from my point of view I am sad at what has happened to Jade,but that is not because its Jade, I would be very sad if this happened to anyone,it being Jade is just circumstance,its awful...period, it is sad when ANYONE is in this situation, I am not a 'fan'of her, I just feel upset that a young mum is going through this,because it reminds me of my own mortality, I do think the Shilpa poppadom thing was racist,so what if Jades dad was 'black' its like the whole ..I can't be racist because I have black friends'argument is it not

as it happens i don't really think that this thread is too bad on the competitive grieving front, and i broadly agree with the OP apart from the mawkish title. but i do think, gosh, she's young and it's a shame etc.

now. i haven't trawled this whole thread. but have read the OP and the last few posts. and I have to say what i find TRULY objectionable is that jade looks beautiful because she is dying. because she is very thin. because in fact, that cadaverous look, size 00, size death, is what we're all aiming for ladies!
