I've done the test. I am a centre-right libertarian, apparently. I am v disappointed - I expected to be much further to the right. Though I am happy with the libertarian bit. And I suppose it might make Michael Portillo more likely to marry me if I'm not really that right wing.

Dottoressa - I think there might be an unseemly tussle should the situation arise.

When I first posted on mn, I asked why so many of my friends fancied MP. I was genuinely curious. A number of posters replied. One poster was very good at articulating the reasons why. (Won't out her, though I'm sure she wouldn't mind).

Still don't quite understand why he is such catnip and the absolute source of his mysterious charm ... .

Is it something to do with that lower lip? I don't fancy him myself but I'm wondering if that hint of the moody, passionate Mediterranean (Portuguese?) ancestry might be what tips women over.

And I don't want to worry anyone, but there was that interesting interchange between him and Peter Mandelson a few years ago at a dinner: where they (apparently) greeted each other as Miguel and Pedro...

Years ago, he had a 'special friendship' with Peter Lilley, can't remember what he was but something in the Tory government at the time. Must admit he is much more attractive since he's reinvented himself as caring person since he lost his parliamentary seat. A great improvement.
