Shit parents and crappy childhood
YES she went in BB and acted like a fool and YES she went in BB a second ime and said some ignorant racist stuff

but she was 'ill educated' and she did not 'know better' but in her favour :

she educated herself

she learned her lesson

she apologised and meant it

I AM a fan of Jade

I like her a lot and feel much sadness at this vibrant and humour full life cut short

Her little boys were goign to have the mother she never had and i SO relate to that

so KISSES for Jade tonight and much love -sign in if you wish !

2shoes, how can someone with half a wit possibly read " if MN contuniues to give in to these requests to sideline 'unacceptable' threads" - someone who appears to be a native English language speaker - then re-translate this unabgiuous sentence into "so you mean if an op says you can only post if you feel one way, that is right?"

I de-registered for a while (hence the MT1)- I was more than a little disgusted with the urge people have to sideline and shut people up on here - a parenting support site. That's nothing to do with disagreement, that's censorhip.

I cannot explain it in any more basic, uncomplicated language than it is in 2shoes. I really can't. There is no simpler language I can put it in.

You have me looking at my post, blinking and wondering where the riddle is...I cannot find it.

If you could point it out - some specific clause that you don't understand - then I then I might be able to respond with somehting other than mystifcation. This is not a shitty remark or response - it's sarcastic, yes, becasue I find it really hard to believe you are being up front about this - though I have no idea why.

Honestly, though,I am so bewildered at what is going on on here. Disagreeing with people, arguing the toss - these were the things that made MN great. But censoring people? sidelinging threads? people so quick to label people they have known for years 'racists'? Duplex-posting on threads to stop other people discussing stuff?

Really. I think we really need to stop and take a look at this. It's really not good.

Sorry 2shoes, if you didn;t get it, really.

I just mean that there is a big controlling element on MN, and MN Towers giving in to requests to sideline threads, has emboldened it. I'm not saying people who ask for this kind of stuff are totalitarian, just that the tendency to control what other people talk about is. And it really is. We all have sides to our character that we wouldn;t want to encourage - I am constantly slapping myself on the wrist. But the power that MN has given people in demanding this is corrupting MN - IMHO. We're all suseptable to it. I just think some of us need to have a think about what MN is and who it is for.

It's bringing out a sinsiter side to MN and to people I have known and respected in here for years. It's happening by increments though so i don;t know if anyone else is noticing this. It concerns me.
