she educated herself

she learned her lesson

she apologised and meant it

I AM a fan of Jade

I like her a lot and feel much sadness at this vibrant and humour full life cut short

Her little boys were goign to have the mother she never had and i SO relate to that

I don't recall posting on one either but I do wish her all the best. Those complaining, I hope people show you more compassion should you ever find yourself ill let alone terminally ill with young children to think about. I can't even begin to imagine how she must be feeling and how knowing she won't be alive for much longer will affect her. Her poor children

MaryAnnSingleton · 27/02/2009 22:11

perfectly reasonable to be sad for her, mean spirited not to

ScottishMummy · 27/02/2009 22:12

my thoughts are jade had dysfunctional childhood, poverty, disruptive schooling.poor parenting/attachment by parents.

she has had to work through all that

she isn't the brightest
she can be inept
she was racist

she is human and flawed,a woman facing her mortality.leaving 2 sons

Twinklemegan · 27/02/2009 22:13

This story does touch a nerve with me, and I never get sentimental over celebrity stuff, particularly Jade-type celebs. But this is a young mother who has worked really hard to turn her life around. It makes me sad not only for her and her family, but for all the other families out there who silently go through similar tragedies.

PillicockSatOnPillicockHill · 27/02/2009 22:14

i am a human and flawed also

Do you really think she was sorry for her actions, or that she was sorry for being caught acting shockingly aggressive and vile on video? I hadn't seen the footage until recently and she was scarily out of control nasty and violent. That said -

I do agree that she is looking extraordinarily well these days. Better than she has for years. Amazingly beautiful complexion and gorgeous well-defined eyes and lips. I'd like to think that she was not fading fast but gaining back some strength that may have been lost through awful and draining treatments.

a lot of people never learn

I find it mawkish but I actually think it too. I don't know her, I don't even know if she's a nice person to her friends and family and those she cares about, I only know what I read and I don't always believe what I read. All I see is another woman who will die from a terrible disease and who deserves our sympathy for having had this happen to her, and a couple of very young kids who will lose their mother. Boys who know her in a different way to the ways we all think we know her.

It's a sad situation and just because she is 'Jade', the person we read about in the papers, doesn't mean it is wrong or stupid to feel sympathy for all those actually involved in her death.

Northernlurker · 27/02/2009 22:23

Look we're all mothers or mothers to be or hoping to be - it's not asking much to find compassion in your heart for someone just like you who is terminally ill and facing leaving her children.

I hope Jade has lots of time still with her loved ones.

Those of you who come on to these type of threads and moan - I don't really understand what you hope to achieve? If you don't like the thread than don't read it - but don't attack your sisters for showing fellow feeling with a dying woman. It makes you look small and heartless and I know you aren't - so just stop ok?

ScottishMummy · 27/02/2009 22:23

what is to be gained from speculating Jade's contrition?unfortunately she lives and will die publicly.such is schlocky schleb coverage

saymyname · 27/02/2009 22:24

What beanieb and northernlurker said.

Well said girls.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 27/02/2009 22:27

Lawks yes of course it's a tragedy yadda yadda but fgs 'Poor Jade fading fast - she looks quite beautiful......' I mean some of you are relishing discussing her condition

ScottishMummy · 27/02/2009 22:29

lets all have a moment of clarity.a mum facing mortality.2 wee boys losing mummy.

really sad

Jade was public property yes,but she is also a mum and wife.she does have a private side too

2shoes · 27/02/2009 22:30

I feel sad for her
But I feel sad for everyone in her situation

PillicockSatOnPillicockHill · 27/02/2009 22:30

bald just go away

OP posts:
2shoes · 27/02/2009 22:31

BALD CAN POST WHERE SHE LIKES

saymyname · 27/02/2009 22:31

BALD, you normally post so nicely.

Such a shame to see you like this.

MrsFreud · 27/02/2009 22:35

I saw a programme last year about African mothers with aids who know they are going to die soon but have no living family left to look after their little children. There is no state welfare and no millions in the bank. There children will be out on the street. Now they are a group I feel terrible for, even now a year after I saw the programme i feel angry about it.

Do the Jade fans not poke their noses outside into the real world unless it is in Hello or Heat magasine???

LilyBolero · 27/02/2009 22:35

It is being goulishly raked over - yesterday one headline wasn't, as you might expect 'Wendy Richard dies' but 'Wendy Richard phoned Jade in her last hours'. Everything Jade does is analysed - is she about to die? Is she feeling stronger?

Everyone feels sympathy, but not everyone revels in every last detail of her life and death.

I do agree though, she looks very beautiful atm.

bangandthedirtisgone · 27/02/2009 22:35

Jesus Christ bald, get a grip ffs.

I normally raise a private when I see other posters creaming themselves over natural birth or the beauty of breastfeeding but I don't post my crazy bile all over their threads.

Northernlurker · 27/02/2009 22:35

I don't think anyone is relishing discussing a young woman's suffering. Some do seem to be relishing the opportunity to come on to threads that they can see from the outset they will disagree with and be snotty. Perhaps this gives you a sense of well being and purpose?

If so it is misplaced - it makes you look small and mean - and you should stop it.

2shoes · 27/02/2009 22:36

oh come on the fred title is mawkish.
BALD has a right to her op

ScottishMummy · 27/02/2009 22:38

cant stand all this schoolgirl posturing oi she said/isaid/you said stick up for my mate
