TheRedWorm · 25/04/2008 22:49

Dear old Humph. This is very sad. But how fantastic to have been such a brilliant performer right to the end.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 25/04/2008 22:49

wrinklytum · 25/04/2008 22:50

Oh no

Humph is a star

Shall we have a game of Mornington Crescent to commiserate/celebrate his life??

ISIHAC will never be the same.

Gutted!!

Habbibu · 25/04/2008 22:50

wessexgirl · 25/04/2008 22:51

I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue, so classic.

ZoeC · 25/04/2008 22:51

Yes, very good!

stuffitllama · 25/04/2008 22:53

No! This is awful. Sod it. Sod it. He was brilliant.

On my left hand is Samantha.

And who remembers when she was going to visit a birdwatcher to see his woodcock, pullet and swallow?

WanderingTrolley · 25/04/2008 22:55

Oh no.

I was worried to hear he was having that op at his age.

Very sad news. He was a legend.

May he join Willie Rushton on the Northern Line (no shunting or crossing diagonals, Knaresborough Rules after sundown)

We should play Mournington Crescent.

Yurtgirl · 25/04/2008 22:56

No I didnt Habbibu but it did work perfectly nonetheless

Yurtgirl · 25/04/2008 22:57

Is that Mournington crescent cos we are mourning his death WT

seeker · 25/04/2008 22:58

How dare he - I hadn't finished with him yet!

Wheelybug · 25/04/2008 22:59

Thats v. sad - we saw him in wimbledon last summer - he was v.funny and v. talented.

TheRedWorm · 25/04/2008 22:59

I hope they don't continue with ISIHAC without him.

SoMuchToBits · 25/04/2008 23:00

We saw him in September - at the ISIHAC stage show in Ipswich. He was brilliant. He will be very much missed.

berolina · 25/04/2008 23:00

Oh no!

chopchopbusybusy · 25/04/2008 23:01

Seeker how fitting - I think he'd love that comment. My Dad was a huge fan and I have very fond memories of my Dad disappearing into another room with his radio saying it's Humph time!
