Are the McCanns really being cleared?

They were foolish, but I can't imagine they were in any way involved in her disappearance.

Well presumably if they are being cleared it is because the year plus long investigation and police work have found no evidence to suggest that they were in any way responsible.

Therefore, my thoughts - lets hope everyone leaves them be to deal with their private life in the future, but to support them in their search for thier missing little girl.

I didn't say they were expat. No I don't think Murat had anything to do with it at all as far as I can remember he was a supect because 'he was too helpful' according to one of the news people he was helping.

I don't think the McCanns are directly responsible for little Madeleine's disappearance but I do blame them.

Well, they're not being cleared. The case is being closed.

They are supposed to be getting cleared today (according to papers) because there is no eveidence against them, or anyone else for that matter. Has there been any talk of Murat being cleared I felt so sorry for him the other day when he spoke to BBC.

according to news this morning the case is being closed and it is expected that mccanns and murat will all have their arguido status removed.

No-one will ever know what happened to Madeleine. Presumably now the Mccanns will just become people that come on tv and radio to talk about their ordeal every time a child goes missing, in much the same way as Ben Needham's mother has for the past several years.

Hopefully pone day we will find out what happened to Madeleine for her and her families sake. Wherever she is I hope shes happy one way or another.

It's sad when you see Kerry Neeham on TV after what about 16 years? Maybe more still not knowing. That must be the worst part.

I always feel for Kerry Needham when I see her on tv. But she has always believed that ben will come back one day. For her though I think the difference is that it is very widely believed that Ben was stolen for an illegal adoption racket, so was most likely brought up by people who desperately wanted a child and would have loved him, whereas this is not believed to have been the case with madeleine.

I don't think it's so much that it brings out the most in people I think it's more a case of it brings out the extreme's in people as in opinion wise.

Everyone is entitled to think what they like about them. At the end of the day they only have themselves to blame foir being hated by some people.

What are they being cleared of?They have never been charged with anything just made 'arguidos' which is an official suspect but considering they never answer any questions straight and they have made this circus themselves i think its a joke Will be interesting to see what happens when that detectives book comes out.
