) the expat majority (especially from the subcontinent) is even greater there.

no true muslim would do that to his kids, or his wife. he is just a bastard, through and through. using the law to his advantage. the adultery charges are probably made up by him. and he may well have paid any witnesses etc.
men like him exist in every society. even in england, where the law tends to be on th emoms side, men like him will get their own way.

i grew up in the middle east, and have lots of friends from there. not all divorced women are treated int his way. in fact most are not. they have the same problems that divorced women in england have. no more, no less. just different legal system. women who choose bastards to procreate with, like this womans choice, end up with horrendous prolems, whatever legal system they are in.
